I drove the car home and found the damage when I stepped out. I checked my dash cam footage and it shows Chino hitting an object inside their mess of a shop. They refused to provide their garage liability insurance provider and they will be pursued in court and reported to the DMV. They also don't know how to do a wheel alignment but they gladly take your money for one.

I brought them my 17-year-old Lexus LS 600h, which had definitely seen better days. The paint was peeling on the roof rail, and there were dings and scratches on the hood, roof, moldings, and side panels, years of wear showing loud and clear. I also needed the moonroof hatch removed and restored, the color perfectly matched, clear coated, sanded, and buffed. What I got back looked like it had just rolled off the showroom floor. I'm talking jaw dropping, head turning, impossibly pristine. The paint match was flawless. The finish is like glass. They even restored and clear coated my headlights, which had yellowed with age. Dave recently solved a nagging but known problem with my son's '15 Infiniti Q40. The car would take on water every time there was a steady rain. My son had taken his car to several mechanics but the problem was never resolved. Apparently the leak was a known problem with Infiniti's sunroof drain system. The outlet would easily get clogged by dirt and falling debris. Rather than simply blowing out the dirt and debris with a water or air hose like the other mechanics my son used, Dave was the only one who thought outside the box and re-ran the sunroof drain lines from both sides of the sun roof and connected the two hoses into one using a T valve and running the one single drainage hose out the car via the AC outlet. Happy to report that it's been 6 or 7 months now and the car which is parked uncovered in my driveway full-time, is now bone dry even after some very heaviest days of rain.

Around Feb of 2020, my vehicle was involved in an accident on Old Country Road in Westbury. The…read morepolice responded to the scene, prepared a report, and arranged for a tow truck. The tow truck was from Bodyworks Unlimited. A short time later, I went to Bodyworks Unlimited to see my vehicle and assess the damage, as I had not seen it since the accident. I did not have comprehensive insurance, and after reviewing the repair estimate, I decided I was not willing or able to pay for the repairs out of pocket at that time. While I was in the office, the gentleman working there gave me permission to remove my vehicle from the shop and handed me the keys. After receiving the keys, I contacted AAA to arrange a tow to bring my vehicle back to my storage location. Approximately two days later, I received a phone call from Bodyworks Unlimited stating that I owed them money for the tow. This was confusing to me, as there was no mention of any towing fee or payment owed when I was in the office. A few days later, the tow truck driver went to the location where my vehicle was being stored at the time, which was a property I had rented solely for storage purposes and did not reside at. He spoke with someone present in an attempt to collect $285 for the tow; however, I was not there at the time. Several days after that, while I was at work, two men entered the property and went into the backyard area where I was in the process of disassembling my vehicle and had various damaged parts laid out. They then contacted me by phone, stated that there was still an outstanding balance, and claimed they had taken something from my vehicle that would render it inoperable. At the time, I did not understand what they meant. However, after reviewing the security camera footage and checking the parts at the yard, I realized they had taken two of my stock turbochargers, apparently as collateral. They were unaware that both turbos were already blown and unusable, so they had no value to me. Based on this experience, I strongly suggest staying away from this business. If they were willing to do something like this, it raises serious concerns about what else they might be willing to do.

So I said I just want an oil change and nothing more. Fine. I go and pick up my car and I notice that:  A) They placed the next oil change sticker with 2K miles more than it should have on it  B) 30 minutes later I get another call from the guy saying my oil pan is leaking and I have some other issues...and as I inform him my car isn't there anymore and picked up, he hangs up on me. Shady business practices, don't bother going here for any car issues.
