Where to start! I actually met Mel through my work, her spunky personality and positive energy is sooo easy to talk to! So we got to talking and she was just starting her tanning business. And let me tell from start to now it's always been amazing amazing amazing! My first tan with her was for my vacation to Hawaii, and I was in love...I am naturally tan and the summer time I used to get very tan BUT working indoors for my job has made my inner Greek goddess disappear. So I was very please after she sprayed me and how natural it looked! Then she opened a very healthy obsession of looking and feeling confident. I've used her for vacations, holiday pictures and weddings! Five stars for her customer service, her services and her work space! Customer service: She is sooo approachable and sweet, I can't imagine someone not getting along with her! She's also very genuine and remembers her clients and cares! Very quick with responding and very professional. She also helps you get/feel comfortable whether that be in the nude (‍insert raising hand girl emoji) or in her disposable panties she offers. Spray tans: My absolute favorite thing about Mel is her quality of her work. She is very thorough when she sprays and you can tell she takes pride in her work. Not only does she look over your spray, she looks over it with you too and is insanely open to your thoughts. (Mine are mostly silent because she's already gauged my personality from first visit and she's amazing)! Spray room: Her spray tanning is done in her house BUT let me tell you...her house is always clean (I'm sure pre-Melbee's Tanning) and the room is huge! There's a sitting area, a changing area, and an spraying area! She has it very bright and full of light, so if your spray isn't during the day (‍insert raising hand girl emoji) you'll still be able to see all of your tan! She has an amazing giant mirror and her actual booth is mirrored backing so many opportunities to see all of your tan. Let's face it, it's hard to stand butt-naked and vulnerable in front of a complete stranger, unless of course that's your profession... or kink. Id rather volunteer for drug-free root canal than strip down to my undies while someone takes a close look at what I've got going on. Like most women, Im extremely self-conscious about my aging body and standing under bright lights is daunting; however Mel immediately calmed my insecurities. Her studio is in her home, which can be off-putting for someone like me; however her beautiful home is in a safe neighborhood and it's very clean and welcoming. Her work space is a large room on the second floor that is tastefully decorated with a true focus on spray tans (it doesn't double as a home gym or S&M dungeon). Her equipment is state of the art and she gets a twinkle in her eye when she talks about new lotions, spray guns and finishing powder. She loves her work and it shows. So far I've had 3 tans with Mel and Im scheduled to return this month before a trip to Belize. She uses the best new hottest products and quality definitely increases the length of the tan. She is so professional and funny it's a fun appointment every time.
