This review is for their Windsor location. I ordered the chicken breast with salad and potato salad to go. They threw in a chicken wing. The chicken was tender and sides were good. $10.99 plus an extra 59 cents for salad and of course sales tax for the governator. Great value for a ton of food. I only ate half so leftovers for tomorrow. It's not low and slow Texas or Southern BBQ but it is tasty. Next time, I'll try the pulled pork. read more

Not impressed with the food or drinks. We ordered boba and the milk tea tasted sour and we had to return it and get another oneThe boba was soft and fell apart in your mouth, instead of firm and chewy. The Mac and cheese was over cooked and tasted old. We had the ribs and it was all fat! A waste of $50 for sure. read more

We had the ribs and brisket. With Mac and cheese and beans for sides. Also, extra side of Cole slaw. Portions were generous and the meats were tasty and cooked right! Sides were excellent! Coleslaw needed some zing though. read more

We ordered ribs for delivery. We received a call telling us there were no ribs available. We cancelled the order but were billed $40.00 for the driver and the restaurant. This is so unacceptable and we will are very disappointed. We will never oder here again. read more

This place is listed as Asian fusion barbecue but it's more Texas barbecue than anything. It's a small place in a strip mall where the music is Spanish so it may be something in the sauce that they're selling (like maybe ginger?). We both ordered a two meat platter with brisket and ribs. With two sides, it was more food than we expected. Each plate had at least 3/4 pound of meat. We were in a meat coma the rest of the day. The meats had a great smoky flavor with the barbecue sauce being complimentary rather than overwhelming. The salad was substantial and the coleslaw was tasty without being too sweet. The only downside was one of the ribs was served a little too well done. The baked beans were more southwest style than the usual brown sugar style, which was a nice touch. I eat a lot of barbecue, especially when I travel. This is one place I would definitely return to in the future. read more

Rarely do I find gems of this caliber !! But red bee bbq is amazing !! There are so many choices of meat and sides at an amazing price especially for lunch time !! I had the bbq pork and the bbq chicken with coleslaw and macaroni salad that were delicious!! Do yourself a favor and get the street corn and don't miss out on the cornbread!! read more

Ambiance: n/a I think most people choose red bee as a fast casual takeout location more so than dine in. The ambiance is fine but you aren't coming here for that. Very dishonest business practices. We don't recommend this place. The owner recommended the lunch special for $12.99 & we said okay, then he switch to the $14.99 without telling us. We ordered 2 of the 6 meat, 6 sides family meals for a New Year's Eve dinner for 7 adults. We chose brisket, tri-tip and barbecued chicken for the meats with macaroni salad, baked beans and cornbread for the sides. Everything was absolutely delicious. Perfect. Even the green salad was crunchy, crisp. The service and help figuring out how much to order was most appreciated. For a quick place to eat. It was okay! The option for a meat package in a "BBQ place" was convenient for the area but just be a butcher and leave the cooking to someone else. Only go there if your starving or on a budget. I had the option of chicken, riblets, carnitas and ribs. read more

Tried Red Bee last week and was impressed. I got the dinner combo (3 meats, corn bread, macaroni salad, and green salad for $16). Everything was tasty and it was a good value (plenty of food and the largest spare rib I've ever had). Could've turned it into two meals but I ate the whole thing. Definitely worth a return visit. read more

Darn, why did I wait so long? Great service to start with, that always helps. We did the Yelp check in samples and were sold by them. I did the ribs, cornbread and beans (super tasty) and my bud did the brisket, coleslaw and beans. The brisket was "fall apart " tender and very tasty. Awesome value for lots to eat. It was either Togos sandwich or we would try this new BBQ joint which has been open for 3 or 4 months, why not, get some nice pork meat stuck in my teeth. Order the rib plate which was two ribs, some cole slaw and corn bread. The first thing I noticed is that the ribs were tough and not "falling of the bone" style which would have made it easier to eat. Over sauced for my liking, cole slaw nothing special and the corn bread was dry. But then it's suppose to be dry anyway. The price was about 8 bucks, so compared to lunch anywhere else, it's a deal. Red Bee BBQ is one my favorite spots to eat in Windsor. There is so much to choose from and everything they serve is amazing! Their meal deals are such an incredible value. My favorites are the BBQ chicken and pulled pork with baked beans and coleslaw. I always add a side of corn bread with their honey butter because it is to die for. red bee bbq seems to have a lot of regulars, and i can see why. the service is so friendly and…read morefast, and it's a great price for bbq! there's not much seating indoors or outdoors, but it seems like most people take their food to-go. my boyfriend ordered a lunch special, which comes with a meat and two sides, with smoked beef brisket, mac & cheese, and fried rice. i ordered a 2 meats and 2 sides combo, with pork ribs, pulled pork, corn bread, and crazy corn. - smoked beef brisket (2/5): this was a chopped brisket, and most of the pieces were very small and soft. some of the bigger pieces were a little chewy, and the brisket didn't taste fresh. it was more like a pot roast or braised beef than brisket. it was marinated in a sweet bbq sauce, which i would've preferred less sweet, and i thought there was too much of it. it was a good and filling serving though - pulled pork (3.5/5): better than the brisket! but it also didn't taste very fresh. it was juicy and tender and marinated in a more smoky and salty bbq sauce, which i liked better - pork ribs (3.5/5): not fall-off-the-bone like ribs should be but more tender than i expected! the flavor was somewhat in between the pulled pork and beef brisket, with a sweet bbq sauce on top of a peppery and savory rub. i did think it needed more sauce, so i asked for an extra cup of bbq sauce on the side. the ribs were pretty big and meaty! - mac & cheese (2/5): honestly just an okay mac & cheese. it wasn't really that flavorful or cheesy, and it probably could've used a little more salt. the consistency was a little runny - fried rice (2.5/5): like fried rice you would get from panda express. it wasn't bad - just a little flavorless and an option if you wanted to eat your meat over rice. i thought it was nice to mute the strong flavor of the brisket a bit. i did like how moist it was - corn bread (4/5): one of the best items on the plate! i liked the sweetness and flavor from the cornmeal, although it was a little too sweet for my preference. it was also a little dry, like a dense cake. it would've been great warm - crazy corn (4/5): a very classic elote! the amount of mayo and chili on the corn was perfect. my only complaint was that the corn wasn't the freshest, and it didn't come out very hot red bee bbq is definitely not a traditional bbq restaurant - it's an asian-owned fast food bbq joint, and the food reflects that. it doesn't even come close to the best bbq we've ever had, but it's extremely affordable and the portion sizes are great. and besides, the staff is so kind! i generally like beef brisket over any other bbq meat, but i would definitely recommend the pulled pork over brisket here. just don't come with any expectations, and the food will satisfy.

No barbecue sauce needed--and that's exactly how I like it. The apple slaw was crisp, light, and refreshing, providing the perfect contrast to the rich meat. My wife chose the cornbread, drizzled with honey and served with honey butter, and it was absolutely over-the-top delicious. To top it all off, the wonderful young woman working the counter surprised us with a complimentary banana pudding after hearing about the drive we'd made just to eat there. It was such a thoughtful gesture and perfectly reflected the hospitality of the place. She was dismissive, unprofessional, and showed zero empathy for someone injured on the property. I understand no one wants to hear that a guest got hurt at their restaurant, but the response matters. Listening and following up properly isn't optional when someone is injured on-site -- it's basic liability handling, and it's part of the job she's paid to do. Megan said she'd call me back "tomorrow," with an attitude, after I told her not to take it personally -- this isn't personal, it's just something that needs to be documented and addressed. I'd genuinely like to resolve this directly and avoid involving the BBB or an attorney, but that requires someone on their end willing to actually listen.

They were both fresh and delicious -- and even though the ribs were amazing, I think I liked the Cobb salad better of the two. My friend got the burger one day and the BLTA the other (see above re: excellent avocados state-wide, and Sweet T's was no exception). One of the two days, we were hankering for dessert as well -- and we hankered ourselves a slice of Key Lime Pie, which was a super smart choice, especially after eating such savory dishes both days. Cannot wait to return to Windsor to see my friend -- and when I do, we will definitely be back to Sweet T's!

The chicken was nice and crispy. The PB n J sauces actually worked well together though it was a bit sweet for me, and sticky after the fact. Easy to work with us for events since it is nearby for our work place so usually a go to at least once during the year.

I asked for two sides of baked beans and they were the best baked beans I've ever had...so flavorful with a little spicy kick.
