I've been coming to this tanning salon for a while now and I've had such a great experience! The staff is always super friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and they make you feel comfortable every time you come in. The salon is clean, the beds are great, and I always leave with a nice even tan!! read more

I am consistently disappointed with my experiences at this Palm Beach Tan location. The staff treat customers as an inconvenience rather than paying guests. During my visit this evening, I had to wait 45 minutes while listening to the front-desk employee who checked me in loudly complain about management having "Unrealistic expectations" and bad-mouth her coworkers to another staff member. Then whispering probably bad mouthing me too. Far worse, however, was the lack of cleanliness. When I stepped out of the spray tan booth, I found a large cockroach on my purse. Ironically, I had just overheard the employee mentioning that the salon has a known pest problem because a staff member refuse to take out the trash. With the Canyon Crest and Corona locations closed, this is my only remaining option, but after tonight's experience, I will be contacting corporate to discuss canceling my membership. Management seriously needs to address the hygiene standards and customer service training at this location. read more

The girls were lovely, but the product is inferior. I had stripes from the spray tan. It was supposed to be free and to get anything close to what I wanted. I had to pay $17. They told me no shower for eight hours and to sleep on it if I could, and I did and the next day when I rinsed it away, I had orange stripes all over me. They did offer to re-spray but I don't like the product so I didn't see the point. Also, the lower half of my calves and feet got virtually no color at all. This is not an issue of staff, but an issue of product. read more

I' took a break from tanning at the tanning salon for 2 years. Due to 3 skin cancers. I get sun when we go to our boat down at Long Beach shoreline. I decided today to join a salon again. I love my old tanning salon (nameless) in Woodcrest, but in 2 years their price almost tripled. So I came to you all, paid $217. With tax unlimited. The young lady said I can only do 6 mins. I could not believe it. She said, since my first time there I can only do 6 and later they will let me do 10. I felt like I got nothing, my skin was not even warm. I figure I have until the 1st to cancel. I'm going to try and go everyday this week, if I do not notice color, I will be done here. Or maybe management can make a note on my profile, ok on 10 mins. read more

The worst tanning policy I've ever been suckered into. can only tan every 24hrs at the same time or skip a session and tan at a different tim? why? Because that's what the FDA recommend? Just for reference pbt its a recommendation not a law. It's inconvenient and will not renew my membership. I'll stick with Rock star tan. read more

I drove 30 minutes to Palm Beach tan and walked into a quiet waiting room with no one waiting. I was interested in purchasing a spray tan package and they had reasonable prices. There was no one present but I could hear someone spraying and wiping in the room next to where I was standing. After a few minutes the girl emerged, closed the door and went into another room and I could hear spraying and cleaning. She obviously saw me and not a hello , I will be with you in a minute. Not one word. Since they sale packages I could only imagine she thought I was a paid customer and it was ok to keep me waiting. I thought how if this is how someone is treated just walking in how bad can the service be with a paid plan. I left and took my business to Itan. This is not the type of business I want to pay for bad customer service. read more

Palm Beach tanning services is the best in town. The receptionist Rea offered excellent customer service and offered a variety of products you may purchase in store and the best part there is no need for appointments for their sunless spray machines and tanning sessions. They also offer quick and easy services. Moreover, they have a great atmosphere for tanning sessions. Their machines are of the latest models. Some of its functions are voice command heat and drying and gentle spray. Rea you made my first time sunless tan a memorable one. You are an asset to Palm Beach awesome job !! Thank you ! read more

**TRY A DIFFERENT LOCATION** Beware, not all locations offer the same memberships!!! I originally signed up in 2024 at this location as a Diamond Prism Premier member which included the red light. In the off season I placed my membership on hold to ensure the same services at the same price upon returning. When I began tanning again I would follow up my sessions with the red light. This appeared to became a bit of a problem for the employees behind the counter to figure out. They told me they no longer had that level of membership. They didn't think it made sense that I couldn't do the red light so somehow they figured out how to get it to work. Apparently they changed management AGAIN (at least 4 since 2023) and this manager really wants to "fix the problem." Her solution of course was me paying more money monthly. HERE'S THE KICKER... so now they're saying my membership includes the red light at the other locations just not this one, the one I signed up at. Their corporate website also has the different red lights under the same section. If I'm paying extra for "wellness" I'll be taking my business to a real wellness center. Shady. read more

Honestly a great experience at palm beach tan! Alee and her amazing team were able to help me in getting the perfect tan for a wedding I had in June. Everyone is helpful and knows what they are talking about. Thank you guys Alee, Lilly, Maddie, Olivia and Gracie! read more

Do not recommend this business, all they want is your money and make it so difficult to cancel your membership. After weeks of trying to cancel it and doing what they told me they have added an additional $10.00 fee which would I was told it would be waived and then today Ashlyn tells me she charged me because she thought I didn't care about paying it, so she charged me $26.00. I don't care about the money it's the principle of it all and a poor representation of this business! DO NOT do business with them! read more

I had the same experience Cheryl had at the Alessandro location when it came to cancelling. I had my account for a while and didn't go for about 8 months. In June I went for one last tan and told them to cancel my account. She tried to get me to freeze it for something like $7 a month but I said just cancel it. Well, all summer they called me trying to collect. I answered the phone and had 5 conversations about what happened. Every single time they said they'd let their manager know. Today I get a call from the sweetest person ever (Angie from the Corona location). I told her what happened. She called the manager over at Alessandro because now I have a balance of $167. The manager from Alessandro wanted my new credit card information for one more billing cycle. I think the Alessandro location has high turnover and from how it seems, it has to be poor management. I didn't want to write a negative Yelp review but today just really topped it off. read more

Would only let me tan for four minutes! Didn't see a difference at all. Came up with some BS about me taking more than a month off without tanning. It's September and summer just ended one week ago and I am already tan enough to go the full time. Corporate BS! I also had an issue with cancelling and then still charging me every month... I'm buying a used bed. Eff this company!! read more

I've never felt more welcomed at a Palm Beach Tan than this one! Destiny (the store manager) was absolutely amazing. I got there right when they open at 9am and there was about 8 people already there. She remembered pretty much everyone's names and was so genuine and personable with every single one. She did not try and rush it at all but got everyone to their booth within seconds it felt like lol She brought a huge smile on my face and made me so excited for my spray tan. Thank you so much! Went to my go to place to tan yesterday. 5/2/2024. The gal behind the counter was on the phone with a customer who had had an issue about an issue. The gal acknowledged me. I sat down, no biggie. This gal handled the phone situation so professionally, I took notice. She said "I'm so sorry for the wait! I was like you handled that so professionally, I took notice of you! She smiled and said," That what my parents taught me, they owned a batting cage business!" She was young, Great personality, engaging, great vibe! 5 Star shout out to Cheyanne! Been tanning here for years. It's always been a 5 star. Haven't been in a month. Yesterday the girl was rude, beds weren't clean, asked if we needed a towel and when we said yes got attitude. Apparently their dryer isn't working and discouraging customers to use a towel. Today is my 2nd day in a row going with no color change. They won't allow customers to go as long as they want (supposedly there are new CA rules that other salons know nothing about that won't allow you to go how long you want). Plus my friend checked in today ( no clean beds ) again. Girl helped 2 others and checked them in until she decided to go clean a bed for my friend. read more

Beds are always down whenever I go in to use my membership at this location. Seems to happen frequently according to staff

Everything went smoothly at this location EXCEPT for my cancellation. As instructed, I went into the salon on 7/25 to cancel my membership. So that you learn from my experience, make sure the young lady behind the desk asks you to sign for the cancellation. This young lady apparently didn't know how to cancel a membership and instead of letting me know her discomfort with performing this task, led me to believe it was taken care of. So....5 days later, my credit card was charged for another month. Both Ria (mgr at Alessandro location) nor America (regl mgr) can provide a refund. I will eat the cost. But since when is a refund that difficult? read more

Omg this place is by far the best tanning salon I've been to in all my years of tanning - Destiney and Jaylene are amazing - they are super professional polite and friendly, this location is always super clean quiet and very little wait, your in and out in no time - I would highly recommend this location to any and all my friends, family , and co - workers it's a 20 outta 10 read more

I've been paying PBT LITERALLY for maybe 8 years now and have been to probably 7 or 8 different locations all over Southern California and today was literally the only experience where I was actually OVERLY impressed with one of the employees. Destiny totally saved me today! I had nearly $165 in credits that I was about to just throw away and she gave me solutions and products to get instead. And honestly I've never purchased products at any tanning salon ever so that says a lot. Beyond that , she was so kind and friendly and genuinely caring - not being a salesperson just being nice and so sweet. Was refreshing since sometimes the employees here get caught up on "scripts" and what they are "told to say" by management that they sound robotic and pushy and it felt like she was just genuinely caring. Will love to be back to this location! read more
