I called about 10 minutes before they closed, which I am not a proponent of, apologized for doing so, and ordered the Italian Stallion. The gentleman on the phone was nice enough to let me sub turkey for the black forest ham, and also suggested the wheat bread when I asked; I'm glad I listened. This sammy was absolutely fuego: perfectly warm and crunchy, toasted bread; piled with super thinly sliced capicola (as it should be, so that meaty, umami, goodness just melts in ya friggin mouth!); balanced by crunchy lettuce and onion, juicy tomato, a delicious tapenade, and a little mustard and mayo. This thing was a work of art and I wanted to eat it again as soon as I was done. Go here, get this. P.S. it came with a tasty choccy chip cookie. Bravo. read more

My fire crew came here almost every day for a total of month over two fire assignments after we discovered it. You won't find people happier to serve you food. It felt like ordering from good friends after day one. Had my name memorized after like day 3. And the food was soooooooo good! We made our second ever trip to Red Canyon Cafe a few weeks ago--the first was 4 years ago--and it was superb. Yes I know that's a bit much to say about a small town sandwich place but it's well deserved! The menu is wonderfully broad--you can choose hot sandwiches/paninis, cold sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches/burritos, and more. All five of us loved what we ordered--4 hot sandwiches and 1 breakfast bagel sandwich. The reviews were unanimous! Counter service was good, food was made to order in 10-15 minutes, and while there is limited indoor seating we sat outside on a lovely summer afternoon. Highly recommended! read more

Stopped in on our way to Aspen and we are SO glad we did! They have a good amount of seating and loads of sandwich options. Also BREAKFAST ALL DAY. We got biscuits w/ butter and honey and two of the sandwiches, Bomber BLT and a Greek one my bf doesn't remember the name of but said it was a delicious blend of flavors baked to perfection. The teas were divine! Try the turmeric ginger and the wellness tea. Ryan was super helpful in suggesting teas and is an all around awesome dude. Definitely stop in and grab some food here! read more

The food and beverages were very good. The setting was inviting with an interesting outdoor seating space with sun and shade. I'm always turned off when a gratuity is requested at point of sale. When I gave a 20% prompted tip, I didn't have any idea that there would be literally NO service. They simply shout your name and you retrieve your beverage. Then just as you're seated, they shout again that your food is ready. Finally seated, I realized that they didn't include cream in my order of coffee. When I took myself back to the counter to ask for the missing cream, I was told I had to bring the coffee to them for the addition. I've been in many establishments that had walk-up service, but there was always a server that came around to be sure we didn't need any refills, changes, etc. When I commented on how surprised I was that I was prompted to add tip, the response was, "you didn't have to press that button on the screen." I responded, "I also didn't realize there would be no service." To summarize, I very much recommend the food. I hope you choose not to add a gratuity. I'm still hearing them ask customers if they'd like to add a gratuity....as they hand them a bag of food. ‍ read more

Really disappointing because this place was highly recommended. Everyone must have covid taste buds still because this place wasn't just bad it was sad. You can clearly see they use a lot of Kirkland products. Portions size was small. It's basically a homemade sandwich for 10 dollars but just an ok sandwich. It was lacking in flavor and was soggy. OK these people know how to do it right they are extremely friendly they make great sandwiches and they have a very efficient set up with two windows taking orders. Very impressed I have a great latte there there is limited seating but it's on both sides of the building so you can usually get a seat at a table. Well worth pulling off the highway to grab a sandwich and a coffee! read more
