(1 Star) I am extremely disappointed with my experience. I scheduled an appointment with Jasmine Henderson after discussing two specific vehicles that I was interested in purchasing. Prior to my visit, she provided the Carfax reports and confirmed that both vehicles were available. Based on that information, I made the 45-minute drive from the Bronx to Long Island, paying for gas and tolls along the way. Upon arriving, instead of being shown the vehicles I came to see, I was repeatedly pressured to complete a credit application. I explained that I wanted to inspect the vehicles first before discussing financing or submitting any personal information. Rather than honoring that reasonable request, the staff attempted to redirect me toward two completely different vehicles that I had never inquired about and had no interest in purchasing. After standing firm and again requesting to see the vehicles I had specifically made the appointment for, I was eventually informed that neither vehicle was actually ready for sale. Had I been told this before making the trip, I would not have wasted my time, gas, tolls, or nearly an hour of travel. Confirming that vehicles are available, scheduling an appointment, and then revealing upon arrival that the vehicles cannot be shown is unprofessional and misleading. The continued pressure to complete a credit application before even viewing the advertised vehicles only added to the frustration. I cannot recommend doing business with a dealership that operates this way. read more

Constant run around about a specific vehicle. Asking to speak with manager about the ongoing issue multiple times. Only have someone call me about my ongoing 2 month frustration when I post a negative review on Google. Had called back in April about this specific car. Asking to see it, they said it was in transit. called a week later, They said it was still in transit. However, the carfax said that they had worked on it and inspected It. called back another week later, Asking for some details about the vehicle, they said they would call me back and then the automated AI scheduling tool sent me a text message scheduling a showing so I scheduled it for same day. 3 hours later after being on my way, I get a phone call 15 minutes before my appointment: the car was not available to be seen and was not on the premises. The car up until 2 PM this afternoon, was showing available on their website and on third party websites. Only once I posted a negative Google review after speaking with someone did I get the explanation that the car was not up to their standards for sale And that they were returning to the place they bought it from. At any point in the past month and a half they could have reached out to advise it wasn't available, or noted it as unavailable on their site, and taken down the listing. Calling and asking for a sales Manger didn't get me to one, only posting a negative review did. read more

*** WORST EXPERIENCE *** *** PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE *** Be aware when you interact with following : Manny, Safina, Aryana Worst experience with this dealer.. called multiple times to check if vehicles available.. got confirmation and got the appointment and drove 2.5 hrs with tolls to know that there is already deposit on car since one week. Their staff confirms multiple time with manager(Manny) and confirms on phone that vehicle is available but same manager tells other wise after reaching... wasted time money last Sunday too as could not test drive car due to some issue. They haunted me for days to confirm a reservation to see a car- arrived 15 minutes early and the car wasn't there. Waited an hour for the car to show up and it was filthy, was missing letters on the hood ( _ange Rover) and my wife cut her finger on a sharp piece of plastic from the broken center console. I looked at 2 other cars while I waited an hour . Both had shoddy body work that included heavy orange peel, overspray, torn gaskets and missing parts. Horrible experience with trying to purchase a vehicle at this dealership Lucy the manager is a complete idiot With bias undertones! She doesn't honor the integrity of the dealership, she is a con artist who is leading an unlearn staff who is leading customers into financial difficulties so they can make money on the back end from their customer financing! They advertised a car online for $18,995 and I drove two hours to have a look. Found the car, but apparently it first needed to be serviced (front windscreen replacement). Fine, had a quick drive around and so far so good. Then, we got talking about the price: "Oooh, well, no that price is if you trade in a car and if you finance through us". Instead, the actual price of this particular vehicle was well over $22k. I pointed out the price they quoted online, on their own website, but "oh no, I misunderstood", which apparently happened frequently because I was not the first. I then pointed out that if I'm not the first it's basically false or misleading advertising or at the least exceedingly unclear. "Oh, well, that's a different department, I'm only in sales.." Pros: Robert did a good job! We drove in from out of state, and he had everything prepared in advance. While we were en route, he guided us through the application, credit check, and income verification process over the phone, making it all very smooth and convenient. Cons: Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this dealership overall. I believe they engaged in a bait-and-switch tactic. The price quoted to us online and over the phone changed once we arrived, with additional conditions that were never disclosed beforehand or listed online. So I believe, they do deceptive marketing. Additionally, they initially lowballed our trade-in offer by $3,500. It was only after we showed them a competing offer from CarMax that they increased their offer by $2,000. read more

Liars. Frauds. Price on website is only if there is a trade in. Real prices are thousands higher. Saw this in reviews so purposely called ahead to verify and was told the price listed was the price. So drove 2.5 hours to be told that the price is only if we trade in. Please do not waste your time. Garbage people. read more

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at South Shore Mitsubishi while trying to price out a used 2024 Honda CR-V EX-L. The dealership listed the car at a price that seemed reasonable at first glance, but once I arrived, everything fell apart. First, the mileage was misrepresented. Online, the car was listed with 22 miles, but when I got there, the odometer clearly showed 50 miles. Not a huge number, but it immediately raised a red flag about their attention to detail--or worse, their honesty. Next, they tried to price this used vehicle at full MSRP, as if it hadn't taken any depreciation just by driving off the lot. If that's how they value cars, maybe I should have asked for MSRP on my 2004 Honda Accord for a trade-in, right? That logic is absurd. After some back and forth, it turned out that once you add everything up, it was actually cheaper for me to just buy a brand-new 2025 CR-V EX-L elsewhere. I told the salesman I didn't want to waste his time, and if they couldn't work something out, I was fine with walking away. Instead, he had me sit around for another 15 minutes so the manager could come out and tell me the obvious--the price on the website requires financing through them AND a trade-in. Classic bait-and-switch tactic. I don't trust these guys, and I won't be coming back. Feels like they're targeting buyers who are either desperate or willing to accept high financing rates just to get into a vehicle. If you're looking for a straightforward, honest car-buying experience, I'd recommend going somewhere else. read more

WORST PEOPLE EVER. These guys will take your hard earned cash , sell you a car with glaring mechanical issues and laugh in your face when you demand accountability. Ignored my call for 3 days when I found out through my BMW dealership that they sold me a vehicle with a compromised engine ( turbo had a Frankenstein hack job done to it during their possession of the car ). I added a photo of two completely different screws - the black one has no business being anywhere near the turbo , and yet there it was. I also added a video I had a certified BMW technician take for me explaining and showing exactly the total recklessness and absurd standards South Shore Mitsubishi apparently endorses to make a quick buck. When I did get any type of response , the sales manager Khan , essentially diminished my concerns and questions. He didn't take any type of responsibility and deflected from the very beginning DESPITE the VIN history and current evidence. He simply shifted the blame and ignored the facts. "Unprofessional " would be a wild understatement to characterize his approach to this situation. These are professional scammers. Check out their Better Business Bureau reviews and see for yourself. Horrible horrible service, the only plus side was the salesman Luis Martinez, he was amazing, friendly and so helpful. Now for the bad stuff, they did an apparent bait and switch and acted like they didn't know why I got upset, the manager said I couldn't see the finance numbers until I started my insurance policy because it was after their close time of 8pm, I said no cause what if I don't like the numbers you are giving me, then the car was posted for $20,000 by the end of it they tried to say the car is really $23,500 and then the fees from them and some additional bought the total to $30,000. I walked out because why post the car for one price and then add an additional $10,000 on it by the end, post the actual price of the car instead of this "internet price" that is getting people caught up. Amazingly enough, after reading my review, professional scumbag "general manager" Keith - who thinks that no one reads reviews - is now massively concerned about my review, and is making statements to "make (me) take it down". Not going to work that way, Keith. Wouldn't have to be this way if you conducted business with an ounce of integrity. Saying things like "it's sales" is trash... it's not sales, it's lies and deception to enrich yourself. Don't come at us with threats. Also, amazing how you could produce his Driver License MOMENTS after he signed to purchase this lemon, but he would have to "wait until Monday" to get it otherwise. You had to "call someone back" for that? Nah, bro, you're a liar. I was on the phone with him at the time, encouraging him to call the police for retention of his identification. Additionally, in all of my years of buying vehicles? Not a single dealership, even the sketchiest of used car dealers, was transferring a registration prior to a purchase agreement, and sure as heck didn't tap my credit 7 times, and never once before I even got to test drive a vehicle. Woman couldn't tell me how the open recalls on the vehicle I'm looking to purchase will get taken care of. She couldn't tell me why the vehicle failed emissions inspection in July but passed in September. Told me she would forward my information and someone would call me back. That never happened. Worst customer service ever. Possible cash ready buyer from out of state, with simple questions regarding a vehicle at South Shore Mitsubishi. Do not bother to ask for a picture from the inspection because "the car could fall on my technicians, and who's going to be responsible for that". Uhm..... You?? Your dealership? Who even tells a potential customer that. Absolutely comical and a joke of a dealership. Plays the games dealers get a bad reputation for. They make you wait to see the car , let you drive the car take your keys to your car to check it for trade in . Then sit you down and tell you the advertised price is not really what they can sell the car for . This dealer advertises very competitive prices and uses the terms trade assistants and buyer assistants with them display on their site and places like cars.com. Web site make no explanation on how it works on purpose. My particular case they said Im not eligible to the trade assistance (-2500.00) we neve got the chance to talk about buys assistance . The reason they said this was because I paid off my car already , if I still owed even on payment they would lower the price to what they advertised. make no logical sense they would apply a -2500.00 only if I did not have my trade in paid off . Besides that they are trying to be a "Club" with loud dance music blasting that is very distracting in The place is made to look like a cheesy loft chic club atmosphere, surprised the didn't have a bar. So this was my experience with South Shore Mitsubishi .please repost to get the word out. I hope the owner and owners read this and hopefully straighten this out, unless, of course, they know about it also. Absolutely the reason car dealers have a bad name. The typical bait and switch, advertised in several places a 2019 Kia sorento with a convenience package, call several times, spoke to Ashley Gonzalez who confirmed everything with me on the phone. I drove 2.5 hrs from NJ for this vehicle to get there and have Hector. The salesman almost laughed at me when I asked about the vehicle and its accessories. First, the vehicle wasn't even there when I clearly had an appointmen, which was verified several times, was even pre approved for financing to prove I was serious about the vehicle. When Hector told me it must be a typo, I asked why has this vehicle been on there lot for over 4 months? He then said it not a popular vehicle. I asked to speak to a manager and he disappeared never to come back. Had to find someone else to get the manager for m. Afterr another10 minutes, another gentleman showed up to try to convince me it's a typo. I showed him 3 other areas I found this vehic with, e all with different prices. Then the financing manager showed up said he wanted to make it right, after wasting another hrs + of my time, his solution was to try and sell me the stripped down kia they had for the same price as the loaded one. Please stay away from thiso-calleded dealerIt is veryry disappointing and dishonest work practice. Buyer bewa, e stay away read more

I would rather have the IRS examine every test I ever took in school, while a dentist ripped out my large incisors with no novocaine, and a porcupine is rubbed the wrong direction across my nether regions. This is the shadiest dealership I've ever been to. I couldn't tell if I was trying to buy a car or being paperworked into prison. Listen, here's the thing that gets me right. I had Pre approval from captial one. Don't let the "owners response" fool you ( preempting here as I'm sure they'll come to this review and lie ) I had the monthly payment , 0 down, and tax titles and fees. 330 a month. But after being given to 3 different managers before I even got a salesperson, I had a feeling the moment I walked in these people weren't told that haggling is now over in America, the salesperson "shut up honey you'll speak once you're in the kitchen" four square dealing let me talk to my manager crap is over. I'm tired of it. These numbers didn't mean a thing , they started me in the upper 4's before dropping 50 bucks still 70 dollars a month higher than what I asked for. And why can't I get what I ask for? I'm not making it up, you're a capital one partner and they lay out everything. So what gives ? You dealers man, with this greedy by default always trying to squeeze the last drop from whatever you can get. Your manager wore slip one shoes like that made it look like he was about to audition for the starring role of playing Hugh Hefner in the bio pic. So to whoever reads this review, I want you to understand, this places deserves your hard earned money about as much as a Bernie Madeoff GoFundMe campaign. They seem to enjoy sadness, so much so they found a building that keeps out the sunshine. While you may have gone away with a four square sheet, I still know what one looks like when I see one. So again I say, dump hot wax all over my body and rip the paper off with a thousand hands at once, before asking me to ever give this place a good review. Robert and Oliver will scam you. I bought a $77k out the door Audi Exclusive RS7 performance with this dealer. Pics provided below. Do not trust Oliver I believe he is the finance manager. These guys are shady I promise you. Robert the salesman same as well. I was warned about buying a car from this dealership as they are known to do shady deals. I wanted to believe they would handle business like real men would. Real men are simply few and thin nowadays. The car also needed engine mounts. Not a big deal when you're me. But as a customer spending $80k on a car and putting down $30k out of your own pocket.
