The only reason I'm not giving them one star is because their takoyaki wasn't horrible. We ordered through the tablet and specified our order in detail. That's why I'm not entirely sure how they messed it up so badly. We ordered: Chicken meatballs - couldn't tell you how they taste. They ended up grilling us the pork belly instead. Luckily, my child isn't a picky eater and he ate it. Takoyaki - it was ok. Not bad but nothing special Chicken thigh - it was literally a chicken thigh, sliced open with the bone still in and skewered. Not sure why the meat wasn't cut off the bone and then threaded onto the skewer Spam musubi - no sauce, seasoning, or dusting of furikake on the rice. Sliced piece of spam on top wasn't basted either. Teriyaki sauce on the side - this is what really made me want to give a frank review. I didn't think that this meant don't season or baste any of the meat. But apparently, that's what it means. Not only that, but they gave us the spicy teriyaki sauce. I'll take the blame in that I should've tried it before I dipped the meat into it to feed to my child. But I didn't, so he sat there suffering. The dining in portion is part of the open hall concept and everyone is considerate here so that's not an issue. They're lucky that's the case because I would hate to see them trying to also manage bussing and serving tables if they can't even get our order correct. The food also took forever and I don't understand why. We decided that we're never going to be ordering food from here again. I advise that if you choose to, triple check your order when you go to pick it up at the counter. Check every single detail, line by line, and don't leave until you make sure. read more

I came here on the weekend and got a gyudon with cheese. Gyudon is one of my favorite dishes but the execution is difficult because unless the cut of the beef and the cook of the beef is done well, the beef will come out very tough and chewy. This was the case for me when I ate here. Unfortunate. The portion was good and the people were nice. read more

My wife & I came here for lunch. In the past they were wonderful the food was tasty and correctly cooked and prepared. This time was horrible. The meat (gyu-don) was thick and not sliced correctly and tough. The chicken wings were dried and over cooked. The server was okay. I would not recommend this place again. read more

AMAZING Best food I've had since Japan. The Katsu is delicious, and I highly recommend the Chicken Karaage! They also have Asai beer on tap, very cold and refreshing! The service is amazing, and you have the option to self-order at the kiosk, or order at the register. Their Takoyaki is also very delicious! Quick and delicious!! Ordered at the kiosks up front. I had the chicken tempura combo, which came with chicken, some lettuce, miso soup, and rice. The chicken was delicious and crispy! Very generous portion size as well. I also ordered the dashi negi oroshi takoyaki, which was just okay. It came with soup, which made the takoyakis soggy at the bottom. Ordered Chicken Katsu Curry and Pork Belly skewers for delivery via UberEats. Not bad overall. Arrived nicely packaged with the curry separated from the rice and chicken so nothing would get soggy. Portions were good, gave plenty of curry and rice to make it a filling dish. Pork Belly skewers were ok. The sauce wasn't too bad but would have liked the option to get the salt and sauce and not just one or the other. The curry had a nice, mild spice and I bet tastes even better fresh! First bite was fine, second bite was fine, but then it became a drag and I had to drink lots of water. Shrimp was overcooked. Portion size was OK. First off, the taste is fine. Ordering was easy--it was via the tablet off to the left. The really disappointing part was the price for the quantity. That pork cheek skewer was 3$... don't expect the size of the skewer shops that you might be used to. The pork cheek we got it salted and the gizzard we got the regular sauce on it. You can definitely taste the grill off these meats, just really wish there was a little more on those puny sticks. The eel, same thing, wish it was either priced a little less or provide more eel. I wish I could give this a higher rating, but waited for almost 20 minutes on their recommended dish: Seafood Creamy Udon. It was a bit salty for my taste, however the consistency of cream broth was good. Shrimp and Squid were a touch overcooked, my jaw hurts after chewing them down. They have touch pad to place orders (if paying by credit card) to the left of their stall however, it wasn't that obvious for other customers who were looking to order. Plus only 1 out of the 2 touch pads were working. In comparison to hearing your order number called, Totto Yama's announcement was hardly ever clear nor audible enough for patrons to hear if they were across the food court. All of the other food stalls were able to announce a customer's order without confusion. Plenty of room for improvement. read more

I ordered the gyudon bowl today for around $8.50 pre tax. At first I thought the price is ok, but once I actually received my food I felt like it was definitely not worth it. The ratio of the actual beef to the onions was about 0.5:1. I was disappointed to see that there was barely any beef. There was maybe 3 spoonful of the thin sliced beef and the rest was oily onions and then the rice. Even the rice was hard to finish because of how much oil was used to stir fry the beef and onions and dumped into the bowl with the sauce. The taste was mediocre, too much oil that overpowered the flavor. The sweet/savory flavor was balanced ok, but the amount of oil in there ruined it. My brother got the kara age chicken bento, and the menu says the chicken is soy sauce marinated but the chicken came out with no flavor. I don't recommend getting either the beef bowl or kara age chicken. Don't have high hopes for their other dishes either. read more

Other than preparing the food, there is no service and you are required to bring your food tray back to the dirty dishes bin. Hubby and I ordered curry katsu, yakitori, taikoyaki, and ume onigiri. The food is okay, equating it to mall food court level. The home made onigiri was huge and hard to eat as a "hand held" food. The prices are a bit high for food court food. At first the curry sauce tasted a little sour. Which is different to what I'm used to. But if you take a bite with the sauce, chicken, and pickled relish, the flavors all work really well together. This place is new in this food court so I wanted to try it out. It is a few bucks cheaper from the place across too and they have a kiosk for orders too so you don't have to walk up to the front to order. The food came out relatively fast.
