Adrian and his digging crew came an hour earlier than expected at 8 am and finished at past 1 pm. I'm very pleased with the installation of my E-2000 from Kind Water Systems. He briefly explained to me what he did and what I have to do, which is basically nothing, except to call him if there's any problem or when the sediment filter has to be replaced next year. There's just one thing that I noticed. The cover for the water drain was missing. I'm not sure if the guys who worked on the water drain misplaced it I texted Adrian about it as soon as I noticed it was missing a few hours after he left, but I haven't heard back from him. My house has a water softener hookup in the laundry room, in a rather tight space. I got estimates from a few water softener companies, but they either didn't think they could fit a water softener at all, or they said they could but it would take up a lot of space and interfere with my dryer. Then came Andy, possibly the most cheerful and optimistic contractor I've ever had the pleasure of working with. Unlike the other contractors who seemed beholden to installing only specific units, Andy put a lot of creativity into the setup and plumbing, selecting a resin tank and a brine tank with just the right size and shape to squeeze into the corner. I would have been happy if I could have opened my dryer door halfway, but he got it to where I could open the door all the way to 90 degrees! No need to move my washer or dryer anywhere, and barely any space lost. Even better, his cost of installation came in a tad below the other estimates (which were all very close in price). Then about a year later, I noticed a couple of "issues" with some water stains on my fridge and black soot coming out of my garden hose. Turns out neither had anything to do with the water softener, but Andy diagnosed the softener anyway to be sure. If you have any water softener or water conditioning issues, this is the company to call. I tried many places and am so glad I found this company. My water softener, which is 7 years old, started to have some issues where the resin was deteriorating (and finding its way into my house plumbing....I could see traces in the toilet tank). I called many companies that told me that they could not repair it and wanted to sell me a brand new one. I was so lucky to find this company. When I spoke to Melody over the phone and explained my predicament of whether my softener could be fixed (versus purchasing a new one), she assured me that my softener could be repaired and that I could get more life out of it. I thought they were really honest, since they also sell new systems and at no point did I feel pressured into buying a new softener. On the day of the appointment, Austin came to service my softener. He patiently listened to me and then quickly got to work. A short while later, Andy also came. In addition to changing the resin with a new high quality one, they also noticed that some rubber was deteriorating and falling into the tank and said that the main controller/valve might be the next thing that would fail. They did tell me that they couldn't say how long it would last and they did not try to persuade me to replace it. But, I decided to change it anyway to avoid problems down the road. Overall, Austin pretty much cleaned the entire softener and brine tank and replaced the innards and the electronics/controls with brand new equipment. I also purchased, from them, a pre softener filter to remove the chlorine/chloramine that was causing the resin to deteriorate sooner than it should. I also purchased, from them, a post softener filter that would help identify any issues in the future. I had a great experience and would highly recommend this company. read more

We just moved to the Texas hill country and had no idea what was required to treat the hard water, all we knew was that our realtor had told us that we needed to soften it. There are few people that actually deserve five stars and Andy is one of them. Several months ago he helped me put in a reverse osmosis system and it was a real trick to try and get a water line from the kitchen island to the cabinets to reach the fridge. I had a crazy idea for a solution and Andy jumped right into the crazy with me and by the skin of our teeth, pulled it off. I can't tell you how thrilled I was and how much I appreciated Andy thinking outside the box with me to find an innovative solution. On top of that, I had a bit of a crisis with a leaky water line in my RV and I didn't know who else to call so I reached out to Andy and since he was in the area, he dropped by really quick and offered me some help and advice and I was able to fix the problem and get it out to a renter before then going out of town myself. And we got all fancy and also bought the extra UV light, in case some bacteria survived the other filters and wanted to have a blacklight Rave To The Death. I put out feelers to many plumbers, via Yelp and NextDoor. Many never responded The rest gave estimates of just below $3,000.00 and just above $3,000.00 One big company that I wanted to use, as they had done work here before gave me an estimate of $3,237.50!!! (Shhhh... it was Stan's) THE ENTIRE AQUASANA SYSTEM only cost me $2,000.00! Their first estimate was poorly written, and, unbelievably, with no breakdown of parts and labor I wrote them multiple times to get a true estimate and it took days. I won't go into all their specifics but it was just ridiculous. ...OK, if you insist, here are some of them: $1500.00 in labor ($250/hr X SIX HOURS for a licensed plumber)! $800.00 in materials! The materials would have been: a piece of 2" x 4" to hang it all away from the wall. Not even a whole sheet of plywood They wanted to charge $187.50 for "Plywood Floor Replacement" Um, we don't have a plywood floor. That was for a PIECE of a plywood sheet The materials they would have had to supply (considering that the Aquasana system COMES WITH ALL FITTINGS NEEDED) would have some teflon tape, some adapters, some PVC or PEX , etc etc That total cost would have been MAYBE $70.00 - $100.00 And that's RETAIL PRICE And having to also pay an ASSISTANT $750.00 (Uh, Billy, hand me that wrench)... Anyway, i'm feeling sick all over again from even writing this. I then posted on NextDoor for a recommendation from neighbors and, thank god, someone wrote back and recommended ANDY MOORE. He had recently put in an Aquasana System for him and he gave Andy high praise! So I called Andy and explained it all He told me he had lots of experience putting them in and then told me the total cost to do the ENTIRE job. I had to ask him to repeat it... as it was CONSIDERABLY LOWER than everyone else's estimates ...Like SIX TIMES LOWER!!!! I asked him to hold on, and I glugged some Vodka to calm my nerves SO the big day comes and he arrives, with his nice young assistant and gets down to work. He assures me he likes to work neatly and will make it in a small 'footprint', instead of spreading it out over 5 or 6 feet across the wall as everyone else does, and still have all changeable parts easily accessible! I had purchased a Fleck water softener system for my new construction home that was pre-plumbed for a water softener intending to install it myself. After deciding it was too much of a project for me, I got some quotes to get it professionally installed. Most companies I called wanted me to buy their own equipment and charge me around $2000 to install it. Then I found Andy's company. He came out right away to assess what I had and said he could install it for FAR less than what the others were quoting. I hired him on the spot. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!! We Andy from Home Water Conditioning come to our house for a complete removal and reinstallation of an extremely old and leaking Reverse Osmosis system and we could not be happier with his work, his patience with our 500 questions, his knowledge and professionalism. The RO system we had was original to the house and had started leaking all over the floor. I called Andy on Saturday morning, based on his reviews, and he came over within 30 minutes and quickly disconnected the system from the water supply and helped drain the water that was in it so it did not continue to leak. He then sat down with us, discussed all our options for repair or replacement, answered all our questions and did not try to up-sell us on anything. After my husband and I chose to replace it, Andy scheduled an appointment that was convenient for ME and my schedule.
