Big, open bar area with plenty of TV's to watch your favorite sport. Slow for a Friday afternoon but no complaints. Service was quick and efficient. Wasn't that hungry so I chose an appetizer and whenever I see finger steaks on a menu, I have to give them a try. Breading was good and the cook/fry on them was perfect. Not too soft, not too hard. The portion of steak was also spot on. Came with a honey mustard type dipping sauce that wasn't bad but I'm more of a ranch guy. French fries were ho-hum. And last but not least.... The beer. Tasty, cold, and yummy. Good amber ale and being a brewery, a lot to choose from.

I was tired of trying to find parking downtown, so ended up here where there is a private parking lot. As we walked in, I glanced at the reviews and noted that they were mediocre. I shrugged it off and figured I'd give it a try anyway. The service was a bit off-like they were going through the motions and not super into it. We were not checked on or drinks refilled during the meal. We were there on a Friday at 3:00, and it wasn't crowded at all. Both my wife and I felt like our food was just ok. The fries were pretty good, but the chicken fingers and french dip were both less than tasty. In fact, we only ate about half. The server asked if we wanted boxes, which we declined. This is probably not a place I'd hurry back to. But that private parking lot is appealing.

We arrived after a long drive from out of state, about 9pm for a late dinner. We were seated quickly & narrowed down our preferences. I ordered the Black & Blue A5 Wagyu Burger with sweet potato fries. I am still dreaming about this burger two weeks later! So so yummy! The little fried onions made it next-level yummy! Bacon would have been a nice addition, but honestly, I didn't miss it! The beef was SO flavorful.

One of the worst Cesar salads I've ever had. And everything here was way over priced. Also, maybe we came at a weird downtime and maybe our waitress was overworked but even the service was meh. I will say they didn't charge us for our soda water which is huge in my book and the sweet potato fries were delicious. But I wouldn't recommend Ram based on prices alone.

Giving it a High Five stars ... relative to the outside seating and beer only. Staff was great, the outside seating is awesome and the Idaho Blonde beer is always a safe bet.

This is a "well done" sirloin, cold fries and colder vegetables.

The server was excellent but the food was a no. The manager had to comp the entire meal. We paid for drinks so we could leave a tip. The pineapple margarita was watered down. It was during happy hour and a red flag should have been less than 10 ppl in attendance and they were all over 55. The appetizer was undercooked and came with the meal, when we asked for it to be redone it looked like it was put back in the fryer. It can back to our table totally burnt. The steak was burnt on the outside and pink on the inside. No flavor. The fries and vegetables were ice cold also no flavor. Not even salted. The burger and fries were over cooked and somehow still cold. The kracken platter - shrimp was over done and rubbery, the cod was mushy. Again all sides were cold and the fries were freezer burnt. The manager seemed not surprised that he had to comp the meal which was sad and in our way out we noticed they were hiring. Not sure if the food quality was impacted by an uncaring line cook, an unqualified line cook or a little bit of both. Overall we just went to Panda Express. Yeah - from the Ram to Panda Express. For a meal. I'm sure there are better options but we were tired, a little disillusioned by the experience and just wanted to get back to the hotel.

Not your typical RAM. Food and service just didn't match up to what we've come to expect from this chain. Probably a top down issue.

We saw a young couple get frustrated with how packed it was and left, but what do you expect on a Friday night, this isn't a fast food place. We stuck around and placed our order. Got lucky because they only do Fish Fry's on Fridays! Ordered the prawns and fish, got two order of buffalo wings, Mac and cheese, chipotle wrap, and kids burger. Fish was amazing!! Tasted Fresh! Not frozen! I was really not sure what to expect and faced my fears and ordered it. I can say it was some of the best fried fish I've had no lie. I was super pleased with it! Next time I'll try just the fish and chips in hopes that it comes with one more piece. The prawns were skinny ones and I wasn't too fond of them but the fish the main dish was perfect! Wife and bro-in law got an order of wings each and they were both super happy with them, I snagged 3 and would say top 5 wings I've had. Sister got the chipotle wrap and she said it was really good! Wife also got the mac n cheese with bacon and her and the kids loved it. Kids burger was able to split between two kids and they tore it up along with the mac n cheese! We had a great experience! Just be patient with staff and cooks, they get bogged down and you have to expect that or be ready to order fast when you're there.

I saw…read morenotifications on Facebook that they would be open during Treefort 2024 but didn't think I would be able to fit it into my schedule. By coincidence when walking around town I spotted it and had to go try. I'm a sucker for biscuits and gravy and these definitely beat what you would find in a Denny's or IHOP by a landslide on the taste and aesthetic scale! It's super filling since there's so many carbs, but the taters (more like small potato wedges) are actually a clever add-in. They add a slight bit of texture to the mushiness of the gravy-soaked biscuits, and potatoes and gravy are already best friends in terms of food pairings. There's also garnish on top (some sort of greens and cheese) that gives it a nice look and extra flavor. Delicious! I didn't think much of the customer service initially aside from thinking they were super friendly. However, I sat down at one of the tables and took my time eating and people watching. So many people came by the store to talk to the chefs with such familiarity that it felt like this popup was its own restaurant and community. It hasn't reached a point of popularity where it's flooded with people, but the more I look back on the experience, the nicer I feel about it. Even after a lot of time had passed and the staff had already helped out so many people, when I left, they called out my name and it made me wish I could go back again. This is one of the best experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. Not because it's spectacular or mindblowing, but because it was great people watching. The food itself was also amazing for late night food-coma inducing munching.

Using Yelp, we found Matlack's Public House Beergarten and liked the look of their sandwiches. We arrived 15min before they opened and wandered around a bit before heading back. The hostess/waitress took us in and thanked us for coming back (she must have watched us try to get in earlier). We got to pick our table in the dining area. The interior is smaller but very clean and classy. The only thing I didn't like were the chairs as they were benches and stools with no back support. I ordered the Santa Maria Tri-tip sandwich and an iced tea. My son also got the same sandwich. Their sandwiches all come with Fritos unless you're looking to spend more for a salad, mac & cheese or chili. This was the best sandwich I've had in years! The baguette had a little crunch on the outside but soft on the inside. The tri-tip was hickory and apple smoked and was tender and delicious. The chimichurri was a perfect accompaniment, as were the roasted poblano peppers. I also enjoyed the Fritos as the side. We also received top-notch service from the waitress. I ordered the Mac n Cheese without the breadcrumbs and the hubs ordered it and added bacon. It was creamy and yummy. I ended out taking some of my back to the room. It reheated well, so made for an excellent midnight(ish) snack! The place wasn't too busy when we were there, the bartender was also our waiter. He was polite and helpful. The table/chairs were clean and people looked like locals (which is always comforting when you randomly pick a spot). There's indoor and outdoor seating. I didn't see a lot of parking. Their house-distilled vodka made for one smooth and delicious martini! Our server, Sabrina, was outstanding--friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable.
