I had already planned for a 5 day vacation starting on Juneteenth and that day didn't work for me. It's been over 5 weeks now and we are using bottled water for drinking. In my case, Tim's response often was "people have been waiting for 2-3 months, it's only a few weeks for you"!!

I called and spoke with Sherry Dorsey after noticing salt underneath my water softener container. She told me it was probably cracked and scheduled a technician to come out and take a look. I asked what it might be, and she again mentioned it could be a crack but said the technician would need to inspect it to confirm. When the technician arrived, I was on a company call, so my son opened the garage and allowed him to inspect the unit. The technician told my son he would take a look, which was completely fine. About 20 minutes later, he handed my son an invoice for $368. My son told me the technician never provided a quote or discussed the cost before completing the repair--he simply gave him the bill. I called Sherry to ask why I was never given a quote before the work was done. Her response was, "Why didn't your son ask how much it would cost? That's what I would have done." In my experience, reputable companies typically provide a quote before performing repairs, without the customer needing to ask. To be clear, I told her I had no issue paying for the service. I simply asked if she could reduce the bill by $68 so we could split part of the labor cost since no quote was provided beforehand. She was very difficult about it and repeatedly insisted that no one had ever questioned their services. I asked one final time if she could reduce half the labor, and if not, I would just pay the full amount. She eventually agreed to charge $300 but stated that they would never perform repairs or services for us again. Considering I originally purchased my water softener from them, the entire interaction was extremely disappointing. It wasn't about avoiding payment--it was about basic communication and customer service. Unfortunately, the way this situation was handled left a very negative impression.

He briefly explained to me what he did and what I have to do, which is basically nothing, except to call him if there's any problem or when the sediment filter has to be replaced next year. There's just one thing that I noticed. The cover for the water drain was missing. I'm not sure if the guys who worked on the water drain misplaced it I texted Adrian about it as soon as I noticed it was missing a few hours after he left, but I haven't heard back from him.
