The girls were lovely, but the product is inferior. I had stripes from the spray tan. It was supposed to be free and to get anything close to what I wanted. I had to pay $17. They told me no shower for eight hours and to sleep on it if I could, and I did and the next day when I rinsed it away, I had orange stripes all over me. They did offer to re-spray but I don't like the product so I didn't see the point. Also, the lower half of my calves and feet got virtually no color at all. The worst tanning policy I've ever been suckered into. can only tan every 24hrs at the same time or skip a session and tan at a different tim? why? Because that's what the FDA recommend? I drove 30 minutes to Palm Beach tan and walked into a quiet waiting room with no one waiting. I was interested in purchasing a spray tan package and they had reasonable prices. There was no one present but I could hear someone spraying and wiping in the room next to where I was standing. After a few minutes the girl emerged, closed the door and went into another room and I could hear spraying and cleaning. She obviously saw me and not a hello , I will be with you in a minute. Not one word. Since they sale packages I could only imagine she thought I was a paid customer and it was ok to keep me waiting. I thought how if this is how someone is treated just walking in how bad can the service be with a paid plan. I left and took my business to Itan. **TRY A DIFFERENT LOCATION** Beware, not all locations offer the same memberships!!! I originally signed up in 2024 at this location as a Diamond Prism Premier member which included the red light. In the off season I placed my membership on hold to ensure the same services at the same price upon returning. When I began tanning again I would follow up my sessions with the red light. This appeared to became a bit of a problem for the employees behind the counter to figure out. They told me they no longer had that level of membership. They didn't think it made sense that I couldn't do the red light so somehow they figured out how to get it to work. Apparently they changed management AGAIN (at least 4 since 2023) and this manager really wants to "fix the problem." Her solution of course was me paying more money monthly. HERE'S THE KICKER... so now they're saying my membership includes the red light at the other locations just not this one, the one I signed up at. Their corporate website also has the different red lights under the same section. If I'm paying extra for "wellness" I'll be taking my business to a real wellness center. Shady. read more

The receptionist Rea offered excellent customer service and offered a variety of products you may purchase in store and the best part there is no need for appointments for their sunless spray machines and tanning sessions. They also offer quick and easy services. Moreover, they have a great atmosphere for tanning sessions. Their machines are of the latest models. I had the same experience Cheryl had at the Alessandro location when it came to cancelling. I had my account for a while and didn't go for about 8 months. In June I went for one last tan and told them to cancel my account. She tried to get me to freeze it for something like $7 a month but I said just cancel it. Well, all summer they called me trying to collect. I answered the phone and had 5 conversations about what happened. Every single time they said they'd let their manager know. Today I get a call from the sweetest person ever (Angie from the Corona location). I told her what happened. She called the manager over at Alessandro because now I have a balance of $167. The manager from Alessandro wanted my new credit card information for one more billing cycle. I think the Alessandro location has high turnover and from how it seems, it has to be poor management. I didn't want to write a negative Yelp review but today just really topped it off. read more

Went to my go to place to tan yesterday. 5/2/2024. The gal behind the counter was on the phone with a customer who had had an issue about an issue. The gal acknowledged me. I sat down, no biggie. This gal handled the phone situation so professionally, I took notice. She said "I'm so sorry for the wait! I was like you handled that so professionally, I took notice of you! Been tanning here for years. It's always been a 5 star. Haven't been in a month. Yesterday the girl was rude, beds weren't clean, asked if we needed a towel and when we said yes got attitude. Apparently their dryer isn't working and discouraging customers to use a towel. Today is my 2nd day in a row going with no color change. They won't allow customers to go as long as they want (supposedly there are new CA rules that other salons know nothing about that won't allow you to go how long you want). Plus my friend checked in today ( no clean beds ) again. Girl helped 2 others and checked them in until she decided to go clean a bed for my friend. read more

Everything went smoothly at this location EXCEPT for my cancellation. As instructed, I went into the salon on 7/25 to cancel my membership. So that you learn from my experience, make sure the young lady behind the desk asks you to sign for the cancellation. This young lady apparently didn't know how to cancel a membership and instead of letting me know her discomfort with performing this task, led me to believe it was taken care of. So....5 days later, my credit card was charged for another month. Both Ria (mgr at Alessandro location) nor America (regl mgr) can provide a refund. I will eat the cost. But since when is a refund that difficult? read more

I've been paying PBT LITERALLY for maybe 8 years now and have been to probably 7 or 8 different locations all over Southern California and today was literally the only experience where I was actually OVERLY impressed with one of the employees. Destiny totally saved me today! I had nearly $165 in credits that I was about to just throw away and she gave me solutions and products to get instead. And honestly I've never purchased products at any tanning salon ever so that says a lot. Beyond that , she was so kind and friendly and genuinely caring - not being a salesperson just being nice and so sweet. Was refreshing since sometimes the employees here get caught up on "scripts" and what they are "told to say" by management that they sound robotic and pushy and it felt like she was just genuinely caring.
