We checked out William's Donut during their late night special (8 PM-2 AM), and by the time we got there around 10 PM, they were almost completely sold out, which honestly says a lot about how popular they are. No way they were making it to 2 AM, so good for them! We grabbed a dozen assorted donuts for $30.23. The donuts themselves were light, fluffy, and definitely better than your average donut shop, no complaints there at all. You can tell they're made fresh and with care. That said, the toppings were a bit too sweet for me and my kids. Unfortunately, they only made it about halfway through their chosen donut before they were done, which never happens in this house. We have a little Saturday morning tradition where my husband picks up donuts before the kids wake up, and while we would love to have a go to spot closer to home like this, the price point just felt a little high for what we got compared to our regular spot. Overall, really great quality donuts, just a bit too sweet (and pricey) for our family to make it a regular stop. read more

So yes the donuts are good and service is always great, but their prices are deceitful. On the board it has half a dozen $7, well I walked out paying $11 for half a dozen. I asked for clarification and apparently plain twist donuts or chocolate glaze counts as "speciality donuts" (see picture) and the $7 price is for regular glaze. It's a rip off to be paying $11 for 6 donuts that's almost $2 per donut! I won't be back again, I'll go a few exits up to my favorite donut shop! read more

If you had asked me a year ago I would have sang the praises of Williams Donuts, but now I wouldn't recommend them. They used to have a great selection and if you wanted a cream filled donut they filled it when you ordered so you could get more or less filling. It was by far the best donut ever!! But... lately my experiences have been getting worse every time I go. What's happened? The selection is very disappointing and the last couple of times there's no cream to get cream filling... one trip I got home to find absolutely no filling in the filled donuts!! Instead of an apology I was asked if I was sure, so I took the donuts back to show them. Still no apology but was told it was because the machine wasn't working, so tell me that before I get home disappointed. After several years of talking my grand babies for a pink sprinkle (which now they're almost never have) I'm no longer going to be going back. Maybe I'll eventually try them again but not anytime in the near future read more

Well, so long dunkin & krispy... When I'm craving a donut I'll drive over to William's. This was the absolute MOST AMAZING donut I've ever eaten on the Southside of Atlanta. Very fresh. Soft. Not doughy. Very flavorful. Not super syrupy sweet. Just right. The size of the donuts appear just a tad bit bigger than DD. The owners are very nice, warm-spirited people. I went in at 6:00am when they were still bringing out fresh donuts and pastries. There were a lot of options for traditional and specialty pastries. You won't be disappointed!!!! A Sweet Experience at Williams Donuts Our visit to Williams Donuts was a delightful treat for the senses. Here's a quick look at our enjoyable experience: Atmosphere and Service Inviting Aroma: The moment we walked in, the wonderful smell of freshly baked donuts greeted us, setting the stage for a pleasant visit. Friendly Staff: The people at Williams Donuts were super nice and took the time to explain all the available flavors and options, making us feel welcome and informed. The Donuts Tasty and Satisfying: The donuts we tried were definitely tasty. While they might not have been the most extraordinary we've ever had, they were certainly good enough to warrant another visit. Overall Experience Williams Donuts offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, coupled with friendly and helpful staff. The donuts, though not mind-blowing, were delicious and left us excited to return and explore the other flavors they have to offer. This sweet spot is definitely worth another visit. read more

I was searching for a spot that would prevent me from catching a flight to New Orleans for what I…read moreconsider to be the BEST donuts on earth ! Just in case you are wondering - that spot is called Tastee Restaurant located in Kennar - highly suggest checking it out! Back to Best Country Donuts! My niece was visiting and said she wanted to check this spot out. I told her that we would need to get up at 5am and make the journey to the other side of town and beat the morning rush hour traffic! We did this on a Wednesday! It was about a 25 minute drive from where I live . When we arrived I was surprised that there were already patrons in the building! It is clear this place is loved! The gentleman that was checking out when we entered order 4 donuts and said " I will see you in a few days!"! I love this for them! It's nice to be loved by your customers! I wanted to try a regular glazed donut but also ordered a sour cream and a blueberry to try ! I think my total was about $5.50 or 6 bucks. I did get two glazed - one for a friend. My niece ordered a glazed and an apple fritter. When we got in the car to make the journey home my niece decided to try her glazed donut! She bit into it and said oh yessss, this is good !! I did not want to break my fast with sugar so I ended up waiting until I ate a proper breakfast prior to trying the ones I purchased. I tried the glazed first . I just cut off a small piece! First impression- ok - it's good - but it's not like the one I love in New Orleans. I then tried the blueberry donut! Now that one-- amazing! I ended up eating the entire donut! The sour cream one did not do anything for me ! If I was in the area wanting a sweet treat I would stop by this donut shop.

But with a new plaza being built across the street with a competitor set to be opening it's not a good time to start dropping the ball.
