    6 pk of donuts.

So I visited here once years ago when I didn't live in this area. I had to come back and visit since I'm in the local neighborhood not to far like 1.6 miles away. The first time I visited it might have been late in the evening not early in the morning at the time so I really don't remember what I got at the time and how good it was. This time I visited it was early in the morning and the donuts are delicious and fresh. Definitely worth the trip not a disappointment. I visited on 12-29-2025. I got a 6 pk of donuts.

Ray's Donuts is fantastic! Fresh donuts and food, prepared and served quick at a great price point. Love that it's family owned.

I stopped by a couple of times during a recent trip to Decatur and was pleased overall. The chocolate frosted raised donuts were light as you'd expect for a regular donut, the frosting a little on the sweet side and the frosting could use more chocolate. Beware as the frosting tends to crumble and fall off when you take a bite. The strawberry cheese croissant was disappointing, the strawberry seemed to be a mass produced strawberry flavored jelly of poor quality and no identifiable strawberry flavor. The pastry was delicate, but its features were overpowered by the disappointing flavor. The cheese filling wasn't much better. After a couple of bites, I tossed the rest of the croissant.

I love mom and pop donut shops. This one in Decatur has some great selections. Of course they have an amazing classic glazed donut. Service starts early in the morning until they are out of donuts. They are made fresh each day. They have a diverse beverage selection ranging coffee, to Thai tea, and everything in between. Check the out if you're ever in the area!

This perfect little spot is a great place to grab a small bite to go. They Have amazing breakfast items as well as donuts and coffee. The breakfast items are made fresh. The prices are perfect! There is no seating at all so it is just pick up and go no drive through either. The staff is so nice and friendly. Service was quick as well.

Solid morning donut stop! Sometimes the best donut shops aren't the ones that try to get too fancy, but instead stick to the basics. That's what Ray's does, and boy oh boy do they do it well! These are the perfect accompaniment to a steaming cup of coffee. They had a great variety of cake and yeast donuts and also had multiple flavors of fritters, which you don't see everywhere!

We went to Ray's Donuts at 11:45 am on a Monday. They had most of the donuts available, but they were running out - even on a Monday! So get there early! The person working was so sweet and patient! We ordered a half dozen, but she gave us one for free! She was wearing a mask, but masks are not required for customers. It's SO cheap! We got 6 donuts (plus the one for free) for $6.47! Here's what we got, in order of preference: - Cinnamon Sugar: Soo good. Perfection. - Blueberry Fritter: Very good!! - Glazed: Quality original donut! - Sour Cream: The one we got might've been a little overdone, burnt even, but I still liked the taste of it! - Boston Cream: The filling was good and I normally don't like filled donuts that much. - Chocolate Sprinkle: I didn't like the chocolate icing on top. Wouldn't recommend. - Strawberry Cake: Tasted very processed. Wouldn't recommend. Maybe the Blueberry Cake might've been better, but we didn't want to get two blueberry donuts. I definitely recommend Ray's Donuts! There are multiple locations, so find the one closest to you!

Very kind people working here. Service was very quick. All types of people stopping in for quick breakfast. Donuts were really good. Bacon egg and cheese on a bagel is wayy better than stop to any regular chain restaurants. Nice cut bacon and comes out quick and hot. Not very busy on a Wednesday morning. Relaxed energy.

Finally a little place for a quick breakfast that isn't McDonald's on Candler RD. Great donuts, great prices and plenty of parking.

A soft shatter on the outside. Then that dense almond center that lands sweet, nutty, and almost plush. The powdered sugar on top made it feel a little extra in the best way. Not too precious. Not too sugary. Just enough to make it feel bakery serious. The kind of pastry that makes you pause after the first bite because now everybody else at the table wants some. The tea was better than good. Clean. Smooth. Calming in a way that made everything else settle into place. It felt intentional. Not an afterthought. Definitely the standout and the easiest thing to come back for. Forgot her name, but the woman helping me order was a lifesaver. Honest. Adorable. Knew how to guide without hovering. He was very patient answering many questions about the menu. My mom has a lot of food sensitivities so she has to be very specific about what she eats. Hands down the best thing on the table was my shrimp and grits! The shrimp had just the right amount of Cajun seasoning, the grits were smooth and cheesy, the vegan sausage was nice and savory, and I loved the little grilled piece of focaccia bread. My fiancé loved the Kirkwood Breakfast. Especially the lavender biscuit and the preserves that went with it. He was also a huge fan of the honey bacon. My mom also got the Kirkwood breakfast, but she opted to get the eggs without the boursin cheese because of her food issues. My niece's boyfriend got the challa French toast and WOW it was a sight to see! Huge fluffy piece of French toast, topped with fresh berries, and a ricotta cheese blend. He seemed quite happy with it, although it was a little on the fence with the texture of ricotta, I'm thinking he probably hasn't had that before so I didn't know it was kind of like a cottage cheese texture. I got a lavender infused lemonade, nonalcoholic drink from the bar, and it was an absolute delight! I was surprised when they only charged me $4 for it, I felt like that was a great price for a delicious drink. My only constructive criticism to them would be to let people know that they add a 20% gratuity to every check. I don't mind paying that and honestly usually tip more but I do appreciate when a server will at least circle that on the check or let you know verbally .

The little wooden tray for my chai tea reminded me to stay grounded. Tristan recommended a new drink--the Spiced Matcha Mule. Ooh, she was spot on. It reminded me of something Mami (my Dominican almond mom) would make to heal and nurture me. I peeked over to the bar and noticed some fancy pink and green drinks being created by the host and a smiling barista. I couldn't decide--fruit, toast, or a salmon bagel. I fell back in love with a blast of flavor... the micro cilantro took the avocado toast to a whole next level. The fruits were perfect, and the intention came through with the fresh, delicate pink flowers--a nod to the seasonal festivities this weekend. As regulars left full, they looked loved and seen, each one getting a big mama hug from Mrs. Martha or Martin. She gives the sense that all is well in the world when she's there. Tristan provided exceptional service. Josh quietly cleared small plates as I finished. I noticed the team happily supporting each other as guests left and new ones arrived. The 9:00 AM early bird crowd was perfect--I even got away with enjoying this fine dining experience in shorts and a school T-shirt. The music was just right as I practiced my French on Duolingo. Today was perfection. I hope all your guests get to have this experience. Hats off to Chef Ryan, Chef Eric and Ernest, and the entire team.
