Highly experienced professionals

Spot-On Plumbing did an excellent job for us. Their specialized leak detection equipment and their highly experienced plumbers determined the location of our slab leak and completed the reroute of new piping efficiently. Prompt professionals that get the job done.

When your tree was planed on top of the sewer line.

Woke one morning to a pool of water around our drain clean-out. We called Spot-On Plumbing, who came within hours and used cameras to diagnose the issue, which was a 30-year-old crepe Myrtle tree sending its roots through the pipe. AND it was planted directly over the sewer line. The Spot-On team had to route the new pipe around the tree since the line was impossible to reach. This was a difficult job and they took amazing care of us. THANK YOU Spotty-On! Don't call anyone else for plumbing issues!

New water heater. Changed from gas to electric

First, you should know that in 2024, to buy a basic 50 gallon tall water tank heater and have it installed starts at a price of about $2,000 and goes up from there. I got about 5 different estimates, and they didn't vary more than a hundred bucks from one another. If you buy your water heater at a big-box store then hire the plumber to install it, the total charge is almost exactly the same. I was shocked at how much they cost today as the last one I purchased was about 10 years ago and it cost about 1,200.00 then with installation. So with that said, there are no "cheap" plumbers around. But if you want great customer service that goes above and beyond average, Spot-On Plumbing was amazing. I decided to buy the heater from them as well so I didn't have to do anything. They will come to your home to give you an estimate, but I didn't think that was necessary so I sent them photos of the heater and told them it was a "tall" gas heater." They show up the next day and turns out it was not a tall gas heater, it was a short one. They also said that the new short gas heater was a lot larger round due to all the extra insulation the government requires now. That meant the short one would NOT fit through the closet door! My mistake for telling them it was a tall heater, but it looked tall to me. Fortunately, I happened to already have a 240 volt electrical outlet there and they had an electric water heater that would fit the space without having to do anything but remove the exhaust going to the roof vent since electric heaters don't have to be vented. So they had to make an extra trip back to Round Rock to exchange the heaters. When they got back they had the new water installed, the gas capped off from the old gas heater, and new supply lines run in a very short time. If you need a water heater, and you need it installed, then you can't beat them for price They came right the next morning and we had hot water again in no time. They also removed the old water heater as well. Just remember that no matter who you call, the opening price right now is pretty much $2,000 - $2,100 for the basic water heater including installation.N

Lorenzo replaced the rusted plumbing for our on-demand water heater including a shutoff for the flush kit which no longer worked. His job was quick, neat and much more professional looking. I would definitely use Spot-on Plumbing's services in the future.

Sad. First plumber said $175 but is booked out. These folks said $1500. Polite and professional though.

Honestly the work is good...as it should be from a master plumber…read more The issue I have is the issue I've had with literally every plumber ever. They've got you over a barrel when they come out and start throwing parts. This was an install of a drop in kitchen sink and faucet. He told me his hourly rate was 135 bucks. I was expecting to spend about 400 maybe 500. The final bill was 850. I feel I was overcharged on both the parts and labor. He charged me starting 45 min before he got there but still included a "truck charge." The removal and replace of the sink took 2 hours. To me the "clock" starts on the labor at the agreed upon arrival time. When I'm getting charged 439(!) bucks for parts on top of the sink and faucet itself, that extra charge for labor is quite unwelcome. I mean the sink and faucet itself that were "nice" were like 500 bucks. So almost that again just in parts. ‍ His answer in general as I look at these reviews is that he buys his parts from a plumber supply not Home Depot etc. I would have to research each individual part to see if its price point is "fair". A perusal of solid brass fittings and pvc p traps on the Lowe's site shows the price I paid was about doubled. He acted quite insulted that I wouldn't know just how much better his parts were and implied they were all but unavailable at big box stores. literally doubling what I expected to pay was quite a shock to say the least. It is what it is. If I was able to do it myself, I would've. Live and learn Learn a trade kids lol

O & M Plumbing Services - Broken drain line in slab

Exceptional O & Plumbing Service Experience…read more I highly recommend O & M Plumbing for any plumbing needs. In particular, Chris F. has consistently demonstrated exceptional skill and professionalism on every project of mine. His attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship set him apart as a truly outstanding plumber. Project Background I recently purchased an older home, full of charm and distinctive bathrooms. However, I encountered a leak in the master shower that required the p-trap under the shower drain to be replaced before new tile work could be completed. My concern was that reconnecting the new p-trap to the antique cast iron drains in the foundation might cause the cast iron to crumble. Chris F.'s Approach and Solutions Chris came to the rescue, using a camera down the drain to evaluate the situation. He explained the difference between what was probable and what was possible, providing two bids: one for the probable good case and one for the possible problem case. Having used Chris before with excellent results, I trusted his methods, which are always the least intrusive and focused on effective access. In the worst-case scenario, Chris would need to cut and excavate a 2' x 2' hole in the foundation around the shower drain, then tunnel no more than five feet under the foundation from that access point to secure a solid connection to the iron drainpipe. In the best-case scenario, he would only need to excavate a 2' x 2' hole around the shower drain to replace and secure the new p-trap. He also showed me pictures of his past work for reassurance. Successful Outcome Fortunately, the best-case and probable case prevailed. While fixing the p-trap, Chris also discovered an unrelated drain leak under the foundation, which he repaired at no extra charge. I felt I received excellent value for the service provided. Professionalism and Work Quality Chris left the work site clean, as he has always done in the past. He and his co-worker collaborated well, using a small and quiet jackhammer designed specifically for plumbing foundation work. The new drain looks beautiful, and I can confidently proceed with the new tile work, knowing that the unseen part of the shower is sound and affordable. Appreciation Thanks to O & M Plumbing for introducing me to Chris F. and Mike. Both are good and considerate professionals, and I am grateful to have them working in my home.

They clearly explained the issue and gave us two options: a quote to replace just the P-trap and a separate quote to replace all the pipes since the cast iron was corroding. What stood out was that there was absolutely no pressure to upsell. They took the time to answer questions and let us decide what made sense for our situation (we chose to replace all the pipes). They were responsive, courteous, and showed up on time. The work was done efficiently and professionally. A big shout-out to Andrew, Landen, and Ben--they were fantastic to work with and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. We'll definitely be using O&M Plumbing again and would highly recommend them.
