When I say they're the best, I'm not exaggerating. I called them because I had a clogged toilet that we couldn't unclog. Turns out, we had roots in our pipe and needed them to dig under our house and replace the pipes. They used a camera and showed me the roots, then took pictures every step of the way, later showing me my extremely clogged pipe. Johnny and David were professional, responsive, and willing to work around my schedule. But that's not actually the reason I'm leaving this review... While they were here, Plumbing Wizard Johnny Rivera asked me, "Do you have anything else you need help with?" So I told him about my ongoing issue with pipes banging that no one had been able to solve. I'd had five plumbers to my home trying to solve the issue, and no one could figure it out. This one would suggest this, that would would suggest that, but it never got better. Johnny asked me to make it happen, then ran around my house, inside and out to isolate the noise. (No one did that before). It took him to the street where he said that my pressure relief valve was making a horrible noise and should be replaced. I'd had it replaced before, but it hadn't solved the issue. Still, he said they needed to be replaced every 5-8 years if you have hard water (which I do) so I decided to go ahead and do it. While he was out there, he found that I had TWO pressure relief valves, like at some point, someone had put one in and just not looked to see if there was a second one. After that, he adjusted the pressure coming into my house. THE BANGING DISAPPEARED. This was YEARS of stress that he solved for me in one day. A new banging started when my washing machine turned on with hot water, but I knew why. Years ago, I'd had a slab leak, and the plumbers who fixed that rerouted the pipes through my ceiling but didn't fasten them to anything. I called back and Johnny and David came and fixed that too. They had to cut a hole in my ceiling to get to the pipes, but they were very concerned about not making a mess, and they fastened the drywall back into my ceiling for me. Now my house is utterly silent when the water runs and my toilet works great. These guys CARE about their job, which is so refreshing in a world of cynics. If you need excellent plumbing work, these are your guys. read more

If you want to spend $3750 on a plumbing repair, this is the company for you. My pool company diagnosed where the plumbing leak was. But, Good Clean Plumbing charged me $1200 to find the leak, which ended up being in the location diagnosed by my pool company. Good Clean Plumbing punched five holes in my walls in the process, which cost me additional money to repair my walls. Then they charged $2550 to fix the leak. Let me set the stage for you regarding this leak. The leak was in the slab of a 10' x 10' building. Good Clean Plumbing charges a flat fee for diagnosing the leak and another flat fee for fixing the leak. This is what you need to understand. I did not, so be forewarned. read more

I haven't paid this company a single cent yet, and already they've done more for me than some "professionals" I've interacted with in the past. Dan, a master plumber from GC-Plumbing, reached out to me directly after hearing about a problem I was having with my shower. Instead of dismissing me or telling me to hire a plumber right away (like a certain big-name plumbing supplier did), Dan actually listened to my description, reviewed my photos and videos, and brainstormed solutions with me -- all without rushing the conversation or making me feel like I was wasting his time. He walked me through possible causes, explained why certain theories didn't add up, and even suggested specific local supply shops that might be able to help me track down the right part. His approach gave me the confidence to keep troubleshooting and, most importantly, the reassurance that I was actually on the right track. In an industry where it's all too common to feel talked down to, Dan was refreshingly respectful, encouraging, and generous with his knowledge. I'm still working on resolving my issue, but thanks to Dan's advice, I'm much better prepared -- both for this repair and for future home maintenance. If this is how GC-Plumbing treats someone who isn't even a paying customer yet, I can only imagine how great the service will be when I do need to hire them. Absolutely top-notch professionalism, patience, and kindness. Highly recommended. read more

Amazing service. They are my plumbing service from now on. Very professional, reasonable price and very easy communication.

We have been using Honest Air and Plumbing since 2016 for both our HVAC and plumbing needs. However, over the past few years, we have noticed a decline in the quality of their service. We discovered that a major corporation had bought them out. After a day of searching for local small businesses, we found Good Clean Plumbing to handle our three tankless water heaters, and for our HVAC needs, we found The AC Guy of ATX. Both companies exceeded our expectations. Our service technician, John, from Good Clean Plumbing, did an excellent and thorough job. The costs were lower than what we were paying to Honest Air and Plumbing, and we are now enrolled in their maintenance program. Similarly, we received outstanding service from Anthony, the owner of The AC Guy of ATX. Anthony is honest and does not try to upsell any unnecessary services. We are now on a maintenance program with The AC Guy of ATX, which is more affordable than the maintenance program offered by Honest Air and Plumbing, and the service quality far surpasses what we experienced with them. Both Good Clean Plumbing and The AC Guy of ATX are local small businesses, and we are happy to support them. In return, we receive significantly better service at better prices. read more

Seth and David were awesome servicing my grinder pump. A few plumbers came but they were the real deal! Highly recommend!

Our grinder pump failed late on a Friday, and I was worried we'd be stuck without help all weekend. I called Good Clean Plumbing, and to my surprise, the president Eric came by right away to take a look. He assessed the issue himself and was able to get Johnny out the next morning to get it serviced and working again. They were incredibly professional, prompt, and didn't charge a travel fee like other local businesses do. Their pricing was very reasonable, and above all, they were honest and ethical throughout the entire process. If you're in Lago Vista and need reliable plumbing services, I highly recommend Good Plumbing. I'll definitely be using them again if the need arises. read more

Super knowledgeable about pumps, panels, and does a great job explaining how they work. Highly recommend these guys.

GC just came out to replace a failing water heater. I usually review restaurants, but I was pleased enough to come tell you about it. Here is what my experience was like: - fast response to my request for quote with the best price and warranty - ongoing communication with the owner and thorough answers to my questions while making my decision between plumbers - an update that they could come earlier than expected - close to appt a text where I could track my plumbers en route! - once on premises I showed the guys around and Chris answered my many questions. Then he asked if I needed anything else while they were here (well trained service and a win win) - job was done quickly and cleanly and they also fixed up some outdoor hose bibs that needed love (thank you!) I'm not somebody who loves spending money on plumbing, but I was pleasantly surprised. I'd use them again (but hopefully not for a long time!) P.S. I almost passed on them because they don't have a lot of Yelp reviews, but if you look a few other usual places you'll find I'm not the only satisfied customer. read more

the dynamic duo of chris and austin came to my home recently to fix my clogged toilet, and unfortunately came to the conclusion (what i suspected) that i needed a new toilet. they went back out into the heat of the day to get my lovely new throne and installed it that afternoon. they were very professional, keeping everything as neat and clean as possible and cleaning everything up when finished, removing all trash (although chris did jokingly ask me if i wanted to keep my old toilet to use in the front lawn as a planter!). they even put on booties over their shoes every time they entered my home. they are also very pleasant and enjoyable and easy to be around, and to communicate with, and chris does explain all options so that you can make an informed choice (i had several toilet choices-there are some pretty fancy ones out there!). both chris and austin have a great sense of humor so even though i hope i never see them again, if i do need a plumber i'm definitely calling good clean plumbing, and i'm definitely requestiong chris and austin! read more
