Anyway this was a Sunday, so there you go. So, this is a confusing thing. Is this place for to-go only?--or do they want you to eat here? I'm not sure cause everything points to them wanting to get rid of you, but then they have picnic tables right next to the stand so....????? I mean, first off, when you order they give you a ticket and tell you that you have to pay inside the market. So I do that. Then you're supposed to come back and tell them you've paid and they will "make" your meat (which you can see them grilling in the smokers a dozen feet away.) Then after sitting for 10min or so, they'll call your name and hand you a bag with your meats wrapped tightly in aluminum foil. You can grab utensils and napkins on the side. So we got us some ribs, specifically an uncut slab of ribs, which yeah are easy to peal away with your fingers, but also tri tip... that was NOT SLICED, a half pound chunk of meat. Um..... so...... was this meant to be taken home and prepared?--sure seemed like it... 1. Choice Half Tri Tip $10.99: Yeah, so like I said, this is a chunk of meat that you gotta cut. If you wanna eat it there, good luck cutting it with their cheapo plastic knives. And of course, good luck not cutting through the foil and getting juice all over your lap. But perhaps that's good?--cause yeah, can't get juice on your lap and thigh and crotch without it being.... juicy right? Maybe not perfectly medium-rare, but I'd say it was just about medium to medium-well, which was fine. It wasn't particularly smokey, but I did like the nice crust outside too. Anyway...
