As many times as we have eaten here, taken family here, picked up food to go from here and ordered Doordash from here you'd think I would have left a review. The food here is some of my favorite on this planet. If there is something I love, it's Indian food. You can taste the care in every single dish. We have always had amazing dine in experiences with great service. The most recent experience was a week ago with Doordash and it was HOT and YUMMY!!! I always get the chicken kadai at an indian spicy level. If you are just a basic tikka masala kind of person, this is a really good next step. I could eat it every single day of my life. Their rice is always fluffy is well seasoned. Butter chicken? Creamiest. Tikka masala? Bomb, not overly sweet like some spots. Chicken biryani is so good, though a little heavy on the onion if you aren't into that. We've eaten all the appetizers, too- all amazing. For the medium hot heat, it didn't feel like much probably should've gotten a level higher. The flavor and seasoning were quite good! The lamb biryani was also super flavorful! If you're new to Indian food, recommend the lunch buffet to try and sample suffer items. The wait staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. I loved how my dish came covered in dough - reminded me of pot pies. I had the seafood mix and there was plenty of seafood inside. Do not order online for delivery if you are hungry. Your "specified delivery time" will mean nothing. I asked for a 6:10 p.m. delivery which was nearly an hour after I placed the order, thinking that would give them ample time to prepare and deliver the order. When the order was finally acknowledged 20 minutes later, the estimated delivery time was reset to 6:50. In fact, the order wasn't even picked up until 7 p.m. Then, about every 10 minutes, another 10 minutes was added to the delivery time. I eventually received the food about a half hour later than the expected delivery time. I have not been a customer of Door Dash or Grub Hub so I am not used to the quality of service one can expect from third party delivery services. Maybe this experience is typical? Rajput uses a delivery service named "Grab Knock." Their website fortunately allows you to see the driver's location, updated about every minute, so I could tell that the driver didn't even get on the road to pick up the order until about 15 minutes after Rajput informed me that it was ready to go. The driver had to make 2 deliveries before mine and didn't take the most efficient route to reach my house. That said, the delivery driver was friendly and courteous when she arrived. The food required reheating upon arrival. As for the quality of the food, I would rate about 3*/5. We both had to further season the dishes to our tastes. This is only the second time I have had food from Rajput Suffolk in their new location and I must say that the food is not nearly as good as it was in their original location though I cannot explain why. Although I will probably try them again in the future to give them another chance at a dining in experience, I will never again order delivery from Rajput. read more

Very yummy Indian food! Stopped in for a late lunch and had delicious butter chicken, appetizers, and naan! Service was also great! The butter chicken had a great flavor and had plenty of chicken! I had enough for 3 meals! My husband had the spicy (level 4) butter chicken and loved it! We had the appetizer platter that came with four different apps including a samosa and chicken rolls and it was delicious. We also got the bread basket and it was fun to try out the potato bread. I learned that the location has moved, but the food is still delicious. They are now in a different shopping center but less than a mile away from the previous location. I actually like this one better. Smaller and more intimate. It's newer, more modern. There is still a parking lot so, parking is not an issue. We were greeted and seated as soon as we walked in the door. The service was great. There was no problem changing the table from the original one they were trying to seat us. The booths ARE a little smaller than normal. They will fit two grown ups on each side but it's tight. I was not a fan of that as I generally like some space. Next time I'll have to ask for a table. So many vegetarian options! And yes, many meat options also. I got the Mushroom and Green Pea Marsala and it was delicious. BUT my friend got the Chana Marsala and that was even better. I've already decided, we're going back because I want that the next time. There were four of us and everyone's plate was clean. We had nothing to take home. I also had the chicken korma, which is my go to. I get two dishes so I have leftovers :-D the chicken satay is moist and the dipping sauce reminds you of the butter chicken sauce. The besan roti is good too - it's their chickpea flour version of naan. They have a good amount of booths and table seating. The service was pretty good. Bottom line: I've been to India and this was some of the best Indian food I've had. At the start, it was a bit slow to be seated and have our order taken...or I was really hungry so it felt longer than it was. We started off with some appetizers - veggie samosa and dal shorba. It was love at first bite. My mango lassi was so refreshing. We ordered the assorted bread basket with our meals of chicken korma and chicken patia. It was all so incredible. I would say that more rice with the meals would be nice. The entree portion is definitely enough to have leftovers the next day, but we always have to order an extra side of rice. To end the meal, I tried my favorite Indian dessert - kheer - and I was not disappointed in the slightest. I fully intend to be a regular at Rajput. I'll see ya there! read more

Food was average at best. As for ambiance it's dimly lit. Nothing special. The problem with this place is I've had too much delicious Indian food elsewhere to really think this was good. The price of buffet is too much relative to the actual quality. $25.99 for low quality meats. No samosas on buffet. You can tell they cut corners to maximize the profitability. Service was nothing special. They ran out of naan and eventually brought some out. We arrived with about 45 minutes left on buffet. Felt like my family and I were eating scraps. After we paid they reiterated they were closing at 3pm. It was rude to feel rushed out. Really could make a meal off of naan and fresh creamy hummus. This was so tasty. The naan was slightly charred so it has this depth to it. Crunchy at times with that smoky finish with the creamy hummus. Sooo good. The tandoori wings have a small ting of spice to them but not hot. Stopped here for lunch on a Saturday and it had a steady line of customers. It was clean and chill inside and our server was attentive. They had a buffet going but we opted for menu items. Being vegetarian, buffets typically have more meat options than veggie, so we chose a selection of veggie items to share. We got samosas, chana masala, samosa chat, and garlic cilantro naan. All of it was delicious and we didn't say a word to each other because we were stuffing our faces. The chickpeas had amazing flavor and the naan was the best we've had.
