This is my nephews place, they're just getting started at this location, he does great work! He's been working on my cars for years. I say give them a try you won't regret it. The other review were someone wasn't satisfied, I say let people know before you give a bad review give them opportunity to correct it, these businesses are people's livelihood. A restauranteur told us that at a Yelp event.

My car was near totaled after a bad accident and these guys brought my car back to life. The customer service is unmatched, I was driven to the rental place by them and was given updates on the progress of my car. Once I got it back, I felt like I was picking up a new car. I'd recommend their services to anyone Very honest and trustworthy unlike a lot of auto body shops I've visited in the past.

While we were en route, he guided us through the application, credit check, and income verification process over the phone, making it all very smooth and convenient. Cons: Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this dealership overall. I believe they engaged in a bait-and-switch tactic. The price quoted to us online and over the phone changed once we arrived, with additional conditions that were never disclosed beforehand or listed online. So I believe, they do deceptive marketing. Additionally, they initially lowballed our trade-in offer by $3,500. It was only after we showed them a competing offer from CarMax that they increased their offer by $2,000.

Prior to my visit, she provided the Carfax reports and confirmed that both vehicles were available. Based on that information, I made the 45-minute drive from the Bronx to Long Island, paying for gas and tolls along the way. Upon arriving, instead of being shown the vehicles I came to see, I was repeatedly pressured to complete a credit application. I explained that I wanted to inspect the vehicles first before discussing financing or submitting any personal information. Rather than honoring that reasonable request, the staff attempted to redirect me toward two completely different vehicles that I had never inquired about and had no interest in purchasing. After standing firm and again requesting to see the vehicles I had specifically made the appointment for, I was eventually informed that neither vehicle was actually ready for sale. Had I been told this before making the trip, I would not have wasted my time, gas, tolls, or nearly an hour of travel. Confirming that vehicles are available, scheduling an appointment, and then revealing upon arrival that the vehicles cannot be shown is unprofessional and misleading. The continued pressure to complete a credit application before even viewing the advertised vehicles only added to the frustration. I cannot recommend doing business with a dealership that operates this way.

No beating around the bush or changing things on you. After we agreed upon a price and trim level, Rob ordered it for me and we picked up our new vehicle. It's very nice and I thought he did the best he could on the price, we were very happy with Rob and even Tom the Sales Manager. That being said, my only gripe was the finance department. We got another gentleman, also named Tom. While signing the paperwork I explained to Tom that the price was different than what I was quoted by Rob, all in. He glossed over it and explained there was a delivery fee, however that was already built in to the price. I realized after taking the car that the fee was doubled up on to the tune of around $1,100 or so. After numerous calls to Tom, the finance guy, he finally sent a payment to my bank to remove the incorrect overcharge. Mind you, I had to get Rob and the Sales Manager involved for this to be remedied. I was not pleased with this portion of the transaction, but the sales part was great. Rob A. Got me everything he promised and kept his word. Just keep an eye on the final price and what the finance team puts on your paperwork. A mistake or oversight, whatever it was, it was extremely frustrating and I probably paid a little out in interest on his wrong final price during financing.

BEWARE: THIS PLACE IS SCAM!…read more My coworker was interested in buying a 2016 Audi A6 with 29,000 miles at NYC Motorcars. The website had the vehicle priced at $23,500. He jumped on it immediately. When he went to the dealership, he was slapped with approximately $8000 worth of fees! $2000 of those fees were for a "down payment"; FIRST RED FLAG! The down payment is usually subtracted from the balance NOT added on top of the listed price. $2500 was for a MANDATORY warranty. Warranties on a vehicle, especially an used car, are optional; SECOND RED FLAG. $2000 for a vehicle prep fee. They were charging HIM $2000 to vacuum and wash the exterior of the car; THIRD RED FLAG. The last $1,500 was a variety of fees including documentation fees, dealership fees etc.; FOURTH RED FLAG. When questioned about the fees the sale rep became very irate and told him that he will no longer help him. Please save yourself the time, money and frustration. I'm not sure how this is legal but this place needs to be shut down. This place deserves ZERO stars.

I was given VERBAL confirmation that the vehicle is on the lot. Upon arrival I didn't see the vehicle on the lot & was told that they have a "storage" place where they keep other vehicles. After waiting for 45 minutes, I was then told that the car was "sold" and that they apologized for the miscommunication. I feel like they tried a "bait and switch" technique, where a location lures a customer into the location by stating that they have the car there, & switching them into purchasing another vehicle. After negotiation & potentially switching into another vehicle, I was also told by a representative that their lifetime power train warranty was MANDATORY for me to take, and that it comes with every vehicle. I asked him if it's MANDATORY to take and he stated that it was. I then asked to speak to the sales manager who COMPLETELY BRUSHED off the fact that his representative are forcing customers to take warranty that's proclaimed OPTIONAL. The sales manager explained that it is in fact OPTIONAL. Once I brought up that I was feeling like they tried to bait and switch me, the sales manager completely dismissed me and told me that I don't have to buy the car and rushed me out. The representative was a heavier, short, Indian looking guy. The sales manager was slim, taller, a bit bald and wore jewelry.. (multiple bracelets and rings). I called to ask for their names and it wasn't given to me. Again, HIGHLY UNSATISFIED! Utterly disgusted by this service. I work in service myself and believe in leaving good reviews because I know how much it can help a service, however, driving 2 hours for a vehicle that's not there and trying to bait and switch me is very unprofessional! Looking forward to speaking to CEO real soon...

My experience with the 2024 Porsche Cayenne and the service provided by Porsche South Shore has…read morebeen, without question, the worst automotive experience I have ever had. What should have been the ownership of a premium luxury vehicle turned into nearly two years of constant frustration, stress, and disappointment for both myself and my family. From the beginning of my lease, the vehicle experienced numerous mechanical issues, software malfunctions, and other recurring problems that significantly affected the reliability and usability of the car. Instead of enjoying a vehicle from what is supposed to be a world-class automotive brand, I found myself repeatedly dealing with service appointments, unresolved problems, and ongoing uncertainty about whether the car would function properly. Unfortunately, the problems with the vehicle were only part of the overall negative experience. The response from Porsche South Shore's service department was deeply disappointing and, at times, highly unprofessional. During my interactions with the service department, particularly with the service manager at the time, Chris Alvis, I felt that my concerns were not taken seriously. Rather than receiving support or meaningful assistance, I often felt dismissed and, during one meeting, was even accused of exaggerating or misrepresenting the issues with the vehicle. That interaction was extremely upsetting and left me feeling completely unsupported as a customer. In an attempt to resolve the situation through proper channels, I communicated multiple times by phone and email with Jeff Stokes, PCIC Regional Specialist at Porsche Cars North America. Unfortunately, despite initial assurances that the situation would be reviewed, the outcome of those communications felt more like an effort to defend the dealership and minimize the severity of the problems rather than to fairly address the concerns I was raising. Instead of receiving help, I felt that responsibility for the ongoing issues was being shifted back onto me. I also reached out directly to McGovern Auto Group, providing detailed explanations of the problems I was experiencing with both the vehicle and the dealership's handling of the situation. Sadly, those efforts did not lead to any meaningful response or resolution. My concerns were largely ignored or brushed aside. The entire experience became extremely stressful. What should have been a straightforward process of addressing legitimate vehicle defects turned into a prolonged battle simply to have my concerns acknowledged. The level of stress caused by these interactions was significant and deeply disappointing, especially considering the reputation Porsche promotes as a premium brand. At one point after a particularly difficult interaction, the stress was so severe that it seriously affected my health and left me feeling physically unwell. No customer should ever feel that level of pressure when simply trying to resolve issues with a vehicle. After nearly two years of ongoing issues, I am simply relieved to no longer have this vehicle. The 2024 Porsche Cayenne that I leased turned out to be one of the most disappointing automotive experiences I have ever had, and the way the situation was handled by the dealership and corporate representatives only made matters worse. In my opinion, the conduct and handling of this situation by certain individuals reflects extremely poorly on the brand. Chris Alvis, Aaron Geiger, and Jeff Stokes have been, in my experience, a significant embarrassment to the Porsche brand and the wider Volkswagen Group. Their handling of this situation demonstrated a lack of professionalism, accountability, and respect for a customer attempting to resolve legitimate concerns. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise other customers to exercise extreme caution when dealing with the individuals mentioned above. During my interactions, I often felt that information was misrepresented or that my concerns were not addressed honestly or transparently. That level of communication breakdown makes it very difficult for a customer to trust that their concerns will be handled fairly. Because of this experience, I cannot recommend Porsche vehicles, Porsche South Shore, or the McGovern Porsche network to others. A luxury brand should stand behind its products and treat its customers with respect and professionalism when issues arise. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I sincerely hope Porsche corporate leadership takes situations like this seriously and carefully evaluates how customer concerns are handled at both the dealership and corporate levels. Experiences like mine ultimately reflect on the entire brand.

They don't inform you when other buyers are interested in a vehicle or if a car has already been sold, displaying a complete disregard for your busy lifestyle. It's as if they assume everyone purchasing a Range Rover has unlimited free time to spare. I encountered a salesperson who seemed inexperienced, despite being told he had been there for five years. He lacked knowledge about the cars and couldn't answer my questions when I first inquired about a specific model. During the test drive, he only demonstrated two out of three driving modes and incorrectly stated that there were only two. Honestly, I should have just purchased the car online myself, as the salesperson seemed unnecessary. Reception answers the phone like you just woke them up at 3am . That's your first red flag After visiting the dealership three times, I was assured my salesperson would be present, but he never showed up. When the car I wanted finally arrived, I put down a deposit since I was going out of town and wanted to secure it. However, they made it difficult to hold the vehicle over the weekend, despite my clear communication about being away. They bombarded me with calls and texts during my trip, insisting on a quick turnaround. When Monday came, I returned early from my travel because they wouldn't hold the car beyond that day. Their priority was clearly to sell cars rather than build meaningful relationships with customers. Despite being a loyal Lexus customer since I was 17 year old , they showed little regard for my history. I had heard warnings about Range Rover and now understand why. Their lack of focus on customer service and relationship-building is disheartening. The showroom itself reflects this neglect, lacking even simple resources like color booklets or live examples of the vehicles. Often, the cars displayed aren't even available. In my attempt to secure financing, I encountered further frustrations. Although I have a history of paying for my vehicles in full and excellent credit , they refused to approve me for a lease, citing my last financing experience was over 7 years ago. Even after bringing in my older sister to cosigner, who had financed 2 g-wagons and a Range Rover, they still denied my application. They blamed the bank for not approving both of us but I think they probably had another buyer who they might of gave them a higher lease number . Overall, I wasted months dealing with this dealership, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Stay Away !!! the reviews aren't lying. To add insult to injury, my salesperson accidentally sent a text intended for the manager directly to me, showcasing just how incompetent they truly were... the text was about me ! And how he shouldn't give me a discount cause I was also shopping at glen cove Range Rover !!!!!!!!! Imagine dealing with these people for 36 months ! They deserve zero stars but yelp doesn't work like that .
