Came here on my visit to Atlanta. I had done research via YouTube and marked this spot down to visit since I wanted to try their fresh strawberries & cream donut. Came in the morning and there was a small line that went by quick. Ordered the fresh strawberries & cream donut and it was really good. The cream filling was light and the sliced strawberries def was what made the donut come together. It was refreshing and sweet but more sweet. Glad I made the stop to try these out. My husband and I have been loyal customers for years, which is why this experience was so disappointing. Before visiting the store, we checked the store hours online and arrived around 10 PM, only to find the door locked. This was especially confusing because the signage at the store indicated that it was open 24/7. We had driven from another county to visit the doughnut shop, and while we were there, other customers also arrived and were confused about whether the store was open. When my husband called the store, we were simply told it was closed without any explanation. We understand that businesses can experience unexpected closures or staffing issues, but given the conflicting information about the hours, some explanation or acknowledgment of the confusion would have been appropriate. What concerned us most, however, was the customer service. When I later called to request a manager callback, the employee repeatedly interrupted me while I was trying to provide my contact information, spoke to me in a rude and disrespectful manner, became argumentative, and ultimately hung up on me. Clear communication, accurate business hours, and professional customer service are important. Unfortunately, because of the way this situation was handled, we will NOT be returning. Sublime doughnuts are indeed sublime! We got A-Town Cream, Orange Dream Star, Reece's Peanut Butter Cup, and Dirty D. Mine was the orange dream star! It was amazing! It's nice that this location is right off Ga Tech's campus! We'd done to a football game and wanted to kill time while some of the traffic cleared out. Service was fast once we got to the counter! I love this place - the selection of donuts is like nothing that you will fine anywhere else in the city. My favorite is of course the fresh strawberry and cream, A-Town Cream, and white chocolate peach fritter. I stopped in yesterday for a quick fix - and got a honey glazed bow tie and a strawberry glazed donut - loved them both and they were easy to handle while drinking my coffee and driving "slowly" down 10th street - LOL - it's open 24/7 and the Georgia Tech students seem to love it too - it's basically a short walk from anywhere on Campus - the place has a bohemian feel inside and the staff are always pretty cool at suggesting new stuff to try - stop in sometime and try the strawberry and cream... it's worth the stop and calories read more

Not sure why I haven't already reviewed this place since I've been buying and inhaling - I mean eating - their donuts for at least ten years. They are locally owned and globally delicious. But seriously, every time a new donut shop opens in Atlanta, I'll try it but then I always come back to Sublime. The donuts are sweet without being cloyingly sweet. Sublime is always consistent with their donuts. I don't think i've ever been disappointed with their donuts. They are great for bringing to your family on a holiday or visit. Location is off 10th street next to UPS store and Pizza Hut. The location is mostly just a walk up and order counter. After the pandemic, it kind of lost it's vibe with wanting to hang. There are a lot of options, my favorite go to is the Strawberries and Cream, which isn't overly sweet and any of the fritters. The Cinamon roll is also noteworthy. The frosted Croissant is also really good, if you're wanting something less heavy. The only thing I wish they would add to their menu is some kind of Maple glazed donut. This is sadly the only flavor they are missing. The rest of their donuts are tasty on their own and worth every adventure/discovery when you take a bite out of them. This was my first time at any Sublime location and I loved it! There was such a huge variety of doughnuts but they had printed menus with pictures and labels that really helped. I went during the lunch hour and it wasn't really packed at all. There is only indoor seating. It was decorated pretty cool too. I went with a strawberry white chocolate for myself and a frosted croissant for my bf. I'm not sure what the crunchy white things on top of the donuts were but (white chocolate possibly mixed with something else) but it was delicious. The doughnut was not dry at all and tasted very fresh. There is a decent amount of parking in this plaza and there is also a Marta stop directly in front of it. The average price seemed to be about $2 and some change. The signs on the door indicate that they do NOT accept cash, only credit and debit. I had Sublime on my list for a a couple of years now, and finally found time to stop by. Unfortunately it led to sheer disappointment. * Majority of the doughnuts were stale. Like rock hard stale. * the doughnuts that weren't stale had the texture of a biscuit. * Even with a large variety of options, these doughnuts don't really have much flavor to them. * The service was just atrocious. Worth the calories! It's so rare to find a donut place open 24/7. Most places that aren't chains close by 2ish. I was worried that coming in at 4:30pm on a Sunday would be mean that I would risk buying somewhat stale donuts from a sparse selection , but everything was fully stocked and fresh. This store is located right outside of Georgia tech's campus. The strip and parking lot are a little rundown, but there is plenty of parking. They have a laminated menu at the front desk that shows the full selection of donuts offered. read more

My husband and I visited Sublime Donuts when we were in Atlanta for a short visit, and I think we went back two or three times while we were there! The interior is so cute, with their little flying donut logo everywhere, an amazing mural on the wall, and even cute couches that are covered in donut pillows. The donuts themselves are FANTASTIC (and the reason we went back a few times while we were in Atlanta a short while on this trip). We only remembered to take pictures one time we went, but that was our last visit of the trip and we got a "best of" our favorite donuts we'd tried! We got the S'mores, Reeses Peanut Butter Cup, Cheese Dan-ish, Deep Dark Chocolate, and the Fresh Strawberries and Cream. I recommend every single one. Sublime donuts are a must get every time I'm on this part of town. They're it your typical glazed donuts with sprinkles - these are the real deal. The 3 flavors I always get are peach fritter, strawberries and cream, and Reese's peanut butter cups. The donuts have a nice chew and not too sweet for my liking. But of these 3, my absolute fave is the Reese's peanut butter cup. The middle of the donut has the peanut butter filling and glazed with chocolate, topped with pieces of peanut butter cup. They have some seating inside. They also offer coffee and have a fridge with water, milk and juice. Their donut price ranges from $2.50-$2.75 I believe. Best part about this place? It's open 24 hours. Get a donut craving at 4 am? Need a little pick me up after working late or while studying? Sublime is the spot. read more

The best donuts we've found (so far) in ATL. The best: honey twist (similar to Krispy Kreme's melt in your mouth original glazed), dirty D (that topping is insanely good), and cinnamon roll. For chocolate icing lovers- try the A (creme filled) or the Oreo donut, my boyfriend loved both. The misses: fudge, sprinkles, Kit Kat, circus, and nutella. These all use a dry and dense dough as compared to the fluffy and light dough up above. Awesome donuts, but taking off a star for the dry donuts and inconsistent dough quality. read more

Love love love 10/10. Very cool donut shop with a cool owner to match. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I came in later in the afternoon, and they still had a good assortment of donuts. If you have adventurous tastebuds this is a spot you'll love they have some unique combinations as well as your traditional stuff. Fun creative donuts! We bought a dozen but only snapped a photo of the Fruity Pebbles which was just ok. The fresh strawberry was a nice change to the standard donut. No individual ratings I'd rate all the donuts about a 3.5 stars. Loved the creativity here but missed the quality of a fresh hot donut. The texture was a little more doughy and less soft and pillowy, but less greasy in exchange. The service was super friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had a good experience. 5 stars there! And gotta appreciate local always!! read more

I stopped by Sublime Doughnuts today to get some donuts for everybody at work and I greeted the cashier with a good morning and the impression that I got was you're bothering me I have work to do... so then I began to ask some questions about the donuts, and I was given an attitude because I didn't understand... She then walked away and talked about the customer out front who asked her why she had an attitude... Needless to say, I will never return to this place because I don't want to see people like her! I would recommend that you avoid this place unless you're willing to deal with attitude and very poor service... Four dollars for a donut and this is the way that you're treated. Phew. There's so few small donut operations that make yeasted donuts anymore, and I'm tired of it. How many places like Voodoo in Portland or Federal Donuts in Philly are just selling us fried cupcakes with 10 ingredients on top? Cake donuts are fine, I guess. But when I'm CRAVING a donut, yeast is where it's at, and Sublime Doughnuts know what's up. Both about $2 and on the smaller side for American sized donuts but better for you calorie wise :) The donuts were fresh, tasty and good/subtle flavor, not overly gloppy (is thst a word?). The choices were around 20+ donuts enound for everyone to a favorite. No inside seating, so take it and sit in your car or keep walking... Inside a few murals adorn the walls. Sublime Doughnuts may not have been the first doughnuts to be slung in Atlanta, but they are certainly the most famous and creative you will find around this city...and apparently in Bangkok too! This location of Sublime is the OG spot, sitting in a small shopping center at the corner of Hemphill and 10th Avenue in the Georgia Tech neighborhood of the city. While the shopping center doesn't look like much, the interior transports you into the world of Sublime Doughnuts with its colorful walls, creative artwork, doughnut pillows and of course, the wall of freshly made and delicious doughnuts! The place may be small, but they pack a lot of character into it that is uniquely Sublime! The owner, Kamal, is one passionate dude when it comes to his doughnuts! I have had to pleasure to do a few Yelp events with Kamal and just chat with him when he happens to be in and each time I am amazed by how humble, low key and genuine he is. I am super pumped that he has found so much success in something that he is so passionate about...and that us ATLiens are so passionate about eating! At any given time you have the choice of around 30 different varieties of doughnuts and while some may seem like your basic flavors, there truly is nothing basic about Sublime's doughnuts! I would say the most famous choices would be the A-Town Cream and the Fresh Strawberry n Cream! Sadly, I am not a cream fan when it comes to my doughnuts, so I gravitate towards the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, Dirty D, White Chocolate and/or Honey Glazed Cinnamon Swirl! I can legit take any of these and feel like I am eating the best thing in town...and to be honest, I would be right! Most of these above have elements of standard doughnuts combined with a creative touch of Kamal's, but if you are really looking to get outside the box then scoop you up a Salt & Vinegar or White Chocolate Peach Fritter! Overall, Sublime is an absolute staple here in Atlanta, not only in the doughnut game, but in the culture of the city itself! We came here in late August and arrived at Sublime at around 8:15 pm.  Parking was not a problem due to the time, and I got a parking space in the free, shared parking lot right in front of Sublime.  Face masks were required.  We walked in, and there was a line of six people ahead of us.  With two employees in charge at the counter, the line moved quickly, and we were in Sublime for a total of 10 minutes. Took pics while waiting in line.  Some words that came to mind as I looked around were cute, charming and arty.  One of the walls had a cartoonish and whimsical scene painted on it with donut flowers.  A worn and comfortable looking loveseat had two pillows that looked like donuts. The employee who took our orders was neither patient nor welcoming with us, and was rather curt.  We got some coffee and peach fritters. The employee hurriedly gave them to us, them before we were able to take a step away from the counter, he looked past us and yelled, "NEXT!" Beside the loveseat, there were some stools to sit on at a long tabletop/counter against the windows at the front of the store, but we decided not to stay any longer since I didn't feel welcomed there. Drank the coffee in the car, and ate the fritters later.  The coffee was ... well, just coffee.  The fritters weren't like any other fritters I've had and tasted before.  Honestly, if I had my eyes closed while eating the fritter, I would've guessed it was a slightly sweet danish with tiny bits of something in it that didn't have any flavor. Thank god we only got three since they were just ok. Maybe it was the time of day or they were just not fresh. Pretty stale or dried out would be the word to describe it. I was pretty excited to try this place out but it didn't do it for me. We tried Apple fritter styled one, Nutella one, and dulce de leche doughnut. I took a bit of each one to see how it was. The Apple flavored one was the freshest out of all three. We have the other two which will probably go in the trash now. Sorry but it has to be fresh for me. I'm from south FL and we have a ton of local doughnut shops so guess I might be comparing a bit. But if a place charging over $2 a piece then it should be good or I'll just go to (America runs on ... ) for 99 cents. :) read more
