a plate of food

I just tried Mineirao and absolutely loved it. The ambiance is great and the wait staff and owners are so kind. The food is 10.95 per pound or 39 to have fresh meats delivered to your table. The value is unbeatable. All the meat I had was juicy, tender and tasty and there are tons of salad and side options. They have live entertainment on friday nights as well. Check it out and support this new business!

Potato salad

I got takeout and the order was easily done over the phone (I don't think their website works too well and I don't want to deal with all the Doordash Grubhub stuff) and the receptionist was very friendly. Since this is a Brazilian steakhouse and it's best if you eat there, I was expecting the meat to be dry if you get takeout. But I was pleasantly surprised because not only were the meat not dry, they were not overly salty nor burnt either like other steakhouses I've ordered from. So I can imagine how great the food would taste if you eat there. All the sides were very tasty, even the rice. We ordered the Churrasco Misto with a side of Tropeiro's Beans (this was my least favorite out of the sides because it was just a tad dry and not as tasty as it looks), the potato salad, and yucca fries (so yummy and addictive). Just wish that there were more meat choices (with a tad more seasoning on the meats) or offer sauces that come with the meal and it will be perfect. Can't wait to go back and try more items from the menu!

Make sure to stay on the rubber pad

Let's start with the end of our late lunch first. As my wife and I were leaving, there was a group of about 10 Portuguese speaking people standing in a circle outside the door. My wife opened the door and had to immediately step to her right to avoid them. It was a 55 degree night and she's pregnant, but it had been raining. Before I knew what happened, she's slipped and skidded on her left knee. We were lucky she only jacked up her leg and bled all over her jeans. They have a rubber walkway directly in front of the door, but I tested where she stepped after she fell, and it's like an ice slick. The rest of the experience was just kind of annoying. We were seated and just waited there for instructions. The waitress brought our drinks and we were like "do we order? Do we just go up?" It was confusing because some people had the green and red cards and some didn't. So we went up to the buffet and it's chaos. It didn't help that this tall guy who works there just decided he can cut in front of everyone because I guess he was on break. The garlic steak was dry, same with the chicken and bacon. We liked the sirloin steak and the red dipping sauce. Not sure the Caesar salad had any dressing. Also, if you speak Portuguese, you'll get great service. We just got ignored. The prices weren't terrible, though. Oh, and you get these tickets after they weigh your food. You're supposed to know to bring them back to your table and eventually a server will come around for you to pay. Maybe post some instructions somewhere.

Very high price for mediocre beef. Everything was medium well or well done. Nothing medium or medium rare. Very disappointing.

Friendly service. -- Chongqing Style Spicy Chicken: The classic dish with as many red chile peppers as bite-sized chicken nuggets. Smaller pieces than most, but crisp without being dry, and full of flavor even beyond the spice. Solid. -- Crispy Fried Pork W/ Sweet Sour Sauce: This isn't your daddy's old school Chinese American sweet and sour, and that's a good thing. But first, the pork: thin, flat slices with an even thinner batter reminiscent of tempura-- so light and crispy it crackled like broken glass. The sauce had syrup consistency, golden color instead of the old school red, and more sour than sweet. A spectacular dish if you like sweet and sour, and a good one even if you don't. -- Sautéed Pork Belly with Hot Pepper: Firm slices of pork with so little fat you can eat the whole thing without inspection. The hot peppers weren't so hot, so while this was enjoyable as a simple pork and vegetable dish, it had no spicy flavor pizzaz suggested in the name and evident in similar examples elsewhere. On the other hand, it did have pleasant black bean flavor. -- Sautéed Shredded Beef With Long Horn Pepper: Numerous slivers of tender beef with more of an understated thin gravy than sauce, with the peppers crisp but not that peppery. Mild but substantial. Bonus points for all of the following: - The server coming back and double checking to make sure we still wanted a dish we ordered after letting us know it was cold. - A tablet on the table with the menu showing photos of every dish to assist in ordering decisions. - A municipal parking lot across the street. - Cute branded takeout bags.

We usually park at Stop & Shop and walk over instead of wasting time looking for street parking. They did a little bit of remodeling and the place is very spacious. The service was wonderful. Our waters were always full and the staff are all so pleasant and helpful. My family doesn't eat too spicy, but our serve gave us some recommendations, and they were all very good. My favorite was the braised Japanese tofu and the sweet & sour fish. They debone the whole fish while maintaining a beautiful presentation on the plate. It was fried perfectly and didn't come out soggy even with the sauce on it. I would definitely come back to try more dishes.

I would tell anyone that doesn't like incredibly fatty meat, or that likes their food cooked beyond medium rare to dine elsewhere. The hostess was friendly, we told her we had never been to the restaurant before, she quickly walked us thru the menu. Our waiter came by, we told him we had never been there before. We ordered various dishes, and plates of meat were dropped off. No explanation whatsoever. As he turned to leave, I said again, we'd never been there before. No insight into how best/long to cook anything. Every meat dish was incredibly fatty, like, 2/3rds fat. I placed meat on the grill, it cooked very slowly. I asked him to turn up the temperature as we liked our meats cooked well, so he turned the heat up. At one point he said he was going to swap out the grill-pan, and turned the heat down, while meats were still cooking. This was incredibly frustrating, I felt like food was taking forever to cook, and the longer I sat there staring at the meat, the more annoyed I got. It was all you can eat. We didn't finish our first order of 5 dishes we were so annoyed. It was not worth the money, it was an unejoyable experience. I've only been to a few self-cook Korean restaurants previously, and generally liked them. I think the staff needs to be more aware when someone asks for guidance, that they should try to be more engaged. I left angry, and still hungry.

Our server said the place was usually pretty busy and hectic so we definitely were fortunate it wasn't like that when we went. I liked the little bar to grab side dishes - as an AYCE spot, having the ability to get sauces and things like lettuce and bonchon yourself was very nice. The food itself was all right - not the best meat ever, but good for the price and restaurant. The other dishes like the pancake and bibimbop were solid as well - no complaints! We finished the meal off with ice cream as well which you just grab from a mini fridge on the side. Our server was super friendly and nice, she made the experience pleasant and was very attentive. Overall, we had a good time here - the food quality could be better, but for a buffet, it was solid. I wouldn't mind coming back in the future for another AYCE KBBQ experience!

I will generally ask them to not chop up the meat for me. It's convenient and they do it very quickly, but my boyfriend is not a fan of the shards of bone co-mingling with the meat. I will warn you that cutting it up at home will result in a HUGE mess because these birds are fatty, but it's worth it to me to carefully debone the meat. There's a bit of a language barrier but that doesn't stop me from asking for extra ginger scallion oil. Ask for it. They will give you one sauce. It's really good and we're not Chinese and they don't understand that we can't get enough of it. The soy sauce is also good. There is a bakery here but I've only ever gotten the meat. It is a typical Chinese cafe. Basic. No frills. Nothing fancy. The food just kind of speaks for itself. This is a To-go place. I think every time I've been here, there's been little or no wait.

Thai ice tea - not overly sweet light and creamy after you mix it. Green Thai iced tea - more tea flavor shown thru this version i enjoyed this too! Larb chicken - amazing dish i really liked it, only comment would be maybe the minced protein toss some bigger diced chunks in too to soak up that cr*ck sauce! Basil chicken fried rice - spicy good flavor overall and chicken was plenty. I sort of was hoping they would have the signature like basil spice "glaze/sauce" they could do like other spots for basil dishes but they did not. It's good how it is though but if i was to get crispy chicken - def would need a sauce for my taste anyways. Red curry with salmon creamy extra spicy (you can choose spice level) salmon was cooked well in here and the flavor broth went so well soaked in the white rice! Bbq pork skewers - like your friends bbq where their folks went all out. Shoot perfect drinking food. Nampla chicken wings- really good fish sauce base wings! I highly recommend this place if you like spicy. I requested for extra spicy for the red curry with salmon & I was pleasantly surprised that it tasted actually spicy! Many Thai spots I've gone to tend to not deliver the level of spicy I'm looking for, so I'm happy I was able to get it here. Salmon was cooked perfectly & the curry was delicious. We loved the basil fried rice with chicken also. Flavorful & had a nice kick. Chicken was not dry either! The chicken laarb was addictive to eat. It had the right amount of citrus & spice. Generous portion too! Nampla wings reminded me of nuoc mam/Vietnamese fish sauce wings. I personally found the wings to be a bit dry but the sauce it came with really helped. Good flavor though. Lastly, both the Green iced Thai tea & regular iced Thai tea were solid. Not the best but still good. I'm a big fan of Green iced Thai tea & not many places offer this.
