Not impressed, the food was bleh and the service was terrible. My husband and I both ordered the frisco burger. It was a thin premade frozen patty. The lettuce was wilted and the only reason it didn't taste horrible was because of the sauce. The frys were very over cooked and didn't have flavor. The iced tea was good but the waitress checked on us once, and was soo busy on her phone and eating at the counter that we couldn't get her to realize we wanted our check till we were about to walk up to the counter. We stopped here on our way through town. Bradley was our server and he sure took great care of us. There were six of us and we all had burgers. I recommend the green chili cheeseburger, it was tasty. They even made a burger patty with no salt for our hungry puppy. All of this while the place was packed for an all year high school reunion celebration. Friendly, and delicious. We stopped here for an early breakfast on our long road trip back to California. The green chili is amazing. Coffee was fresh, hot and plentiful. I'm glad we took some time to eat here. If there is any room for improvement, I'd change the gravy. It was a little pasty and bland. Some Italian sausage in it would do wonders. Disappointing! Yelp, you did me wrong. We walked in on a 30° day and it felt like it was only about 10° warmer inside.. to top it off they had the ceiling fans on... really!? So you'd think the food would come out piping hot, right? Nope! The cheese on my Sharon's special wasn't even melted... what's the point!? My husband said his garbage omelette was good, but he'd never complain anyway. My Sharon's special had an orangey looking sauce, not green, and a couple chunks of pork and it wasn't very warm. My daughter had chorizo and eggs, she said it was pretty spicy buy tasty. Overall, I would not recommend this place unless your ok with mediocre, barely warm food in a freezing restaurant. read more

Service was great as well as the food. This is a small diner off of I-40 and it could be missed pretty easily. It's definitely a destination to add in your GPS for any meal! They have breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Very small, not crowded and not busy. Family oriented and the food comes out in a good, timely manner. Stopped here for breakfast since my hubby was starving and we love trying mom and pop type eateries when we travel. I was surprised to see a 4-star rating in a small town but with that rating I was expecting something good. Walked in about 9 am and was greeted promptly. All but 1 table needed to be bussed. We sat down at the clean table available. Waitress and who we later discovered was the cook proceeded to talk for approximately 5 minutes. The waitress took our drink orders and returned to talking with the cook. It was nearly 20 minutes after walking in that our order was taken and given to the cook. Several other customers came in during that time and each was greeted then the conversation between the waitress and cook continued. Our food, huevos rancheros a house specialty according to the menu, arrived timely and was acceptable, but by no means anywhere near 4-star worthy; even for a small town. All during our 1 hour time there the cook and waitress continued talking to each other loudly enough for everyone in this small cafe to hear. Bathroom was VERY small. Clean seat, but quite worn. Ceiling was discussing. Won't be stopping here again, but our tummies are full. read more

Sharon, whoever she is, has a "Sharon's Special" on the menu which is some of the very best homemade, shredded pork filled, make your nose runny, mildly scorch your toungue Green Chile I have had. Served on top of an order of hashbrowns and topped with melted fresh white mexican and cheddar cheeses. The special comes in a full and half size order if you ask.....and even comes with some really good biscuits and gravy if you ask nicely. read more

Good tasty food. Most reminded me of my grandma's home cooking. Garbage omelet was great. The "Other potatoes" were pretty good but not outstanding. Gravy on the biscuits and gravy appeared to be instant mix. I'd eat here again. Nice old Route 66 feel and very friendly staff. read more

This is one of my favorite breakfast stops of all time! They have the best chicken fried steak and the portions are extremely generous. I cant wait to try them for dinner. DO NOT COME HERE. I am a part of gen-z so i am not one to complain but holy shit this place was horrible. I went in there with my parents and brother. When we walked in everyone looked at us making me feel very uneasy. We stood there for over a minute until one of the waitresses rudely told us to sit anywhere. She was sitting at a table eating and talking to a customer. The service wasn't the worst but my mom ordered a patty melt and they gave her a chilly cheese burger. My mom is allergic to chilies. A person there ordered the same thing and received the same thing as my mom and the waitress started yelling at him for complaining. The ceiling fans were horribly dirty i wish i had taken a picture i wanted to vomit. i ordered a bean and cheese burrito it was fine but they gave me a salad with it. The chopped tomatoes on top of it tasted like they had been sitting in the freezer forever and the lettuce i was given was wilted and soggy. We saw such great reviews for this place and the experience was horrible. Their chairs were also springy and duct taped together. UPDATE: I've been back twice since my first review and I can't explain what about them exactly but the burgers are the best I've ever had! And they're located right off the highway (easy-on/easy-off) so there's no reason not to stop here. I'm going to have to take the drive to Williams Arizona soon to conduct some business and the first thing that popped into my mind was "Oooh, I get to stop off at the Ranch House on the way back!" Enjoyed a late lunch here this summer during an otherwise nonstop, sweltering drive from Las Vegas en route to Albuquerque. It was nice to get in out of the heat. I had a breakfast-type meal that included French toast, and it was actually very good. Unfortunately, almost everything I touched (silverware, plate, napkins) seemed to have been drizzled with syrup--and I can't stand getting sticky. If you're hankering for something obscure, or you're just absolutely starving, or you just have to use the restroom and can't wait any longer, stop in Ash Fork and try out this little eatery. I love this place, the pork green chili is to die for, I get it on everything. It is a small place with lots of funny signs on the walls, and ranch themed decorations. The service is friendly although there is one waitress that has an annoying habit of standing behind the counter with her back to the dining room.
