Friendly, and delicious. We stopped here for an early breakfast on our long road trip back to California. The green chili is amazing. Coffee was fresh, hot and plentiful. I'm glad we took some time to eat here. If there is any room for improvement, I'd change the gravy. It was a little pasty and bland. Some Italian sausage in it would do wonders. I had the Juevos with "those potatoes". Yum. read more

We stopped here on our way through town. Bradley was our server and he sure took great care of us. There were six of us and we all had burgers. I recommend the green chili cheeseburger, it was tasty. They even made a burger patty with no salt for our hungry puppy. All of this while the place was packed for an all year high school reunion celebration. It was a 50 year reunion with every graduating year invited. What a great idea! Friendly folks here, a great place to stop. read more

Not impressed, the food was bleh and the service was terrible. My husband and I both ordered the frisco burger. It was a thin premade frozen patty. The lettuce was wilted and the only reason it didn't taste horrible was because of the sauce. The frys were very over cooked and didn't have flavor. The iced tea was good but the waitress checked on us once, and was soo busy on her phone and eating at the counter that we couldn't get her to realize we wanted our check till we were about to walk up to the counter. We would of been happier just eating the food we had in our truck. read more

Disappointing! Yelp, you did me wrong. We walked in on a 30° day and it felt like it was only about 10° warmer inside.. to top it off they had the ceiling fans on... really!? So you'd think the food would come out piping hot, right? Nope! The cheese on my Sharon's special wasn't even melted... what's the point!? My husband said his garbage omelette was good, but he'd never complain anyway. My Sharon's special had an orangey looking sauce, not green, and a couple chunks of pork and it wasn't very warm. My daughter had chorizo and eggs, she said it was pretty spicy buy tasty. Overall, I would not recommend this place unless your ok with mediocre, barely warm food in a freezing restaurant. read more

Service was great as well as the food. This is a small diner off of I-40 and it could be missed pretty easily. It's definitely a destination to add in your GPS for any meal! They have breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Very small, not crowded and not busy. Family oriented and the food comes out in a good, timely manner. Definitely will return if I ever make this trip to AZ again! read more

Service was good. Green chili was great! If you pass through, try the Sharon special (has browns topped with the green chili, with cheese and onions)! Apparently there is a $8.99 steak & egg special on Sundays. Just remember that it is a cafe, not some crazy fancy restaurant. read more

Stopped here for breakfast since my hubby was starving and we love trying mom and pop type eateries when we travel. I was surprised to see a 4-star rating in a small town but with that rating I was expecting something good. Walked in about 9 am and was greeted promptly. All but 1 table needed to be bussed. We sat down at the clean table available. Waitress and who we later discovered was the cook proceeded to talk for approximately 5 minutes. The waitress took our drink orders and returned to talking with the cook. It was nearly 20 minutes after walking in that our order was taken and given to the cook. Several other customers came in during that time and each was greeted then the conversation between the waitress and cook continued. Our food, huevos rancheros a house specialty according to the menu, arrived timely and was acceptable, but by no means anywhere near 4-star worthy; even for a small town. All during our 1 hour time there the cook and waitress continued talking to each other loudly enough for everyone in this small cafe to hear. Bathroom was VERY small. Clean seat, but quite worn. Ceiling was discussing. Won't be stopping here again, but our tummies are full. read more

This was the worst restaurant I have ever been in. I should have left when I saw how dirty and disgusting this place was. But the Yelp reviews were good. Are we talking about the same place? The food was gross. I would not recommend anyone eating here unless they were forced to. Gross gross gross!!!! Can't believe all Yelp reviews. These good reviews must have been written by the employees and family members. Haha. read more

Have only eaten breakfast here, but it was really good. The Verde pork chile sauce on the eggs was outstanding. And their biscuits and gravy are yummy too. read more

Cause they have awesome staff abd awesome food the frisco is always amazing the fish fry on fridays is a great deal

I live a few miles from this place. Went there once. Never again. What does that tell you? Low end food. Mid range pricing. Mediocre service. Just not worth it. read more

Warm and friendly service, cute place, decent food. The staff are very approachable and service is quick. This is a small diner in what seems like the middle of nowhere, with funny books at each table and quirky signs on the walls. The food is good, but nothing out of the ordinary. As long as you come here with realistic expectations (do not expect luxury dining), you will be pleasantly surprised. read more

Went to this little place on the way to SoCal. Great burger, interesting book collection and lots to watch on the wall. Neat place!

Delicious food and wonderful service after a strenuous hike at the Grand Canyon. We were tired but mostly hungry and this place delivered, hands down. I totally recommend. read more

We had a fantastic breakfast! The burro was delicious, as well as the Huevos Omelette and biscuit with gravy. The bacon was thick cut, but not very flavorful. We'll definitely stop by again whenever we're in the area! read more

Sharon, whoever she is, has a "Sharon's Special" on the menu which is some of the very best homemade, shredded pork filled, make your nose runny, mildly scorch your toungue Green Chile I have had. Served on top of an order of hashbrowns and topped with melted fresh white mexican and cheddar cheeses. The special comes in a full and half size order if you ask.....and even comes with some really good biscuits and gravy if you ask nicely. read more

Enjoyed a burger meal and the chicken salad. Such a quaint diner. Family owned and loved the servers personality.

I was surprised about how much I'd like the food, lol. Ended up getting the steak and egg breakfast.

Stopped here for breakfast. Quaint old style diner. Place was clean & food was good. Prices were very reasonable

Good tasty food. Most reminded me of my grandma's home cooking. Garbage omelet was great. The "Other potatoes" were pretty good but not outstanding. Gravy on the biscuits and gravy appeared to be instant mix. I'd eat here again. Nice old Route 66 feel and very friendly staff. read more

This is one of my favorite breakfast stops of all time! They have the best chicken fried steak and the portions are extremely generous. I cant wait to try them for dinner. They also have a great green chili pork that I pour over everything. They are quite popular so on the weekends you can expect a wait but it is worth every second. read more

A must stop! Arizona Charm. Quaint. Friendly. And most importantly YUMMY! I had the Sharon. Epic! And the books on the table are laugh out loud funny! Mmmm read more

The real deal. Agree with others that green chili the best. Had huevos and order of pancakes bacon and eggs. Bacon limp but pancakes chewy and good. Huevos delicious. Seems to have a local clientele - friendly service. I would go back if ever this way read more

Great service! Very welcoming. Don't let the town fool you. They are all so nice and friendly. Did I mention... Best food ever!!!!

DO NOT COME HERE. I am a part of gen-z so i am not one to complain but holy shit this place was horrible. I went in there with my parents and brother. When we walked in everyone looked at us making me feel very uneasy. We stood there for over a minute until one of the waitresses rudely told us to sit anywhere. She was sitting at a table eating and talking to a customer. The service wasn't the worst but my mom ordered a patty melt and they gave her a chilly cheese burger. My mom is allergic to chilies. A person there ordered the same thing and received the same thing as my mom and the waitress started yelling at him for complaining. The ceiling fans were horribly dirty i wish i had taken a picture i wanted to vomit. i ordered a bean and cheese burrito it was fine but they gave me a salad with it. The chopped tomatoes on top of it tasted like they had been sitting in the freezer forever and the lettuce i was given was wilted and soggy. We saw such great reviews for this place and the experience was horrible. Their chairs were also springy and duct taped together. You could tell it would be one of those horror restaurants you see on tv. read more

Nice small family restaurant in a small historic town. Made a stop here on my way to Bearizona

Outstanding cheeseburgers, can't wait to go back! The fries and the service were great too...be sure to stop here if you're in or near Ash Fork! UPDATE: I've been back twice since my first review and I can't explain what about them exactly but the burgers are the best I've ever had! And they're located right off the highway (easy-on/easy-off) so there's no reason not to stop here. I'm going to have to take the drive to Williams Arizona soon to conduct some business and the first thing that popped into my mind was "Oooh, I get to stop off at the Ranch House on the way back!" Give this place your business so they continue to prosper...with such great food and great prices, they've definitely earned our business! read more

Stopped here after a trip to Grand Canyon. Based our decision on Yelp reviews and very pleased we did. The service was friendly and welcoming. We ordered burgers which were a hit and the green chili fries (house specialty) we loved them. Very clean inside. If you are driving by and hungry this is a great place to stop. read more

Very good local restaurant. Home cooking yummy omlets. We enjoyed the country motiff and hospitality.

Stopped on the way from Vegas to the Grand Canyon. Totally worth the stop! Food was very good and the staff was so sweet. We thought it might be a little back woodsy if you know what I mean, but we were very wrong. It was a great place and just goes to show you shouldn't judge a book by its cover! Check out the town on Wikipedia so you can go check out the landmarks while you're in town! read more

Enjoyed a late lunch here this summer during an otherwise nonstop, sweltering drive from Las Vegas en route to Albuquerque. It was nice to get in out of the heat. I had a breakfast-type meal that included French toast, and it was actually very good. Unfortunately, almost everything I touched (silverware, plate, napkins) seemed to have been drizzled with syrup--and I can't stand getting sticky. If you're hankering for something obscure, or you're just absolutely starving, or you just have to use the restroom and can't wait any longer, stop in Ash Fork and try out this little eatery. Otherwise, keep heading east and get something in Flagstaff. read more

I love this place, the pork green chili is to die for, I get it on everything. It is a small place with lots of funny signs on the walls, and ranch themed decorations. The service is friendly although there is one waitress that has an annoying habit of standing behind the counter with her back to the dining room. All in all great place, the food is like home cooking, nuf said. read more

Decent, affordable stop that gives you a small close knit community vibe. Stopped here coming from Vegas to Grand Canyon South Rim. Aren't many other options around unless you can wait until you get to Williams. Overall a fine place for a quick, convenient bite. read more

We stopped by on our way from Wichita, KS to home in San Jose, CA. It was great to eat a home cooked meal served with a smile and a cup of Joe. I had the 2 egg & chicken fried steak special and ordered a biscuit with sausage & milk gravy. Awesome Possum! My daughter was entertained with the quirky books so we bought 2. As I was leaving, I noticed the floor. It was a jasper agate that was probably mined locally. Pretty expensive flooring for a little local cafe which added intrigue to the cafe. If you are tired of burgers and fast food come here instead. The town could really use your business. The food is great. read more
