I asked a simple, genuine question about whether piercings on each side have any meaning. He said he didn't know, which was perfectly fine, but the way he responded afterward left me wondering if he was being sarcastic or mocking me. It felt unnecessary, unprofessional, and honestly made me hesitant to return. These days it seems like you can't ask anything without someone turning it into something political, and that's not what I came in for. I did go back for a second visit, and that experience was completely different -- much more easygoing. I guess it really just depends on who you get. Still, that first impression was annoying enough that I've never looked back since. If you decide to visit, I recommend coming with a friend, especially if it's your first time. Having someone with you can help avoid misunderstandings, give you clarity, and make the whole experience feel more comfortable and supported.

We ended up walking around until they reopened. I do wish their lunch hours were posted on the website so customers could plan accordingly. My daughter was simply getting two of her earrings downsized. The charge was $10 per earring, plus an additional $15 for a new backing, bringing the total to $52 with tax. As I was checking out, the receptionist informed me that there would be an extra $5 charge for using my debit card, so I would recommend bringing cash. I asked whether this fee was mentioned on their website, and she said it was not. When they downsized my daughter's hidden helix piercing, the bar was still too long. The piercer explained that the ear was swollen and that she couldn't push the earring back any farther. While I understand that swelling can affect the fit, I was hoping for a better overall experience. I truly wanted to support this business, but between the unexpected closures, undisclosed card fee, and leaving with a bar that still seems too long, the experience fell short of my expectations.

It was really just sitting on a display table with art and more art. Definitely my vibe. I love art studios and seeing how other artist set up their creative spaces. I don't have any tattoos, but I wanted to go to a tattoo parlor for some new ear piercings, because I knew they would do a great job just from WOM. Looking around, I enjoyed seeing the butterflies in display cases and didn't think too much of all of the animals placed on walls and desks. Juvenal (the artist) told me the owner enjoys taxidermy, and I very slowly accepted that these were real animals. The irony of being able to sit at a museum and draw stuffed animals without a care, but now in this setting seemed eerily fitting. Juvenal did my piercings. They're perfect! I've been wanting to do this for years. I don't have a good excuse to why it took so long. But I know it was the right time. I bled. 0.o Fitting for the setting, eh? They were all cool people, too - Juvenal, Ernie & Tany. We chatted a bit before I left. The whole thing was an experience. Within 3 months one of the pair of earrings broke. I got the replacement last week and without even wearing it one single time one earring broke already just seems fishy that the same model of earring broke within 6 days when I refused to pay an additional $15 for a second warranty. I've never had earrings break this easily ever. I will say they did offer to let me buy another warranty to replace it and extend it to another year but I don't think that it's fair. ( if I had the earrings longer and worn them I would understand). Just fyi you're better off buying earrings somewhere else.

I've now gotten four lobes, two helix, and a nose piercing here. I only lament that I don't have other piercings I want. :)
