We stopped in for lunch on Saturdayafternoon. Had the French dip and club sandwich. The French fries were delicious. The sandwiches weren't impressive. The service was wonderful. Very clean and cute on the inside. Enjoy! read more

Service was awful, more interested in socializing with their friends the serving customers. The food was less than satisfactory. I would never step back in this establishment again! read more

We were cruising through on I-40 and discovered this resting place for our RV after a 660 mile day. When we woke up, we were yearning for a good breakfast. Enter Ranch Hiuse Cafe! Wonderful food. Hubby had the basic sausage and eggs with "those potatoes", with biscuits and gravy. I opted for the ham and cheese omelette with the same sides. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the omelette was thinly cooked and tasted so delicious! The customer service is friendly and polite. If you're in a hurry, slow down a bit and enjoy this homestyle cooking gem right off the I-40. (You do have to make a loop to get to it as it is on a new bway street) read more

Small ma and pa place in Ash For where I stopped for breakfast. I like hash browns that are crisped and have a texture and crunch, while theirs is more of the mushy variety. The service was friendly. read more

SOOOOOOO delicious! I called ahead for a to-go order for breakfast as we were traveling to CA with our dog - and the customer service was impeccable. Everything was delicious - and there are fresh baked goods that you can buy while you wait for your order! read more

Well OK the food is decent. That's the positive. But was not at all impressed with the brainless waitress. Had to stand around at the entrance maybe 5 minutes until she finally came around to get me a table. I noticed this seemed to be normal for her. She never came by on her own to refill my coffee. Finally I had to get her attention to ask her. Some time goes by until she finally goes to the back to grab the pot. Refilled everyone else and just walked right on by me. A little while later as she walks by again I ask. Goes to get the pot and while refilling there's no acknowledgement, as if she unaware of the situation. In the meantime a couple come in waiting and waiting until they get seated. She gives the both of them only 1 menu and doesn't bother to ask what they want to drink. Some time goes by and finally comes by to take their order and they ask for their drinks. They are sitting there and sitting there with no sign of this dolt getting their drinks ready. Finally another waitress comes to work. She seemed to be much more attentive as she was behind the counter and glanced their direction and saw no drinks. So she asked the original waitress who told her and the 2nd one got them their drinks. I shouldn't have tipped her but stupidly I did! Oh and by the way Mr. Or Mrs mayor. Don't be such a lazy you know what and park elsewhere if you have to. You really have to have your own special parking spot right next to the door? You think you are the hot shot Mayor of some big important city? I'm glad I don't live in this crappy town. read more

Best place to eat. Felicia the owner is bomb. She is super amazing and has done a wonderful job to the place. We stop here 3 times a week on the way home from our late night jobs. read more

In a small town just off Interstate 40 in Northern Arizona (Ashfork) sits a small eatery, with good grub and SUPER friendly staff. We had breakfast there on Friday, June 10th. The hubby had the chorizo & eggs - with hash browns, very good & not greasy. I had pancakes & eggs - tasty fluffy pancakes! Apparently they recently had a cable-TV makeover and the outside does not divulge the inside decor; quite comfy & still rustic. We would definitely recommend it! read more

Our stop is usually in Kingman when leaving the Grand Canyon, but after being treated like an intruder and not welcomed we stopped at Ranch House. Great move and have our new favorite place. Felt welcomed and service with smiles was phenomenal. The food was amazing not to mention the amount of it. Place was clean with sparky clean glassware and silverware and decor inside was cute. Thank you, Ranch House Cafe! read more

OK. I almost missed this place but so glad I found it. I ordered the house special, Huevos Rancheros. It was awsome. So flavorful. And everyone there was friendly and service was great. I will go back for sure. read more

Stopped off at this place on our way back home to California from New Mexico. After being on the road for 4 hours we were famished and wanted a good breakfast. We found this little cafe and decided to check it out. From the outside it looks very small! Once you get inside it's not much bigger but what it lacks in size it makes up for in charm with all the funny little quote signs on the walls and the interior decor. I ordered the chorizo with egg and the house special "those potatoes", which is potatoes with onions and peppers. The plate also came with a large flour tortilla. The food was delicious. The chorizo was not greasy at all and the portion was just right. The coffee tasted fresh and our waitress came by several times to ask if we needed refills. She was very nice and provided great service. I was very pleasantly surprised by this little cafe. It has single stall restrooms and the restroom was also tiny but cute. My boyfriend who is 6'1" laughed because he said the sink came to his knees. Haha! Overall I would recomend this place if you are on the I-40 and looking for a place right off the highway to grab a good bite to eat before heading back on the road. read more

Great place to stop for a quick and amazing meal. Pork green chili is the bomb. Hats off to the chef on the preperation of the sauce that's perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of heat. read more

My family does I were leaving Vegas for the Grand Canyon and decided to look for a brunch spot on the way. Settled on the Ranch House Cafe and what a pleasant surprise!!! To be fair, approaching the cafe is a modest exterior so our group of weary travelers grew nervous. Once inside, we were seated immediately and perused a solid breakfast/lunch menu. We all had different offerings but the burgers were well above average and the breakfast fare (including the 'garbage' omelette) was top notch. Generous portions and the biscuits and gravy were a nice add on. All in all, would highly recommend in this area. read more

I stopped at Ash Fork because I like the name. Dinner was another hamburger; not too bad. Arizona has huge desert landscapes with hills like a wonky blanket, crazy rock formations and even forests. Nearby WIlliams is beautiful, but set up for tourists. We make it to the Grand Canyon just in time for sunset. read more

Absolutely amazing! The outside and inside is quaint and unassuming; however, the food is full local flavors. A true old diner in style and flare. read more

Good food and friendly service. Seat yourself laid back style. What more can you ask of a breakfast spot.

Terrible customer service and place looked unsanitary. Do NOT eat here. If I could give it zero stars, we walked in and walked out.

DO NOT EAT HERE. Worst restaurant I have ever been to. The service was terrible and so was the atmosphere. The waitress just stared at us as we walked in and waited to finish her meal and conversation before attending us. I cannot believe the reviews on here, must be family members or owners leaving all of these positive reviews. The place did not look sanitary at all, the waitress had just finished eating and was approaching our table without washing her hands or wearing a face mask. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. read more

DISGUSTING! Walked in to have a nice breakfast, everything was dirty and very unsanitary. Walked in and were greeted very rudely and told to sit anywhere while the waitress sat there eating. Decided to walk out and take our business elsewhere. Felt very unwelcoming, DO NOT VISIT! read more

The Ranch House cafe is a good place to eat, with good service. My favorite was the Frisco burger but after a recipe change or a cook change my opinion changed and now I just think they have places to sit and for some people, food to eat. read more

Stopped off on the way to Flagstaff, it's one of those middle-of-nowhere cafes that wouldn't get a second glance anywhere else. That said, the food was delicious, the service was super friendly and the break from driving was welcome. Special is green chili (made with green chile peppers and shredded pork), definitely get it if you stop in. The place doubles as a small general store with cigarettes and small items on sale. The walls are decorated with snarky signs like "If ignorance is bliss, why aren't more people happy?" (my fave). If you're looking for a place to stop midway between Las Vegas and Flagstaff, Ranch House Cafe is a pretty good bet. ps odd as they may sound, the Santa Fe egg rolls are quite excellent. fries are also pretty good as well read more

I've been local for almost a year now, and have stopped into the Ranch House a few times. Came in this morning and they must have a new short order cook because my "custom order" came out perfect! I tend to be a little picky with my orders. I ask for light cheese on my omelet, light oil, etc. just to be a little more on the healthy side. Previously they may or may not have done this, but this mornings was spot on! Always friendly service, the lovely ladies up front are always awesome. Thanks for the yummy breakfast guys! read more

I worked there, boss is flaky but food is good and the resteraunt itself is very unsanitary

This place is in Ash Fork, Arizona. We left our class and headed home to Kingman. I hadn't really had lunch and I was hungry. Howard and the guys stop here for breakfast every time they come to Ash Fork to Edgar's property. It is adorable. Howard had the Southwest Turkey Melt. It was great. I had the green chili and. Zucchini. They green chili is so tasty I could have eaten a bowl of it. The zucchini was very good too. If you are in the area or passing this way, do not hesitate to stop. You will love the ambiance and the food. Run don't walk to try this place. read more

Staff is awesome. Food is delicious. Restaurant is clean. I had the Garbage Omelette with those potatoes and a biscuit with gravy. It did not disappoint at all. Cute little cafe . Food good restaurant clean worth a stop definitely a nostalgic part of Ashfork

Unassuming exterior, EXCELLENT hamburger. Kid loved his grilled cheese. We are both hard to please. :)

Had the breakfast special which was steak and eggs with potatoes and toast. Pretty great price too. It was well cooked and everything tasted fine. The waitress was very nice and came over enough to check on us. $17 for 4 people, of course the kids shared with us, but not bad for a little restaurant off the road. The signs all inside the restaurant are so cute and are for sale. read more

Like many other reviewers, we stopped on our way through the area. I love little hole in the wall, family owned restaurants, and this one delivered. Hubby had the turkey melt, and I had the roast beef green chili melt - mine was a house specialty. We each had a salad, and I ordered a side of fries to share. The salad was nothing to write home about, just a little iceberg jobby. The sandwiches and fries, however, were fantastic. The melts were fried to perfection, not at all soggy, and mine included a health dose of carmelised red onions. I'm glad I also ordered fries, as just the sandwiches and salads may not have filled us up. They were hefty, not as big as steak fries, and so crispy good. Sadly, we were not able to finish them because we were filled up about halfway through. Oh, and super nice staff - great little place. read more
