She walks you through things including details on aftercare; and even provides some sterile spray after. If you have questions she's responsive. I actually brought my partner here after they had a nose piercing at another place and she helped them with it and told them more about aftercare that the other place hadn't mentioned. I've been wanting more piercings for years but put it off with pregnancy and postpartum. I came across Alyssa's Beauty Bar on here and her work looked so beautiful, very clear that she takes pride in her work and loves what she does. I decided to get a double helix piercing on my right ear and she was so helpful with choosing positions and jewelry that would compliment my skin. The studio is so, so clean and has such a calming vibe which is always a plus when getting piercings. Before I got my ear done, she walked me through the entire process so I wouldn't be surprised and knew how to take care of my piercings. Checked in with me multiple times throughout the process to make sure I was doing ok, put some numbing gel on the piercing site as well so I would be comfortable after it. Her priority is the client's comfort and experience, which is so refreshing. Alyssa gave me an after care kit with very simple instructions on how to give my piercings the best healing along with a follow up appointment to change the backs in 6 weeks after the swelling reduced since the initial backs are long flatbacks to allow space for swelling and easier healing time. I recently had my eyebrows micro-bladed by Alyssa and I absolutely LOVE them! Let me start off by saying that I'm SUPER picky with my eyebrows. I've had permanent makeup done on my brows two other times over the last 12 years or so, and Alyssa was by far the best artist and gave me exactly what I wanted! She is so knowledgeable, patient, and knows how to give the best shaped eyebrows for your face/bone structure. Not only did I have beautiful brows once she was done, but I seriously felt like I had a mini facelift! I'm in my mid-30s and she shaped my eyebrows to give my face a 'lift' and it's amazing! Also, I'm super OCD when it comes to cleanliness and safe procedures with something like this. She made sure everything was done the right way. It made me feel really good to see all the steps she takes to make sure everything is clean. She even sent me home with a cute little care package with directions on how to take care of my brows, soap for them, lotion, even little visors for my eyebrows when I need to take a shower! I have always been fascinated by microblading and have had a strong desire to try it out but the process always sounded a little intimidating. Now listen, I have been friends with Alyssa for years and between her impeccable face and natural comfort and ease with beauty products she has always been my go to for advice. So when she opened her beauty bar, I was that kid in class with their hand waving rapidly in the air going "Me, me, me, pick me!", so I didn't even hesitate to hit the "Book" button on her Instagram. And boy am I so absolutely thrilled that I did! I mean WOW! Between her peaceful and relaxing space, her enthusiasm and passion behind the process, and most importantly her finished product, I am blown away by her professionalism and skill. Alyssa is so knowledgeable in her field and even though I understand very few things in relation to this craft, she explained everything to me in a way that made me feel like I could relate and understand what she was actually doing. She's very thorough, and clean and values the customer's input. Through every step she asked me what I liked, what I didn't like, etc. and I truly feel like we built my eyebrows together and they turned out to be better than I ever could have imagined. The pain was minimal and Alyssa made sure I was comfortable for the duration of my stay by checking in constantly and asking me if I needed breaks or more numbing cream. But what stands out to me the most is how much Alyssa loves what she does. It's always so inspiring to see someone so passionate about their work, and her glee shines through and is contagious. I got excited listening to her marvel at her creation, and I truly feel like when someone loves what they do, they are destined to create wonderful things. My eyebrows are proof of that. I also received a spray tan at Alyssa's Beauty Bar. I have only been to Palm Beach Tanning Salons in the past, so I wasn't sure what I should be expecting but Alyssa made me feel so comfortable. It was so convenient and she anticipated my needs before I could even express a desire. She also talked me through all the products she was applying and the end result was fantastic. It's always a very vulnerable thing to get naked in front of anybody, but Alyssa was so professional and gave me options of what I could wear to ease any anxiety. She also talked me through the aftercare to maintain my tan, and even my fiancé noticed the glow I was sporting. The tan looks so natural and I feel like I was sun-kissed and the parts of me that I have trouble tanning on my own now look stunning like my stomach and my legs.
