    Tonkatsu white

Great option inside this food hall attached to Mitsuwa Market: I believe this stall is related to Yama Izakaya & Sushi. I ordered their Tonkotsu White. It's a very rich tonkotsu pork broth topped w/ chashu, bamboo shoots, wood ear mushroom and green onion. Really rich, almost a little too salty for my taste but the ramen noodle was cooked really well. The ladies behind the counter were all friendly and smoky the whole time. This is a counter service where they can take your order thru the tablet or from one of the ladies working on the counter. I'd try a lesser rich broth next time and maybe I'd like that more.

My favorite ramen place in dfw! We love visiting the Mitsuwa food hall for their delicious food and desserts especially the ramen! I have tried varios flavors such as the creamy veagan which I definitely recommend to everyone even non vegan or non dairy free people. Recently I've been getting the Tokyo shoyu ramen which was delicious and I also purchased the plain friend rice to share with my 1 year old which was also delicious. The service is always great, I definitely recommend this place!

    Omelette Fried Rice $10.99

The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is because I've only had one dish so far. But let me tell you, the Omelette Fried Rice is the BEST!!! I just polished off the leftovers (it was a huge serving!) and they were as delicious as the very first bite. Tons of flavor, an amazing mix of ingredients, crab, and a wonderfully rich broth. I'm already wondering when I can go back and order it again! The staff was also so friendly and nice! The only complaint I have is more with Mitsuwa having the worst chairs ever in the eating area but that's not Ramen Kabukiya's fault lol

Portions are on the smaller side but still reasonable at this location inside Mitsuwa's food court. Ramen broth was excellent and I really liked their summer cold lemon ramen, but the fried rice I tried most recently was just okay. I definitely wouldn't have ordered it had I known it was just ground beef, but that's my mistake. Will probably just stick with noodles here in the future.

FOOD Tonkatsu Shoyu Ramen - It was pretty bland overall. Little to no flavor within the broth. The egg was alright, a bit more on the well done side and not super super runny. Noodles were alright. Overall really mid and not super worth the wait. Meat was pretty scant with only one thin piece. Wagyu Beef Fried Rice - Rice was alright. It was a bit on the mushier side but flavor was more there than in the ramen. The beef tastes pretty alright too. I definitely liked the rice over the ramen. Overall, it might have been just the rush of the event with all the orders, but the food was pretty mid. I probably wouldn't come back for ramen unless they improve with the flavor. VIBES Ramen Kabukiya is located in Mitsuwa's Food Court. On the weekends it's usually crowded with lots of families and friends. It gets pretty loud. We went during an event where it was so crowded. Seating consists of several smaller tables with metal chairs. SERVICE They had a promotion that day where there was a $5 menu that lots of people were ordering for. It was impressive how many orders they were pushing out. Somehow they had skipped over my order and it took around 25 minutes to get food and people who ordered after me were getting food way before me. I went up to them and it took probably another 10 minutes to get food, but they were nice and gave me some complimentary fried rice for waiting and missing my order. I would say service pretty good and people were nice besides just the little mess-up with my order.

This store was located in a Japanese food court, so there was no service, and the ambiance was typical of a Japanese food court. The ramen was solid and good. I liked the texture of the thick yellow noodles, and the flavor of the soup was also very flavorful. This is certainly a good place for a solid bowl of ramen.

Not sure what's going on to this restaurant recently. I used to get Tonkotsu spicy and it was always on par to average standard. I tried again recently and it was quite awful. There is one piece of braised pork and small half boiled egg. This alone costs $14. Then, they used spaghetti for my ramen!! See pic. I won't come back and gave start for their location, good customer service, and rich broth.

This liver with nira stir fry was delish! I always enjoy the food court at mitsuwa but this was one of my fav dishes.

The tofu Very nice and flavorful! The white rice was also made good too. Complements to the tofu nicely. Their goyza a is also pan fried with a nice crisp. Only thing is that they're a little slow at getting the food out, but the food is worth the wait .

This restaurant is located within the Mitsuwa supermarket's food court. The decor includes stylish Japanese-style paintings on the walls, which add a cool ambiance. We ordered the tonkotsu ramen and soy sauce ramen. The flavors are more localized for the American palate compared to authentic Japanese ramen, with the tonkotsu being mild and the noodles softer. While it's not traditional, it's easy to eat and fits well within the context of a food court.

I was in Japan 41 years ago and ate wonderful foods while there. Then, decades later, I recently found Ramen Kabukiya and ordered the Beef and Fried Rice and my taste buds were instantly transported back to the authentic flavors of Japan, and it brought back such wonderful memories. This is my new favorite restaurant here in the Mitsuwa Marketplace at Legacy and I-75

This was some of the best customer service I've experienced! The gyoza is amazing, highly recommend. The spicy umami ramen is also great.

The karaage really didn't need any sauce, tasted fine by itself. The taro chips were quite addictive, good for scooping the salad. Miso ramen broth was not too creamy; pork belly was a little bit on the leaner side. Abura ramen (brothless) is a nice option during hot weather - ginger garlic sauce gave the noodles good flavor since it's broth-less & the noodles weren't drenched; the tonkatsu had a nice crisp. Other sauce & protein options available as well. Will try other menu items next time!

Upon entering the restaurant, we were led to a kiosk to place our order before sitting down at a table. We ordered the potstickers, abura ramen (brothless), and ramen in a blanket (ramen sandwiched between two tonkatsus), plus they gave us an order of the short ribs on the house! To start, the potstickers were very good and I liked that the filling was braised pork as opposed to the traditional ground pork, but the short ribs were on the tougher side. Moving onto the ramens, I really enjoyed my abura ramen; the flavors were great and the house pickles were a refreshing touch! However, while the ramen in a blanket is a unique take, we wish there was some sort of dipping sauce on the side because the tonkatsus were a bit bland otherwise.

The restaurant wasn't busy at the time, so it was no big deal, but worth noting. The service was actually the highlight of the night, and earned this review one additional star simply because of the effort involved. Else it would be a 3 star review. There was only one server running the entire front of house while the restaurant got progressively busier, and only two chefs in the kitchen. Despite being swamped, the server worked her tail off. She didn't mess up a single order for our large group and kept things moving. I greatly appreciated her hard work. Appetizers (5/5): The wait for food was noticeable due to the staffing, but the appetizers were worth it. We ordered the Edamame, Yatai Gyoza, Agedashi Tofu, and Takoyaki, and all of them were delicious. Entrees (3/5): Unfortunately, the main courses were a bit basic compared to the starters. The Tonkotsu Ramen was strictly average; I've definitely had better broth and noodles elsewhere. If you are looking for the top-tier quality izakaya, Mr. Max Izakaya in Irving is hands down better option. However, you have to wait an hour for a table there.

We had scouted it out online, looking for a ramen place near where we were staying in Plano. Unassuming on the front, the inside is an amazing atmosphere with a vibe straight from a Shinjuku street stall. The wait staff was polite, and very nice. The chef was working away inside the replica street stall. The food arrived quickly, and was delicious! So much flavor! Everything new was somehow even better than the dish we tried before it. So good, so tasty! If we come back for another visit, Yatai is now on our list of restaurants to eat at again!
