Paul Conte Cadillac is the best dealership around. There sales team and service departments are excellent.

The worst car dealership that I have ever encountered I leased a 2025 XT5 in October 2026 and I have brought my car back 3 separate times in April 2026 it the Transmission valve,in August I brought it in for the mold stripping on the driver side door coming a lose and lastly my daughter and I got stranded on Sunrise hwy going to hospital to see my mother the damn car just went dead at the red light waited an hour for a tow truck co affiliated with Paul Conte the Service dept had my car a week before they could even tell me What's wrong with the car,a mechanic from the service dept called me yesterday to tell me my car was ready,I'm fed up I really don't want the Damn car. I'm going to consult a Lemon Law Lawyer this is unexceptable and very bad business read more

Worst car-buying experience we've ever had. Rating is a Minus 5 We purchased a brand-new 2026 Cadillac. Immediately after signing the paperwork, as we got into the car the display screen stopped working. The dealership told us it was a minor issue and also mentioned a small nitrogen-related issue that would be fixed. We're not car experts, so we relied on their explanation and agreed to take the car home, believing those were the only minor issues. The very next day, after taking the car back, the dealership called to tell us the brand-new vehicle also had suspension-related problems that required repair or replacement. Had we known there were multiple mechanical issues beyond the display, we would never have accepted delivery. The real question is: How did a brand-new vehicle with so many issues pass the dealership's pre-delivery inspection and get handed over to a customer? That responsibility should not fall on the buyer. When we asked for a flawless replacement instead of a brand-new car that already needed multiple repairs, we were told, "You signed the paperwork, so it's not our responsibility." To make matters worse, they returned the car by leaving it in our driveway with the key hidden under an outdoor mat, without notifying us, and blocked our driveway. During a three-way call with Cadillac Customer Care, the dealership representative was rude and even hung up. Buyer beware. Don't rely solely on verbal assurances. A brand-new luxury car should not require multiple repairs within 24 hours of delivery. read more

My star rating is actually a NEGATIVE 1star. Service department is HORRIBLE! I made an appointment to have my car serviced, was given an appointment a month out with a loaner because they would need my car for a few days. Lo and behold. I receive a TEXT the morning of my appointment informing me there are no loaners that they are all out with other customers. I asked if they only had 1 loaner due to the fact that this always happens, with me and my daughter. Back and forth with the service department, I said I'll wait two more weeks that a loaner had to be back. 2 weeks later I text them... crickets! I need extensive work on my car, they now lose out on that bill! Save yourself being lied to and go to Sarant Cadillac in Farmingdale. read more

We just walked in to look at a Caddy not one person said hello or if we need help as we where looked and sitting in the vehicle on the showroom floor. The receptionist didn't even say anything when she seen us. Maybe because we are in jeans and a sweatshirt. Never judge a book by it's cover. Paul Conte of Freeport read more

I've had almost every brand of car throughout my life and this was actually the worst experience I've ever had from a dealer service department. The communication was horrible, my car actually came back to me dirtier than when it was dropped off, Inside and out. Stuff in rear of car not put back the way it was found with things broken. And to top it off I never even got a real explanation about why was wrong with my car. Overall I was just truly dissatisfied. read more

I don't even know where to start, Tim and Anthony made this entire process so pleasant and so seamless. The service is literally top tier!! The service is so personal yet so professional. This is the best dealer I have ever worked with! I would recommend them to anyone! read more

Terribly run service dept. Manager Shai is horrible and a flat out liar.My car sits there for over 9 days without being looked at. Guy has a story for everything. After the car is there 9 days and change I had to bring the car back for more photos to be taken for them still not get parts covered with a gm warranty. Go somewhere else. I had to get into a new vehicle because this place couldn't fix my old one properly. Multiple times in dealer for same issues. read more

I've been leasing vehicles for over 20 years and have always taken pride in doing my research, asking questions, and walking away from dealerships feeling respected and valued as a customer. I've leased multiple Cadillacs in the past, and this was supposed to be my third. Unfortunately, my experience this past Saturday at Paul Conte Cadillac was among the worst I've ever had at any dealership, Cadillac or otherwise. I arrived at the dealership at approximately 4:00 PM. I was greeted by Mr. D.B., who initially seemed courteous and professional. We began discussing vehicle options and available deals, and I asked a few standard questions regarding pricing and what incentives I might qualify for. As someone who understands the car business and respects the fact that dealerships need to make a profit, I kept the conversation straightforward and respectful. However, as we went back and forth discussing the numbers and offers, I noticed a change in Mr. D.B.'s demeanor. Rather than continuing the dialogue with the professionalism you'd expect from a luxury dealership, he became noticeably frustrated and dismissive. Phrases like "It is what it is" and "I can't help you" started to surface -- not once, but several times. It felt like he had little to no interest in genuinely working with me to complete a deal or even continuing the conversation. By 5:52 PM, he bluntly said, "The dealership is closing in 8 minutes," and I could tell he was mentally checked out. He already had his lunchbox on the desk and seemed focused more on leaving for the day than serving a customer who was still well within business hours. After a short phone call, I returned and told him I had made a decision to pursue a different vehicle model. At that point, his body language said it all. He grabbed his lunchbox, clearly annoyed at the idea of having to start the pricing process over again. Then he said something completely unprofessional: "Well, you came on Easter." I calmly replied that I do not celebrate Easter and that I came in during regular business hours to make a purchase -- a purchase that, in any other dealership, would have been appreciated. If he had personal plans or obligations that day, he should have either taken the day off or informed me upfront that time would be limited. At the very least, he could have respectfully asked if we could schedule a follow-up appointment -- and I would have gladly agreed. Instead, I was met with a passive-aggressive attitude, a lack of customer focus, and a rush-to-the-door mentality that completely soured the experience. Never have I been made to feel so unwelcome while trying to make a luxury vehicle purchase. Needless to say, I will not be returning to Paul Conte Cadillac, nor will I recommend them to family, friends, or colleagues. Customer service is everything -- and on that front, this dealership failed miserably. read more

I have just purchased my 2nd Cadillac (CTS & XT5) from Patrick McCabe at Paul Conte Cadillac. The first purchase went smooth as silk, and the car is everything Patrick claimed it to be. His hospitality, and no pressure sales approach is the reason I went back for a 2nd car, when it was time to buy. Patrick McCabe is a gentleman, and sets the standard of what every sales person should hope to become. read more

After having a great service experience I decided to see how the sales team was. Pleased to say "outstanding". The sales rep (Dan) was patience friendly and was overly accommodating in searching and finding a vehicle for me. The XT4 has to be the best vehicle I've owned absolutely love it. read more

We needed a new lease as ours was ending. My husband reached out to Paul Conte and was matched with Keith in sales. He was extremely helpful from the moment they connected. Wasn't pushy or aggressive. We had gone to another dealership where we had a terrible experience so this was a breath of fresh air. Keith was knowledgeable, efficient, and honest. The process was so easy and they go the extra mile to make you feel like a valued customer. Cars are so expensive you want to feel good about what you're driving and paying to drive. We leased an XT6 and love it! I highly recommend this dealership! They even sent us home with a cheesecake :). read more

Called to ask if they would have any trouble servicing a 2006 XLR. The person on the other end of the phone was dismissive and actually said"I don't know what you want me to tell you". How about we always do our best to make our customers happy with great service. If the items needed are available we can order them if not we discuss options. Maybe a little about the training the mechanics get , there was a specialty trading for my car actually but never got to ask that. If they don't know how to speak to the public the don't put them on a phone. read more

I am a long time Cadillac customer, having bought a Sedan de Ville and SRX from this dealership over the years. Anyway, two weeks ago I brought in the SRX to have them look at a braking problem.  The car needed some work, but thank goodness for John Cusumano. We sat down and he explained everything that needed to be done. My SRX now runs like new. Thank you John Cusumano!! read more

Great sales - Pat got me into the car of my dreams! And the Service Dept guys are great!

my experience was not and still isn't a good one. I purchased a certified xt4. We live 3 hours away. I found this car on line and made arrangements to go and see it. We test drove it and liked it. We found many scratches and a dented front fender. Our salesman told us they would take care if it. We gave a deposit and were told they did not have the title as it was a lease car. We were told it would be about 3 weeks. We then went back to pick up the car and it happened to be June19 2024,the day their systems were hacked. Couldn't get the car. Noticed the scratches were still on the car. Was told again they would be taken care of. Since we lived so far away we made arrangements to meet halfway to pick up the car when they were able to do the paperwork. We went to the meeting place on the designated date and waited two and a half hours for the car to be delivered. After many calls to the dealership. We were then told they "misplaced " the second key so we only have one. Our salesman said they would get us a key and make arrangements with our local Cadillac dealer to program it. We are still waiting and now they say they can't do that. Now we have to pay $200 to have it programmed if we get it. Be careful what you wish for! read more

Went in for an old change and state inspection. Employee would not take my coupon without printing it out. I emailed it to him. Tried to sell me air filters I replaced a month ago. Living quite a distance from Freeport I was going to local gas stations to find out why my tire was losing air - no puncture no nail ever detected - I finally drove to Paul Conte service Where I always get my cars serviced and was greeted with the kindest team and I knew I would leave there with resolution John C was my advisor, got in the trenches w the service men regarding this problem tire to finally find a tiny nail!!! Caused me stress as the tire would have been flat in a few days if not detected - it's the little things like this that make this place the most wonderful experience every time. Looking around the beautiful and extremely comfortable waiting area (fresh bagels and coffee served daily !) I can see how kind and attentive the whole staff is to their customers. Would never trust any other place with my cars and today just reinforced they are the best in the biz ! Truly professional sales team and I could not resist having a great convo with Tim regarding their new promotions and helping me shop for a new 2023. Highly Recommend Paul Conte ! read more

Car was towed in yesterday morning 4/13/2020 I tried call a few times yesterday and today to get an update , there was no answer I left a few message for a return call and sent an email, no one returned the call.. I understand with all that is going on the staff is short , there is no reason they don't have someone working from home to return call . I need my car to go back and forth to work I'm an essential worker and with them not giving loaner cars out it is difficult to go to work.. All in asking for is a return call so I know how long this is going to take.. Call me back read more

Very bad experience very bad , my car needed shocks replacements and some other related parts to the shocks . They didn't have the parts available, Danny told me they have to order the parts and it will take few days to get it in stock. Then Danny service writer gave me an appointment to take the car back , I took the car back to fix but he told me on the day of appointment we are not able to even look at the car because we are very busy today , I was just shocked they have diagnose the problem with the car and have order the parts week ago and they cannot fix the car because they don't have mechanic available to work on my car because they are very busy with other cars bring it back next week but still cannot guarantee to fix the car on that day as well. Then I spoke with service manager Shai OMG he is a some kind of joke . I have never met some one like him ( so called manager) in a such business . After all I'm very much disappointed . I will not recommend this place for any service, and I will make sure I will report them to GM and in a car show which take place every year where all the companies such as GM Ford Lexus Benz etc. come. After all this I have to find another Cadillac dealership and repeat the protocol to fix my car what a waste of time due Paul Conte Cadillac of free port . I am just surprised with this horrible service . Paul conte employee's are not ashamed what they did to me , Danny and Shai are shameless people. I will keep spreading the bad reviews at any forum . This place is very unprofessional. Salesman couldn't make a sell because I was not ready to get a lease yet. The manager got us a deal. However, when I said " I'm sorry but I'm not ready to do it today" he grabbed my debit card and threw it on the table towards me and my wife. He then proceed to take the papers where we had the notes and also threw it to the receptionist. If I ever consider getting a lease from Cadillac, it won't be at this dealer. read more

Terrible Service Department. I had a 10:30 AM appointment of which I arrived 10 minutes early. The service drive was empty, no greeter, I wasn't even greeted or assisted. There were 2 service writers that looked busy and oblivious at the same time. I waited around about 30 minutes before I decided to leave. There were also several disgruntled customers in the waiting room, I felt so bad for those ladies. This experience turned me off from this dealership. I bought my XT5 from Paul Conte & was hoping for the same great experience I had in Sales but they made up my mind quick. I have Mercedes, BMW & Lexus. All of their service departments are top notch. I'm sure this will get a generic response from the dealer asking me to call them to review this matter but don't bother wasting my time. read more

I cant say enough about John C in the service department. He is caring and honest and treats you with respect like family. He went above and beyond to make sure all my cars service needs were thoroughly met in a timely manor. If you want to feel like your Cadillac family with no B.S. then ask for John C. Everyone else in the service department seems eager to please and sounds like they care when your sitting back and listening to everything going on there. The girls that work at the service office desk are super sweet to deal with and we know they get a bad rap sometimes bc they deal with a million calls a day and tons of paperwork. Cant ask for more with Paul Conte Caddy service if you ask me. read more

Yesterday we went to Paul Comte Cadillac in Freeport for a test drive on a XT4. From the moment we walked into the showroom we were highly impressed. Greeted by Debbie as if we were regular customers, you had the feeling that you wanted to purchase a car there. Our salesperson, Nelson Galeano, was very professional. Nelson explained to us all the benefits of the XT4 in a way that we were able to understand and peaked our interest in the model. After the presentation and test drive the General Manager, Mary Young, came over and thanked us for our stopping by and seeing the car. Although we did not purchase the car at this time, Paul Conte Cadillac will definitely be a dealer we would go back to. read more

Had all necessary paperwork to PROVE it. "IF YOU BOUGHT THE CAR HERE WE WOULDNT HAVE HAD THIS PROBLEM." - John Paul Conte Freeport. absolutely horrible horrible place of business. Your. Dealership. Unfortunately. That's not how it works. Looking at previous comments. This is an ongoing trend. Can't wait for my mediocre reply. IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNER. Sir, your employee didn't offer these services till AFTER I called corporate. And got them to give me to tow for free. After explaining that your facility was where I was DEEMED to go. I had no option. You guys had me backed into a wall. I got towed there by Cadillac. He also DID not have the tire. ALSO did not OFFER ME ANY ASSISTANCE. I told him I had the All the paperwork you required. He responded with. " we are like a McDonald's. They are all the same name. But are all separate." Took my Cadillac here to get serviced, got the check engine light and traction warning, low engine power, needless to say I was in trouble. Skeptical to come to another Cadillac dealership after my not so good visit to the location in Farmingdale, man was I surprised. Completely different in every way, and in a good way. Tommy in service was very helpful in getting my car back up and running, had to leave it overnight so I got a loaner from enterprise down the street. Next day early afternoon I got a call from Tommy saying my car was ready to go. Got to the dealer again, this time having to check in my loaner with Christine, in the service office. Friendly service, pleasant to talk to, just an all around great experience. I made an appointment to get my free one year inspection and I asked the girl over the telephone to give me a time where I could get in and out. When I got there, Ryan - the guy there told me I'd have to leave the car, they are too busy. When I called their customer service number, the first girl gave me the run around about being too busy, then when I asked her for the Corporate Number to file a complaint, she passed me off to some rude lady, then she passed me off to some other guy - they were afraid to give me the corporate number. I looked it up and called to file a complaint myself. I drove 18 miles to get a free $10 inspection that I was promised. I am glad I went because if they can't provide a simple $10 inspection at the time we agreed, then what hassle would I get for a larger amount of $$$? Not only does their service suck, every one I came in contact with gave me the same line of excuses. They are well versed. Obviously, I will NEVER go back and suggest you do the same.
