Normally, when I eat at a restaurant where I expect to pay around $250 or more, I expect a certain level of food quality and service. I'm not necessarily expecting that they have a Michelin star or two, but I do expect that the food will be paced appropriately for the meal courses that I ordered. This is reasonable, since no one likes to feel rushed when they are out for a date or with friends. There is a flow to conversation with food, that I believe is important, and a restaurant that pays attention to this has a higher level of service in my opinion. Unfortunately, this did not happen the way I expected it to. When we were seated, we were asked to order our meals all at once. As I have read from other reviews, this is common here, and seems reasonable, however I think this led to the pacing issues that we experienced. I don't believe the service staff have quite figured this model out yet, since I think it puts the pressure on the kitchen staff to pace the food. This led to everything coming out to the table all at once. I don't know if this is the result of the service staff not pacing what they send to the kitchen or the opposite, but I would expect that there are mechanisms that could be put into place to fix this easily. Until this is fixed, I removed a star. From the moment I entered the restaurant, I felt rushed. I absolutely dislike going to restaurants that make you feel like your just a table to be turned. Maybe it's just related to the Ambiance of the restaurant, or how new the staff is behaving, I'm not sure. With the kitchen and staff situated right next to where people are eating, the frantic staff makes it difficult to relax. This, again, can be mitigated with experienced staff. I have been in restaurants with an open kitchen before, and I firmly believe that if the staff is hyper aware that they are "on stage" so to speak, that how they project themselves to the customers matters. For being rushed I removed another star. Again, with the price point, I expect everything served to be at a higher quality, and for the most part, I wasn't completely displeased, however we did order the Crispy Brussel Sprout side and I must say that needs a lot of work. It was dry, and burnt. There is a difference between crispy and burnt. I have read in other reviews that this is a similar occurrence. On the balance, the Beef Wellington I personally did like. Admittedly, I'm not very educated on this dish, but the presentation was good, the potato purée was fantastic, and the beef was perfect. I do think they could have added more root vegetables and though I thought they could have been a bit more generous with the red wine demi, it was delicious, and there wasn't enough of it for the entire course. I wrote earlier about the feeling of being "rushed" in the beginning of the meal, however throughout the meal I felt a little neglected. At the price point of this restaurant, I do expect the management to at least touch the table once. This never happened, many restaurants make it a habit to touch the table multiple times throughout the meal. The waiter was rarely at the table, and several times I fealty as though I was searching for them. An observant staff will support one another and understand the unspoken queues. I think this is where the more experienced staff will shine. For the food and service, and since they weren't horrible, I only removed one more star. Over all, I don't think this restaurant warranted the price yet, and I do understand this restaurant is new as is the staff, so they have some room to grow. If they can keep improving they will get there, and when they do, I will improve my review score. In a few months, I plan on returning to see if this is the case. read more

My boyfriend and I ate here for the second time yesterday and we will definitely come back for a third! The service is beyond fantastic and the food is even better!! I would highly recommended the broccolini, burger, and truffle fries! I'm not sure what sauce they give with the burger/fries, but it was the best sauce we've ever had! The only downside is that it cost $87 for two burgers and an appetizer, but with the quality of the food, I'm more than happy to pay the outrageous prices! read more

Visited March 23, 2024 for the first time. Wow, this place was hopping. We came for a quick drink and sat at the bar where we were mesmerized by the bartender and his immense talents making beautiful craft cocktails. I had an amazing, Espresso, sea salt caramel martini. It tasted just like a dark chocolate candy bar. Mmmmmmm We also enjoyed some creamy cheesecake, topped by lots of blueberries, in a pool of lemony sauce. Mmmmmm Service was excellent especially noted on such a busy Saturday and we will return to enjoy dinner in the future. My eye is definitely on that beef Wellington. 10 Stars to this establishment. We dined here on Thursday, June 8th and I'm still trying to wrap my head around what a let down of an experience this was. This place doesn't seem to have an identify. The atmosphere feels upscale casual, but the service staff is overly proper and uptight. That was the first thing that went wrong. Also, the AC was on full blast, and it was freezing in the restaurant. The cocktails were good. We ordered all our food at once, like they suggested. They informed us that they were out of parker house rolls after we put our order in (rolls, tuna tartar, fish & chips, spring pasta). We then substituted with the mushrooms, which were good. The tuna tartare was good too. Then when we were supposed to be getting our main entrées, they informed us that they were out of fish & chips. When we expressed this to the manager that this was the second thing, we ordered that was out, then they magically seemed to have the rolls available. Huh? We ended up ordering the lobster pot pie to substitute for them being out of fish & chips. The Lobster Pot Pie & Spring Pasta were nothing special. I did not like the food very much and thought it was mediocre food with a premium price tag. We ended up not getting dessert because we weren't having a good experience. While it was nice that they comped the mushroom, I was incredibly underwhelmed. read more

This was truly disappointing. Had the privilege of trying Hells Kitchen in Vegas and was blown away. Took my daughter here for her birthday. Waitress asked if we were celebrating anything special. Why bother doing that if you arent going to put any effort into recognizing that. My daughter's $80 filet came out with absolutely no seasoning to it. The steak had zero taste. It was taken out of a box and cooked. My $90 dollar Wellington was the same way. This totally reflects on the head chef at this establishment. Either his staff isn't trained or they don't respect him. I surely can't believe this is how he would make himself a steak. After appetizers, salads, main course, drinks and desserts the bill was just shy of $400. I don't have a problem spending that on something really good. This was something you would expect at Fridays. In today's market where people are watching their money you aren't going to be able to survive on a name. We wandered in here on a Saturday night and they were able to work us in. I have a healthy skepticism of celebrity chef enterprises, so my expectations were middling. I have to say, the food was outstanding. For a while when we lived in the PNW I endeavored to make the world's most perfect crab cake, and RK has absolutely nailed those. I cannot say enough good things about our experience. From the restaurant itself with the decor and ambience to the flavor explosions on our pallets. I am absurdly impressed with the response to my notes that I made on my reservation. When I made them, I honestly didn't think anyone would pay attention to them, and was pleasantly surprised when our waiter knew everything that we were there for, and congratulated everything that we were celebrating. I feel like our group of six had the best table in the house and we loved our entire experience. The one thing that I would have even a tiny complaint about is the chicken entrée that we ordered WAS my favorite thing out of the five entrées that we had, and four appetizers. (Actually all the desserts were my favorite) But when it comes to the food portion, my first bite of the chicken was phenomenal but it became my least favorite aside from the salmon because I just don't like fish. And the reason it became my least favorite was the chicken at one part of it was over salted and almost inedible, I ate it because once I had it with the other items on the plate, it was palatable, but it was hard to eat. It should be said that it was only on certain portions of the piece of chicken that we received. The parts that were salted normally were absolute perfection. I prefer a less oily fish & chips but I have a personal thing for excess oil. And I wished for more with the Parker rolls (they were great flavor, salted butter was perfect but I didn't get any herb flavor. It was so enjoyable to watch the chefs do their craft and I think that is such a cool thing about your restaurant. Also want to make note of the serving plates and utensils. The porcelain was awesome and the steak knives were some of the best feeling knives I've ever had in my hands. My afterthoughts aside from all of the positive things that I've already said, and will stay here in a moment is of how much I wish more people had access to this restaurant and experience. I am left, feeling extremely privileged that we were able to save up the money to come and have this experience as a family. And I know that something like this is not feasible for a lot of people, and it left me feeling kind of ambivalent honestly. But I do understand that's more of a societal thing and not necessarily an issue of your establishment. The last thing I want to highlight is your staff. The gentleman that was managing that night, I didn't catch his name, was warm and attentive. He helped bring our food to our table, and I also spoke to him privately before we left about our server and he was personable and awesome. Now about our server. I cannot say enough good things about Dylan. He was beyond phenomenal. And I know it's his job and I know that you guys probably pay him well to do his job, but I feel like he executed everything that he was supposed to do with excellence. We didn't have to really ask for anything. He knew everything that we were there to celebrate, and he answered every question that we had about the food. He engaged in polite and friendly conversation with us. He was warm and inviting, and is seriously amazing at his job and I feel like he's probably a pretty great human in general. When we save up some money and are able to come back again it is my hope that Dylan is still there so that we can request him as our server because he was seriously amazing! Thank you for this memory, we will carry it with fondness. Also didn't have a pic of the sticky toffee pudding but it was one of our favorite things all night. We're fan of Chef Ramsay (and of food in general), but had tempered expectations, only because we didn't want to unfairly adjust up given Ramsay's notoriety. This turned out to be unnecessary, and we were thrilled with our experience! Food was fantastic, and we appreciated the ability to split a salad as an appetizer. We were very impressed by the outcome of putting in our full order in at once, each course was timed perfectly, and we never wanted for anything, it was only a few minutes between courses, just enough for the last bite to settle. Ambiance is warm, not too noisy, and quite comfortable. It was enjoyable to hear the kitchen staff interact, but it was not at all distracting. Went for an anniversary dinner. Everything about this restaurant was amazing from the greeting to the service and especially the food. Everyone communicated and our host and server both congratulated us which was sweet. We sat in the middle of the restaurant and had of view of the kitchen which was fun to see. My boyfriend went to the bathroom while awaiting the food and they folded his napkins back up while he was gone! Food and drinks came out so quickly. I am extremely disappointed in this restaurant. I have been to a number of Gordon Ramsay restaurants and this was, by a large margin, the worst. I have high expectations when it's a Gordon ramsay restaurant especially when the cost of eating there is quite high! Food--the food wasn't great. For the price we paid for dinner, I had expected amazing meals. They were meh. The beef Wellington was dry and there was a significant lack of generosity in the dish. How about adding more than a tablespoon of the sauce? It was not enough considering how dry it was. The potatoes were good but also a small amount. And there were 4 tiny veggies on the plate. We also ordered the scallops which were edible but not really special. The only really good part was the sticky toffee pudding. Service--I do not like feeling rushed. From the minute we sat down, it was like everything was super rushed. I didn't like it. I don't go to nice restaurants to rush through and leave right away. The kicker for me was that the waitress kept coming to "collect our check". It was empty because we were finishing up and chatting. She did this 4-5 times in a span of 10 minutes. I don't know what they're trying to do but it's not great. Customer service after--I have since contacted the Gordon Ramsay customer relations with my feedback and was met with an extremely generic response. I suppose whoever is responding to concerns doesn't care enough about each customer to reach out and personally deal with them. Then the most infuriating thing.... The customer relations person wrote "If you are interested in connecting with our team about your experience, I'd be happy to pass along your phone number." Umm...I just did reach out about my experience? Why is this person asking me if I want them to give my number to the team? Isn't that person part of the team? I don't understand. I love Gordon Ramsay but I hated this restaurant, the service, and the ridiculous response to my concerns after. I think they are relying too heavily on Gordon's name to make up for all the mistakes and lackluster food being served!! Tartare was decent, salads were good - sadly the mains were a huge disappointment. The feature steak Diane had an off taste - almost hamburger ish. The beef Wellington separated from the pastry - the tenderloin was cooked ok but flavorless. We spent around $450 for a very subpar experience. From start to finish the experience was amazing. Our server Zach set the tone for evening and the food did not disappoint. We were celebrating our one year anniversary and we're super excited coming here. The fish and chips with the triple cooked chips were the best I've ever had. Went to Ramsays for an anniversary and we could not be happier! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with kindness and seated promptly! We sat right by the kitchen line, so it was really cool to watch them work. Chef, expo, service lead, and cooks operated like a machine. All food came out HOT and never sat in the window for more than a few seconds. The cooks changed their gloves with literally every dish! Very impressive. Our server SHANNON was incredible! So professional yet relatable and very knowledgeable of the menu and the restaurant. Dontrail, another server near her section was also great! He never stopped moving. Whether it was filling ice buckets for the bar, assisting in running food while still serving his own section like a boss! Now food- we went ALL out: Crab cake- never in my life have I had a crab cake with so much actual crab in it! Mushrooms- so great! As an appetizer or an addition to your meal Beef Wellington- obviously phenomenal! Salmon- cooked to perfection. The sauce had dollops of this green acidic stuff, doesn't look like much but it made the dish! Baked Mac and cheese- chefs kiss ALL food was perfectly paired with the purée or sauce. Highly recommend! Five star dining experience one would expect from a Gordon Ramsay restaurant. Both of our visits have been exceptional.

Chicken wings were tough, shrimp scampi was tender, flavorful and delicious. Beef Wellington was juicy, and crust had a decent taste. The salmon lacked seasoning and taste. It was cooked perfectly (as Gordon would say, beauuutifully) but felt like salted salmon with cauliflower puree. Service was good and the sticky toffee pudding is out of this world. (As Gordon would say, absolutelllyy delicious) Overall, the dishes look better on Hell's Kitchen and masterchef, but don't live up to the hype in person... much better places in Naperville and city. read more
