Fantastic dinner spot within Encore! Complimentary bread was great (especially loved the garlic that came with it!!). All of the pasta was wonderful - everyone got different pasta entrees and they all loved it. Also ordered calamari to start which also had fried shrimp, scallops, onion strings in there - loved the taste, but felt like the presentation of that item could be better (it was in a basket where the food seemed to easily fall out, so it was messy). Service was attentive. Lively atmosphere. Went for dinner on Thursday and it was pretty popular!
Beautifully plated dinners carefully crafted to wow your tastebuds. Simple and stunning elevated Italian fare. Great service and a very fun ambiance. The atmosphere of the casino sneaks into Fratellis and you can watch game play while you dine. Love this spot for dinner with the parents, they have options for everyone!
We have been here a few times. It offers authentic Italian food inside the Encore. Inside is very clean and quiet. The expresso martini is one of the best I have had. They bring bread with olives, roasted garlic and olive oil which is great. The last time we were here I saw a different table order the Parmesan wheel pasta and I really wanted to try it but we went there and had something different. They offer a special called Rush Hour MONDAY - THURSDAY, 4PM - 6PM $49.95 per person. It is a great deal and includes the following. Choice of One of Our Appetizers PASTA SECONDI and. DESSERT. If you are planning a trip to The Boston Encore you should definitely check out Fratelli's!
Service was very good. Food overall was good. Nothing stood out as spectacular but overall is a nice experience and ambience. Definitely not worth the price but once in a while, you are looking to endulge or celebrate and occasion, It's a good spot. We got the steak carpaccio, fried calamari, zucchini, flowers, clam/mussels and red sauce and the grilled octopus. The zucchini flowers were the star of the show. The rest were all good no complaints, but nothing was yowzers. Entrées, we got stuffed lobster, grilled Franzino and a couple of steaks. Again, if you're celebrating go for it a nice spot in the hotel.
You can always expect a decent meal at the Fratelli in the Encore Casino. We came to celebrate my birthday and had a delicious meal starting with their bread and dipping oil and the meatballs with homemade ricotta. The bread is good along with the dipping spread it comes with, we just wish the bread was warm. The meatballs and homemade ricotta were delicious, you have to dip your bread in the sauce. For the rest of our meal, we had the ravioli caprese and filet mignon with double mashed potatoes and popover. The ravioli is a classic and can't go wrong ordering it. The steak was cooked to perfection, just melts in your mouth along with the mashed potatoes. They were booked up for a Friday night, I would definitely suggest making a reservation for the weekend. As for the service, we were left waiting for a while before a server noticed us. She did not share any specials with us and seemed to rush us a bit. We had ordered a different dessert, but tiramisu was brought out. Regardless of the mistake it was still delicious!
Awesome place the bar was a good size. The restaurant was very nice casual and comfortable. The service was excellent and very friendly helpful and on top of everything. The food was excellent had meatballs for an appetizer along with oysters nice and fresh had the bone in New York sirloin steak which was cooked to perfection the lobster plates were just as good everything was perfect.
I had the chance to visit Fratelli while staying at Encore Boston Harbor. Glad I snagged a reservation since it was SO busy - and sadly that resulted in slow service (but it was the holidays so understandable). I started off with the Luna cocktail which gave the vibe of a creamsicle + tequila (a bit too sweet for me). The pink grigio + caesar salad for the appetizer was actually superb, and I do call myself a caesar salad connoisseur. The caesar salad made my top 3 list of salads for 2024!! My entree was solid but didn't stand out to me flavor wise. I got the pasta & meatballs. The meatballs were a bit too dense for my liking, but the sauce was great. Another star of the show was the Famous Espresso Martini which was the perfect liquid dessert. If you are going to Encore, book a reservation here!
Came for the espresso martini and they were good! We had fast service and Fratelli's is a nice Italian restaurant in Encore. Solid ambiance and would come back to try their food.
Had the most amazing meal! Service was spectacular. Had the calamari appetizer but forgot to take a pic..Must try if you've never had it. It had shrimp, scallops and fried onion rings. For dinner I chose the Veal chop, stuffed with prosciutto and fontina cheese. It was to die for!! My husband had the Veal Osso Bucco that he said was delicious!. For desert I had the deconstructed tiramisu and he had the bread pudding..the perfect ending to an incredible evening. Oh and dont forget the Espresso Martini, hands down the best around!. We can't wait to go back!
Celebrating my birthday here 2024 Ordered all kinds of lobsters and king crab meat! Taste good and healthy. Ocean favors best service and fresh food. Also ordered the rock of lamb which is my favorite! My father ordered sea bass,I asked change the sauce to white bean sauce under the sea bass which is the best fish dish in the world!
Wonderful dinner at Fratelli. Located in the back of the casino. The meal started with very good bread. We had meatballs for an appetizer which were great, really good sauce. The meals we had were chicken parm, brick chicken, and shrimp scampi (not on the menu as an entree but they were very accommodating). Also got a side of carrots. Everything was delicious. Really nice portion sizes.
The perfect spot to sit and dine in style at the Encore Casino! The entrance is very attractive and inviting, the interior very stylish and comfortable, the white Linens and napkins is a perfect choice to have a celebratory dinner or a classy meal with loved ones or friends the color scheme is soothing! If you order every thing on the menu is worth ordering but try Meatball and home made Ricotta to start if you're real hungry for another appetizer try the Calamari! For the main dinner choice Braised Beef Short ribs- you will love the sweet Italian glaze! If you have room after all that then top your meal with dessert! It's a deconstructed Italian Tiramisu soaked in Coffee Liqueur instead of espresso coffee! Go for all of it! Just by writing this review I am Hungry!!! The Staff will take great care of you to make your dining experience exceptional! read more

I'm sitting in the restaurant...in complete and utter awe...because...not only were the espresso martinis, chicken Valdosta special, and carbonara absolutely perfect, but the Signature Bread Pudding has changed my life forever...I know ...I know...this sounds dramatic but I got elegance meets creamy chaos, I got perfect balance of hot and cold, I got campfire comfort meets red carpet. I'll never be the same again. I will miss experiencing this for the first time all of the rest of the days of my life. Our server, Dejan, was incredible also. He kept a comfortable distance but a watchful eye on us and we never wanted for a thing while we were here. Who would've thunk it? The Italian joint in the middle of the casino is my favorite Boston-area restaurant. Thank the gods I found you bread pudding!! read more
Had the rush hour special which was a 3 course mean for 50 dollars. Started with the Caesar salad (not pictured) which was small but good. Then the salmon with onion jam and mash which is a smaller portion for the rush hour menu. Very good and the tiramisu for desert to end. It also css as me with free bread and olives. Ambiance was clean and highend. read more

We went for a celebration of Love; the atmosphere was nice we reserved one of the rooms because it was16 of us. I ordered the rack of lamb (4 pieces) I can't complain they came out medium well how I asked, they were also very meaty so I cant complain about the price. Can't say anything wrong about the oysters we ordered a total of 48 and each batch was fresh: the calamari on the other hand was super bland and chewy probably wouldn't get this again (side note: there was also shrimp and scallops in this dish which didn't taste as bland. I forgot to ask the others how was there meal. read more

Located in Encore Casino, Fratelli emits luxurious flair. The dining area is nice, and the staff are friendly professionals at what they do. For food, we ordered two appetizers and one pasta dish. We shared this amongst 3 people, since the food was a bit pricey. Together we paid about $84 without tip, so that comes out to about $35 per person. The taste was good, but wish we ordered some extra veggies. The portions are decently sized, so we were mostly full afterwards. I will come back if I have some points, but too pricey for out-of-pocket! I would give a 3.75 if I could! read more

It was nice to get a reservation the same night on a Thursday. Atmosphere wasn't too loud which was unexpected considering they have quite a few tables. The seared tuna, while it was good, didn't have ANY truffle flavor at all, but was otherwise tasty. The osso bucco was very tasty, risotto was on point with saffron and the veal came right off the bone. The short rib came apart, but I was a bit disappointed by the polenta and that the sauce seemed a little too sweet. Almost tasted like a BBQ sauce. I'm not sure I'd come back, but it was decent if you know exactly what to order and fits your budget. Decided not to order any appetizers since the server said they'd be small. read more

Back again! I must say last years visit was better but it was still good. The Brussels sprouts were delicious. Lamb was good but it was surprisingly breaded which was a tad odd. Chicken parm was average, nothing special, although the sauce seemed very fresh. Calamari and fritto misto had a lot of seafood in it too, very nice. Service was professional and quick. read more

Really enjoyed the experience at this restaurant located inside the Encore Casino in Boston. The service was 10/10, the ambiance was 8/10 and the food was 9/10. I loved the starters and the drinks for sure. I think when it came to our main dishes, there were some mistakes that I wasn't expecting from a place like this. The steak I ordered medium rare and came out almost well done, the lobster in the lobster pasta was undercooked and almost raw in some parts, and the wait time on the food was pretty long. I do think it's a great place and just unfortunate we got a couple things wrong, most of the food was great. I'd give it another chance the next time I'm in the area. read more

Sitting in the restaurant right now, and will not return. We've had odd service and cold food. The short ribs were tasty but not warm, the caccio e Pepe, which is not on the menu, but is a special they always have and is mixed in a cheese wheel, was mediocre and also cold. We actually had this one remade because we thought they gave us old pasta. The second time we saw the noodles steaming and after mixing, it was still cold. I think the sauce they added must have been cold. Gnocchi was fair and cold. Broccoli rabe was inedible--super bitter and oily. For apps we had meatballs (fair minus) and octopus (good). All in all, not a good experience and we won't be back. After sending back multiple items and commenting about temperature issues with others, we never heard from the manager and did not receive any sort of apology. read more
I've been here several times and always love the ambiance. The first time was to celebrate a friend's birthday. We order apps and mains to share. My favorite was the sautéed mussels and clams. The calamari & grotto misto was delicious, but I thought the portion size was disappointing. I thought their special-of-the-day paella and pastas were so good. The deconstructed tiramisu was put together table side which I thought was super cool. I wouldn't say it's my fave but the presentation factor was excellent. They make one of the best mojito mocktails. The second time I came was for date night. We were seated closer towards the back with a more intimate vibe which I loved. We got the mussels again and it was just as delish as the first time. Hubby ordered the Chilean Sea Bass in Agrodolce. He loved it but I it was a little too sweet for my preference. I ordered the the special of the day paella again because I loved it last time. The portion was huge and the flavor was good but it didn't arrive as hot as the other dishes do midway through it, it had cooled down significantly. One (small) downside is that the bathroom is located outside the restaurant where you have to exit the casino area. I know it's not far but it doesn't feel convenient. read more
Fantastic service! The sea bass is out of this world. So soft and melt in your mouth. The restaurant is always packed located in the back of the casino. I never make reservations both times I was visiting but they have first come first served area by the bar. My husband enjoys rib eye and I like fish I tried the branzino and the sea bass. The branzino is okay not much of flavor but the sea bass was amazing! Would come back just for it. The popovers that come with the steak is buttery and so good. Service is fast and excellent. Since this is located inside the encore casino it's not an easy place to go t with public transportation. They have garage and the hotel is very beautiful. read more
Absolutely amazing! This was one of the best pastas I've ever had. I've had their Chilean sea bass before and liked it but this is my new favorite! This place is can get pricey but can be worth it if you order the right dishes. The wine sauce was flavorful and they loaded it with clams. The portion was generous. My husband got the braised short rib and liked it but I didn't get a picture of it. The meat was tender and delicious. It was served on creamy parmigiano polenta and roasted chestnuts. Yum! read more

We got a reservation the same night on Saturday. The atmosphere was dark and casual. Parking is located right under and it's in the Encore casino. The gnocchi was okay (chewy) and didn't pair well with the sauce. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection. The seabass was good, but the sauce was not my favorite. The mussels were my favorite part as it was flavorful and a great addition to our meal. Overall the prices are on the more expensive side for Italian food. Service was fast and they were very nice! read more

We were recently visiting the Encore to view the holiday foliage display and to do a bit of gaming. Be aware, all patrons must be 21+ to dine here. Everyone is asked for their ID to get into the casino. There are no exceptions, this is state law. Fratelli is located inside of the Encore Casino near the Sportsbook. It is an upscale, casual Italian spot known for charcuterie, raw bar, seafood appetizers/entrees, fresh pastas, meatballs, short ribs, fresh fish, brick-oven chicken, veal, and branzino. You'll also find prime beef and chops that are cooked in their brick-oven. The meats are a la carte, sides are extra. However, the sides are large enough for two to share. I highly recommend the Baby Brussels Sprouts. You'll find filet mignon, New York Strips, Ribeyes, Tomahawks, Veal Chops, & Rack of Lamb. We had two people in our party and stopped by without a reservation at around 8PM on a Tuesday. The casino was fairly busy, however they were able to seat us promptly. The decor and design is upscale and modern, without overdoing it. We decided to start off with some appetizers. We ordered the Dry Aged Beef Carpaccio. It is served with Arugula, Shaved Parmigiana, & Truffle Essence. The presentation was spectacular and the carpaccio was paper thin. It was so thin, it was nearly impossible to get off the plate. We just were not a big fan of it, it just had a very off taste. It may have been the dry-aged beef or the truffle essence. Next, we ordered the Caprese con Mozzarella di Bufala. Fresh, juicy orange and red vine-ripe tomatoes served with incredibly rich mozzarella and finished with basil pesto. The tomatoes were juicy and the mozzarella was very rich and creamy. It practically melted in your mouth. We also had some of the complimentary bread and olives with our appetizer. The bread is more of a rustic-style type bread. It is served with EVOO, Roasted Garlic, & Marinated Olives. The bread was certainly old and stale, it was quite a challenge to just break a piece off. Olives were phenomenal. Lastly, we decided to split the "Maori". It is fresh angel hair, Pomodoro sauce, shaved parmigiana, and it is served with two of Mom's meatballs. The server topped it off with grated cheese upon request. The pasta was cooked perfectly and they gladly split the entree perfectly between two plates. We asked for light sauce. It's debatable if that was followed, as it was still very heavy on the sauce. The sauce was well balanced, not acidic. The pasta was cooked perfectly, not overcooked and not undercooked. Service was very on point with taking your order and getting the food out quickly. They had our appetizers out within 5-minutes of ordering. We are slow eaters and like to savor the flavor when we are spending money. I'd highly recommend spacing out your meal so everything doesn't come out at one time. We also found out after paying the check that they offered a full raw-bar with oysters, crab, lobster, clams, and more. We were never given the small, paper menu by the host or our server. I won't lie, that really bummed us out. The food and service is certainly good, but could definitely be improved. They seemed more concerned about turning the table quickly over delivering a five-star experience. The prices demand a better experience. If you're expecting North-End quality Italian- you'll be disappointed. It is certainly a good pick if you're at the Encore. However, I wouldn't go out of my way for it or pay the inflated prices that are asked on the menu. They're more expensive than some of the nicest Italian spots in the North End. Lastly, if you come here on a Friday or Saturday and get hungry they do offer a late-night menu from 12-2AM. You'll find brick-oven pizzas and calzones. read more
I went with a group of friends who frequent this restaurant when they hit up the Encore Casino. We had an early dinner. The service and ambiance were impeccable. I tried the Pistachio Martini which was yummy. At the recommendation of my friends, I ordered the Bolagnase. It was flavourful and hot. I'd return to try more menu items read more

Convenient in Encore Hotel. Service was pretty good, fun vibe and very crowded. Prices are expensive and food nothing special. I had a $129 stuffed lobster. Supposedly a two pound lobster, but virtually no lobster and all breadcrumbs crumbs. My two friend's dishes were ok, but nothing great. Check with tip was $400 for three of us without booze. Way overpriced for what we got. If in the casino and hungry, try it. But not a great value, but fun and service was pretty good. read more

This place is inside the Encore casino outside of Boston. Amazing drinks. Great service and very good food. We only had appetizers. The bruschetta is very interesting as you can see on the picture. Not the traditional or what we were expecting but pretty good. The broccoli was a lil bitter but the others were great read more
