I want to take a star away only because I rarely get to them early enough to enjoy their wonderful creations. Everything is made fresh and you just know there's not many who can compete. Staff is always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, and it's calm enough to get work done inside too. Pro tip: They switch up the menu from time to time. Get that fritter & the staple raspberry sprinkle donut omg!

I love this place we come here often especially when we want donuts on a weekend or walking the beltline. You should definitely stop here on your beltline exploration as it is handsdown one of the best donuts in town. the staff is also amazing and the service is fantastic. They have a few tables inside about seating 10 people and outside they have some tables too so it's perfect for a nice sunny day to enjoy your coffee and donuts They have a gluten-free options and also have a couple of savory options if you want something not sweet so there is something for everyone's palette.

The only thing that could make revolution donuts any better would be extended hours and the ability to always know that my favorite donuts are in stock. This place has some of the best donuts in Atlanta. Not only do they have unique flavors, but every flavor I have had tasted amazing and I've had my share. I love that they have a lot of vegan options. Today I picked up a couple favorites, the cran-orange pistachio and their filled sufganiyot. I also went early in the morning, which is different than usual, and there was only one other person in the store. Typically there is a long line when I go, but it always moves quickly and efficiently. The staff is great! The store is small but clean. When the weather is nice, there are a few tables outside. Can't say enough good about Revolution.

Great artisan doughnuts that change it up seasonally. Located in a cute cafe near Kroger street. I liked the Key Lime Pie the best. Flavorful, fluffy and chewy. Yum

Revolution has made a lifelong customer out of me. I recently developed a severe dairy allergy, which makes it incredibly difficult to find a (good tasting) sweet bite. I stopped in early one morning and was finished ordering within about a minute. Beware of weekends as the line will wrap around the building outside. It's a cozy interior with a several two top or four top tables. I'm a tall person so the benches were a bit snug and my legs hit the bottoms of tables, but such is the case in many places. I was almost brought to tears when I took a bite of the vanilla bean glazed doughnut. The dark chocolate iced yeast doughnut is exactly how I remember doughnuts tasted as a kid. The yeast doughnuts are soft and chewy and there's a perfect amount of glaze to stand up to the hefty pastry. The doughnuts are ENORMOUS. Which I love. The cake doughnuts are begging to be dunked in coffee or tea as they are not dry but are indeed very cakey. I like to buy an extra cake doughnut (coconut is my favorite, but chocolate is a close second) and keep it cut up in the freezer, ready for my next sweet craving. The fact that I can eat here freely without being poisoned by allergens is such a relief and unburdens me from a heavy mental load of anxiety. I love you Revolution please never change.

This donut shop is located on Edgewood Avenue in Atlanta. They have street parking Outfront of the store. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We told them that this was our first visit to Revolution Doughnuts and they patiently answered our questions. The majority of their doughnut offerings are yeast raised rather than cake doughnuts. We tried the Tiramisu and the Mint Julip along with a Vanilla Bean Yeast Raised. They were all tasty but none of them "knocked my socks off". All were freshly made but the flavor combos just did not do it for me. The store is very clean and has several tables along the wall to sit and enjoy your coffee and doughnuts. There are so many donut shops in Atlanta that I likely will not return but the service was great and their doughnuts were fresh.

Love this cute doughnut spot! We stopped in after a run on the beltline. The blackout cake is decadent! More of a dessert, but a great treat. They change up the menu monthly, so check their Instagram for the latest flavors.

I had to put myself in time out from this place! I love the rotating and seasonal menu. The coffee is also good. Nice to have the cake and yeast donut varieties. And great people watching as well. Visitor beware .

My favorite donut shop in Atlanta. Always a pleasant ordering experience. There's always a new donut to try and the staff has great recommendations. It also has some of the best coffee which pairs perfectly. I typically take out as it's small inside and if it's a weekend it will be very crowded.

Peach slider doughnut was good - not great - but when in the Peach State, you get a peach doughnut, right? However, the yeast-raised raspberry frosted was the best doughnut I've ever had in my life. The icing wasn't just pure sugar like at Krispy Kreme or Dunkin. It actually tasted like raspberry, not just "pink," and the doughnut itself had a great flavor and texture, as opposed to what we get at the big chains (which is grease and fat and sugar and salt to trick our brain into thinking we like it).

Stopped by for a treat this week and absolutely love the whole experience. Street parking was super easy and I walked in and was greeted right away. The selection looked amazing and I ended up ordering the lemon cello old-fashioned and the cinnamon roll doughnut. Both of them were absolutely amazing. I also ordered a peach lemonade to drink and that barely made it home. Overall, I would definitely come back and I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Awesome doughnuts, friendly staff, and a corner-doughnut-shop vibe. It is not hard to see why Revolution Doughnuts is widely regarded as one of Atlanta's top spots for high-quality, handcrafted doughnuts. Surprisingly, we used ChatGPT to find this place. We went to the one in Decatur, and after circling the block about 100 times, we finally found a spot to park. It was worth it. I ordered a simple doughnut with dark chocolate frosting and a cup of black, drip coffee. My wife had a tiramisu-style one with a bottle of milk. We sat outside at a small table by the road and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Short and sweet review for a great place to eat some of the best doughnuts in Atlanta.

Tasty treats, friendly and fast service in a quaint space adjacent to the bike trail. I always enjoy seeing what they've created and today there were three items with peaches in them. Had to try all three. Given that it is the heart of peach season here in the Peach State, it wouldn't be right not to!

Their burgers are worth noting as well as their breakfast sandwiches. They add a bit of their own flare with a pepper jam on their breakfast sandwiches, which if you're into putting jam on your breakfast biscuits, that might interest you a bit. I'm not big into that, and I still enjoy it. The burgers and chicken sandwiches are also using fresh buns with fresh ingredients which you can't really find a lot of places in the city making their own buns. Most will use Martins, which i'm not complaining about those, but to find a fresh made bun hamburger in these times is amazing. The sesame seed bun seems to be made from scratch, and is crusty on the outside and chewy and fluffy on the inside. The pork sausage patty is moist, tasty, and juicy without falling apart, and very well seasoned. The egg was fried to perfection, and although there was a bit of runny yolk, it was not so much that it soaked the bun or made the sandwich needlessly messy. The sweet and tangy Hero Pepper Jelly is the perfect foil to the fried egg, cheese, and sausage, and for lovers of all things sweet and salty (such as myself), it amplifies the flavors of this sandwich to the next level. The husband loves sweets so he had to look up places to go for our dessert after our anniversary dinner. We came in around 9 PM on a Friday night. The place was empty but then a few folks wandered in. Though I suppose the pastries wouldn't be the freshest at this time of day, we were still impressed. We purchased the banoffee pie ($4.75) and pistachio cannoli ($4.95) donuts. Banoffee pie: With such an impressive name, the first bit did not disappoint. Though this donut looked more plain, the flavors were impressive. I guess the flavors were a mash of banana and coffee so hence the name. It was really delectable. Even the dough at this hour was still chewy and anything but stale. Pistachio cannoli: Impressive in presentation, but it's still more like a donut than a cannoli. Once you bite into it, you'll know it's more of a donut consistency than cannoli. The chocolate and pistachio coating added nice textures and flavors, but I wasn't a true fan since I was eyeing to have a true cannoli. The flavors were there, but it's just a donut dressed up as a cannoli. The Salty Donut is located in the Krog Street Market space. It's more on the street level around the perimeter than inside the market.
