While on another job my plumber, Jason, pointed out that my water softener was likely not performing at peak performance. He gave me a no pressure quote and let me be. I pulled my finances in order and easily booked an appointment with the very friendly office staff. I received text updates, including a picture of the person to expect, which I appreciate. Eddie was my plumber for the water softener replacement. He did an awesome job, explaining what he was doing. And he pointed out that my water heater had started to leak. Awesome. The job turned out to be more expensive- replacing a water heater isn't exactly chump change- but I was able to get financed without issue- do check how much the finance company offers you- it may be significantly more than the quote, but you'll be on the hook for whatever amount you sign for. The financing is through another company so not a reflection on Rooterman-Flawless- just be mindful how much you're signing up for as a loan! Edie very patiently waited for me to unfreeze my credit and get the financing lined up. He also obliged me turning up the water heater a few degrees as I like to shower like I'm a lobster destined for dinner. I was really glad to get two jobs done in one day. I needed a new toilet so I purchased one at Lowe's and brought it home. I used Yelp to get some quotes on installing it and.Rooterman Plumbing was one of the plumbers that responded immediately with a quote. Their quote was competitive and since I had used Rooeormanss before, I asked them to send a plumber over as soon as possible. Within 20 minutes the Rooterman plumber arrived at my front door! That is no exaggeration! The plumber's name was Eddie, the same plumber that had worked at my house previously. Eddie is a very personable young man that is easy to work with and seems very honest. He did an excellent job installing the replacement toilet and making sure everything worked properly. He cleaned up his mess and removed all the old materials from the job and left us very satisfied.. They are very highly recommended! read more

My first experience with Rooterman was by referral from Austin Rooter who pumped out my septic system of a home I just purchased. I had an independent company assess the septic system and they recommended risers be installed since the tank had settled and is now about 12 inches below grade. Additionally, one of the lids was missing and having an open hole was a safety hazard. Rooterman came and assessed what was needed, ran to supply house and by afternoon I had two brand new risers with lids! They also had some recommendations on the leach field and maintenance, and they were kind enough to quote that work before leaving. Additionally I had a plumbing issue on the pool and reached out. Good customer service but their markup is extremely high so I would recommend getting a second opinion before proceeding. I was charged $250 to replace an emergency shut off valve. The cost of new ones online are about $12. They also charged a flat $30 fee for parking. The parking in front of our place is $6 for two hours. read more

Our water heater started spraying water into the garage and since it was over thirteen years old, we figured it was time to replace it. We called another plumbing company first because they were listed on the home improvement store's website. They gave us a time slot, but then didn't show. Turns out if I'd checked Yelp I would have saw they had an average two star review and a lot of negative reviews about scheduling. We called Rooterman Plumbing next. It was after hours so we were put on the list for the on-call plumber, but told they might not get to us that night if they were already busy. That was all fine. The next morning we got a text asking if we still needed a plumber and were able to schedule an appointment that morning. Josh showed up at the promised time. He confirmed that it was time for a new water heater. He then took the time to talk through and price out the options. Once we agreed on the water heater to get, he and his assistant were able to get the new one installed and the old one removed that day. I appreciate that he not only got the new one installed but made sure to fix up any problems he found. There was a PRV failure at my rental property and I asked Rooterman Plumbing to go out and find out what the issue is. They did discover the issue correctly but they added so many unsolicited suggested repairs (e.g. installing a new water heater, changing the faucets in kitchen and bathroom) that was clear a rip off. I would not recommend trusting their quotes. I went with another company with a much cheaper quote (for same service) In addition to this there is a major communication issue with this company. In my request I stated that I will be in meetings and can respond to text but not calls. The plumber at the job site called me and texted me but I could not text or call him back. Texts got rejected and calls got routed to their office. So I had to keep messaging the office and they keep asking me when he can call me. read more

Collen came out the day after my service call to remedy a leaning water heater that had been installed that way by another employee 18 months ago. He designed a clever way to fix the problem by going beneath the platform and using some support 2x4's. Our toilet was slow to flush. Rooterman Plumbing came out the day after Christmas as we requested. Their appointment process was clear and straightforward. Eddie arrived promptly, assessed the situation and outlined avenues he could take to remedy the situation, as well as their associated costs. After we chose the avenue we would like to take, he efficiently completed the work, taking care with our home in the process. As it turns out, a ceramic votive holder had been flushed down the toilet and the repair he originally suggested was the correct one. While it was a somewhat costly repair, it was necessary. Pro tip: don't place small objects over your toilet, they just might get flushed. read more

I had a couple months of high water bills and couldn't isolate the leak. Called Rooterman to take care of the issue largely based on their website. I definitely made the right decision! Misty (the sweetest person ever) answered and took care of the scheduling and had the guys out to see me quickly and efficiently handled the billing. Curtis Kurka was the tech who showed up and his years of experience made obvious the he was the right man for the job. He took his time diagnosing my issues and went through every potential culprit prior to telling me that I needed a new main line to the house. I knew what I was in for, so I called Misty back and requested Curtis to do the work. Curtis and his apprentice Shane Walters showed up the next business day to do the work. They use this cool text system notifying you the guys are enroute, shows a photo of the tech, a bit about themselves, and even tracking. Curtis and Shane got to work straight away and didn't waste any time. They made sure to manage expectations and kept a very clean work area. I had the chance to talk with Curtis and Shane a bit while they were on the job and I can tell you that not only are they great guys, but these are the pros you want working on your property. I was very impressed with Shane's knowledge, work ethic, and his desire to progress in the field. Curtis knowledge is just awesome and feels like a buddy from minute one. As I know a bit about plumbing and construction, I can tell you the work was done very well and at or above code.
