Black Garlic Tonkotsu bottom and Spicy Miso Ramen top

Honestly not the best ramen I have had but in the only ramen spot in Japan Village this is a must after lots of shopping. Ordering process was easy and the wait for the ramen wasn't long. I like that you can come back and grab a few things from other places before settling in with your ramen. I ordered the black truffle tonkotsu ramen and the spicy miso ramen. The tonkotsu definitely melted my heart as there weren't any seats inside and we had to kick it outside for seating. The spicy miso ramen is definitely spicy as well which is a good surprise! Definitely put up a good fight against the cold and honestly this really hit the spot. I prefer this over most of the other stalls in Japan Village and wholeheartedly say I'm grateful you are in industry city.

Such good classic ramen in the neighborhood. Love the flavorful broth and large portions, especially with the meat which is so rare! Cute little sitting area as well.

This is my favorite ramen place in Japan Village. Setagaya Ramen in Japan Village offers authentic Japanese ramen with a unique broth. Their renowned broth, particularly the Shio (salt) broth, uses dried fish, kelp, and chicken for a delicate, seafood flavor. Setagaya Ramen's Black Garlic DX Ramen features a savory, salty, and subtly sweet broth, perfectly complementing the toppings and noodles. This rich and bold ramen blends traditional Japanese flavors with the distinctive taste of black garlic. My favorite is still the Black Garlic Dx Ramen. You order at the counter and staff was friendly and quick. This is a perfect spot for ramen if you visit Japan Village. There's not a lot of seatings but there's definitely lots of customers stopping by here for their delicious ramen.

So I'm always skeptical of trying ramen I don't know why just am but I was in the mood it was cold wet and rainy. And the black garlic ramen bowl Omgish so delicious me and my partner got one to share she ended up getting her own. The pork pieces wow so delicious I didn't want my bowl to end I wiped in clean. I will for sure be coming back here when I'm back in this area. For sure must try don't skip it. Parking outside was difficult to find and you have to pay. Wasn't so busy inside. Very nice and helpful service as well

I was staying at a nearby hotel in Brooklyn and came here for dinner. I ordered their classic tonkotsu ramen. With the thin straight noodles, it reminded me a bit of the ramen from Shinsengumi back home. I've had good ramen of various styles both in the States and in Japan. Some of the other reviews were a bit harsh. It wasn't the best bowl of ramen, but it definitely wasn't the worst that I've had. Unfortunately, these days with inflation, $15 for a bowl of ramen is considered cheap. Please keep in mind that ramen is inexpensive food. Don't come here with unrealistic expectations especially since this is in a food court and not a Michelin star restaurant. Here's a little history of this restaurant: https://www.setagayany.com/

This ramen place is located within Industry City Japan Village across from Sunrise Mart. You place the order at the counter. We ordered Spicy Miso Ramen & Classic Tonkatsu Ramen, you add drinks as well. There's seating however, keep in mind the place can get really busy and there might be guarantee seating if you come on a weekend. We came on a Friday afternoon. Ramen was delicious! Would recommend coming back! Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambience: 5/5

I absolutely love the Mt fuji Ramen. My friends call it spaghetti ramen since it's basically tomato and Parmasean, but I love the combination of tomato and cheese with chili flakes in my ramen. I had it in japan before and it was my absolute favorite type of ramen style so I'm very happy to have this close to me at home in the states.

Affordable and amazingly delicious. I was craving ramen for the longest and this hit the spot. I got the classic tonkotsu and my cousin got the black garlic tonkotsu. We were extremely impressed to how perfectly charred and crisped the tonkotsu was. The broth was rich and noodles were al dente. It is a small with limited seating but there is bar seating. Service was great and accommodating.

This restaurant makes you feel like you're in an actual ramen shop in Japan. The booth was a cozy place, well furnished and overall, relaxing. But nothing beats the ramen! I had the Classic Tonkotsu Ramen (my favorite ramen) and hands down it was gratifying! The perfect meal for a chilly day. The staff were friendly and fast; best service I'd ever experienced. Definitely worth the visit!

Conveniently located in the Japan village food hall (actually it's one of the first stores you see after you enter on 3rd Ave). Went with the classic tonkotsu which felt was fairly priced at $14. Ample seating. Clean. Fast receipt of food. Noodles were fresh. 2 large pieces of charsu In my order. Decent portion size.

Look at the wealth of ingredients!

A very hefty and warm bowl of ramen infused with an incredibly flavorful scent of garlic! My total ended up being around 21 dollars for both the black garlic tonkotsu deluxe with a side of extra pork, which equated to a small bowl of ramen from the Michelin star ramen shop Tsuta at Dumbo. This ramen tasted 10x as good as the one from Tsuta and came with a wealth of flavorful ingredients! The picture speaks for itself and I couldn't have been happier with this bowl of ramen to keep me warm while I travel home during the cold winter breeze! Definitely a must-try if you haven't yet! Thank you for reading and good luck! (:

    MT.Fuji Ramen ( )

Overall although a bit pricey, the ramen was quite nice. The texture of the noodles were good, but the chashu toppings were even better. If you're a fan of strong flavors the dark garlic tonkatsu is the way to go. The Mt. Fuji, contrary to its unique appears was quite lackluster in terms of flavor.

Mt. Fuji parmesan ramen. Creamy goodness.

Used to like this ramen spot when in St Marks. the quality definitely gone down and became salty and the noodles have this alkaline taste.

Do they do delivery ? I don't see that there's a phone number

If you use a third party app like Seamless or doordash I would think so.

To start, I ordered their matcha lemonade, which was super refreshing with a well-balanced matcha flavor. We also had the cucumbers with onion dressing, and they were delicious -- the dressing paired perfectly with the crisp cucumbers. The fingerling potatoes were buttery and flavorful, and we also ordered the curry wings, which were very good. The curry flavor was subtle and paired really well with the parmesan cheese, giving them a savory depth without being overpowering. For my main, I had their steak ramen, which was a collaboration they were featuring at the time, and it's probably one of the best bowls of ramen I've ever had. The broth was incredibly flavorful, the steak was cooked perfectly, the egg was beautifully seasoned, and the shoestring potatoes added such a great crunch. I'm honestly going to be dreaming about that ramen. I'd highly recommend making a reservation. This place is absolutely worth it.

My husband had the kaishin don, I had the Ozakaya donburi set and our girls shared the shoyu tonkatsu ramen. The fish was so incredibly fresh here and the rice was seasoned perfectly. My donburi set also came with dashi broth that the waitress later brought over to pour on top of the leftover rice in my bowl to be enjoyed at the end of the meal. The broth and rice combination was really comforting and satisfying. This dish was something I wanted to try in Japan but did not get a chance to experience when there, so I was excited to try it at Ozakaya. I was really pleasantly surprised by the ramen here as well. Although the pork could have been better/more tender, the broth was rich and seasoned so well and not too salty like other places. Last but not least, the service here was excellent and efficient. I would definitely come back here the next time I visit Brooklyn as there were many dishes on the menu I wanted to try!
