Service is always on point. Bartenders and our server, Amos, were all great! Very polite and accommodating. Food (for me) is always good too. My guests' steak was overcooked but my filet and the sides were delish. Love the wine list. I love the dimly lit ambiance. I always recommend this spot when going to encore.

Wedge salad. The bacon was amazing.

My husband took me here for a birthday dinner, and we had friends join us. I think that the overall vibe here is supposed to be upscale, but a lot of the people in surrounding tables were a little rough around the edges. A table not far away from us were very drunk and kept yelling things out. It was pretty distracting. Not necessarily anyone's fault, just something I wanted to mention. The food we ordered was excellent, and yes, definitely on the pricier side. $26 for a wedge salad is definitely a lot. The bread service is incredible, and reminds me of the olden days at Abe & Louie's. (They used to have the same heavenly bread and now it's replaced with a terrible bread basket that has crackers and other dry junk in it). The loaded baked potato and my lobster risotto were perfect. Huge chunks of lobster and 3 full claws. The crab cake was delightful too. Dessert was also a tasty treat; my friend and I got free little tiny little tastes as a birthday celebration gift.

This place is amazing. Rare 5 stars from me. They are inside the casino so parking is easy. The service is top notch as expected at this price range. They even brought a purse chair for us ladies. The food is fantastic, there were 2 other couples with us and we all enjoyed it very much. It is a splurge so be warned.

Yup, finishing out the year with a 5 Star review. My husband and I came for dinner this past Saturday night to celebrate his 40th birthday. (We made 6pm reservations on the iPad in our room the night before) From the moment we walked in, we felt the elegance. The way we were treated/spoke to...the decor..just all of it. A small chair/stool was delivered to be placed beside my chair to put my wristlet on. That's right, my purse had its own chair. The bread and butter brought out to us was sweet, fluffy and dreamy. Our spicy martinis with thoughtfully placed olives were fantastic. Our server Khalid was wonderful, kind and attentive. I had the boneless ribeye and my husband had the filet. Mine was cooked a little more like medium well as opposed to the medium I requested, but that filet was spot on. We shared the side flight of creamed spinach, mac and cheese and roasted corn. Each one of those competing to outdo the other. All three were delicious and although we were full, we just had to finish them. Not only did they acknowledge his birthday with a surprise sweet dessert finish, but they even snuck a hand written birthday card in his menu upon arrival. Exceeded our expectations.

Its the best restaurant in the Encore. The steaks are excellent and always cooked perfect. Great seafood selections. I was here with friends and had the ribeye, surf and turf, oysters and drinks. The service here is always 5 stars. If you are at the Encore, you have to try this place, beautiful inside and if you have comps, go and spend them here.

We've chosen Rare Steakhouse a few times now for special occasions, and it never disappoints. The food is absolutely worth the price--high quality, beautifully presented, and consistently delicious. The staff is always attentive and makes the experience feel special. If you can, request a table near the window--the garden view outside adds a lovely touch to the atmosphere. Highly recommend for a memorable night out!

Cocktail program is world class. Wine list above average only. Needs work. Impeccably prepared New York strip steak and trio of side dishes (mashed potatoes, roasted corn, creamed spinach). Truly outstanding and world level for a steakhouse anywhere. Ambience fantastic and initial reception for anniversary dinner was very apropos and well received. Warm. Unfortunately the service was just OK. It did meet minimal professional standards but did not live up to the level I have come to expect from this restaurant.

The food was delicious. Our waiter Steven was amazing. I kept telling my husband that the restaurant was what I imagined heaven to look like because of the white tablecloths and chairs. It had very sexy lighting and we had a great time. They were able to accommodate my allergies. We were given an anniversary card when we arrived and a sip of champagne at the end since we were celebrating. We are looking forward to our next journey to Encore and Rare. Thanks.

Brought hubby here for dinner. The crispy potato made the chopped salad taste a lot more crunchier. The side of mixed mushrooms were so delish. Appreciated the kitchen doing a sautéed vs creamed spinach. The ora king salmon was lovely. Giving a shout out to Cara who made a note of my low sodium diet through out my meal. Great ambiance & food.

We didn't have reservations, so we were seated in the lounge. Our server didn't seem to be in the most pleasant mood. Maybe it's because I'm from the South and used to a bit more southern hospitality, but his demeanor was noticeable. The highlight of our meal was the broiled king crab legs--absolutely phenomenal and easily the best thing we had. Our steak, which was supposed to be cooked medium-well, came out well-done--both times. When the manager, Adriana, came over to check on our second steak, I simply showed it to her, and she agreed it was overcooked. The restaurant did NOT take it off the bill and offered us a complimentary dessert, which we didn't complain about but still unsure what the point of the manager check in was if the resolution was a dessert...

    Crème brûlée

Our first visit to RARE at the Encore Casino. We were very impressed from beginning to end. The level of service, courtesy, and quality was top notch. Our servers were extremely attentive without being overbearing. Our visit was in celebration of a milestone anniversary, and everyone made a sincere and earnest effort to congratulate us and wish us the best. The cocktails were astounding, both in taste and presentation. We had filet mignon and an aged NY strip. Both steaks were cooked perfectly medium rare as requested, and served sizzling hot. They were fantastic. The sides were delicious as well. We ordered asparagus, which was in a lemony sauce. Perfectly cooked and crunchy. The Brussels sprouts were roasted with pork belly and a pear sauce. We split a giant loaded baked potato served with all the traditional toppings. The Caesar salad was perfect: tangy, delicious dressing served over cold and crispy romaine with white anchovies and croutons. For dessert we split a crème brûlée, which was as decadent a dessert as I've ever had. In short, a very satisfying (albeit expensive) special occasion. We will certainly return again!

Very delicious meal. Pricey but so enjoyable. Beautiful looking restaurant located off to the side of the lobby. The hostess who sat us was so friendly (unfortunately did not get her name). She even brought a small chair for purses to be placed on. The bread they gave for the table was extremely tasty. The chopped salad was very good and big enough to share which they plated separately for us. The boneless grass-fed rib eye was so flavorful and delicious. One of the best I've eaten. My favorite part was dessert. The apple, which I had been looking so forward to getting did not disappoint. It was not only inventive but so yummy. They also gave a mini treat for my birthday. One of the managers, Adriana came over to thank us for coming and was so nice.

How much should I expect to spend for just 1 person, 2 people, and 5 people. Considering going with all different 3 group sizes. No alcohol will be consumed. Just steak, apps, and sides. Isn't there like fancy steak knives or something?

They provide mini seats for ladies purses which our group found entertaining. If you go with the rare Wagyu selection it's close to $300 per person. If you eat the bigger, nicer steaks it will be $200 and if you are getting one app, one side and… Read more

I tried to balance out my plate to be half and half and scored the 14.49 rate but if the staff thought I had too much meat I would have paid 19.99 per pound instead. lol. Otherwise I was a fan, the meat was tender juicy and flavorful (especially the steak) and the buffet items were really good as well (polenta and fried plantains were standouts) The wait staff were just okay, my waitress was just standing near the front and I tried to get her eye contact but that didn't work so when the manager came by to check on me (she didn't) I asked him if he could send her to pay. Overall a decent experience but because of their pricing model I won't likely come again.

It was our first time and we just got in line, luckily, someone let us know we had to go up and leave our name with the guy holding the tablet ; there were no directions/signs or staff to direct. Despite the crowd, we were seated in about 20ish minutes. We did the per pound option instead of AYCE and that's what most folks were doing. Service, once we were seated, was attentive, food was good. They could have done a better job at keeping the buffet options stalked, they were out of 3 options. This is definitely a more casual place, no frills and closer to an everyday Brazilian churrascaria. Overall, it was fine, if I were in the neighborhood and looking for a bite, I would stop in again.
