They sent a technician out within an hour, who found a leak and observed it dripping. I have pictures and videos with the technicians. However, they had difficulty locating the leak, initially suspecting several different places. They shut off the water supply and replaced the bucket. Since the walls were damaged and moldy, they sent someone out who is not affiliated with the company. This individual noticed the damage and cut out sheetrock on two sides to remove the rapidly spreading mold. He managed to remove most of the mold, but not all of it. Consequently, I now have a large hole from my garage to my children's bedroom. Dustin sent an insurance adjuster., visited the scene to review the damage. Several weeks passed, and I had left several messages for him. Finally, he called back today and informed me that they are not expecting responsibility because they tested the jug and could not find any leak. Nevertheless, I have pictures and videos with the technicians showing the leak! Therefore, we have been exposed to dangerous mold for an extended period. I now have no choice but to involve my attorney and pursue legal action against the company and everyone involved, including the individual Dustin sent to repair the leak who left significant holes. After speaking with him, they have yet to even pay him. Customers should be cautious and aware that this company does not provide adequate product support. I will fully sue them to serve as a warning and prevent similar situations from occurring in the future, especially since I have all the evidence. Updating after their response. I typically like to keep my good contractors to myself but Miguel and his son started their own business a year ago after working for other plumbing companies for 21+ years. I called and spoke with Sherry Dorsey after noticing salt underneath my water softener container. She told me it was probably cracked and scheduled a technician to come out and take a look. I asked what it might be, and she again mentioned it could be a crack but said the technician would need to inspect it to confirm. When the technician arrived, I was on a company call, so my son opened the garage and allowed him to inspect the unit. The technician told my son he would take a look, which was completely fine. About 20 minutes later, he handed my son an invoice for $368. My son told me the technician never provided a quote or discussed the cost before completing the repair--he simply gave him the bill. I called Sherry to ask why I was never given a quote before the work was done. Her response was, "Why didn't your son ask how much it would cost? That's what I would have done." In my experience, reputable companies typically provide a quote before performing repairs, without the customer needing to ask. To be clear, I told her I had no issue paying for the service. I simply asked if she could reduce the bill by $68 so we could split part of the labor cost since no quote was provided beforehand. She was very difficult about it and repeatedly insisted that no one had ever questioned their services. I asked one final time if she could reduce half the labor, and if not, I would just pay the full amount. She eventually agreed to charge $300 but stated that they would never perform repairs or services for us again. Considering I originally purchased my water softener from them, the entire interaction was extremely disappointing. It wasn't about avoiding payment--it was about basic communication and customer service. Unfortunately, the way this situation was handled left a very negative impression.
