Salt & Light…read more Business is nestled between the 91fwy and 215fwy being closer to the 215 on Van Buren Blvd in the Woodcrest area. It's an easy drive from either direction as Van Buren is a good moving Blvd. There are 2 other locations in Temecula. From either freeway take Van Buren Blvd to Wood Road and enter the complex on the South West corner of Wood and Van Buren. Salt & Light Therapy is in the South end of the complex. There is plenty of parking including Handicap available. After some researching I determined I was in need of some Red Light Therapy (800-1000nm) to treat my Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS) it is new treatment but has had a lot of success so I decided to try it. In researching Spa's that offer this therapy I found a perfect business Salt & Light Therapy. I contacted them and the employee I reached was well versed in the Red Light Treatment and said they have had very good success with others with RLS. I scheduled an appointment not really knowing yet how it all worked. When I arrived the amazingly clean scent hit me as soon as I came in! The ambiance was incredible and I could see that the owners had put a lot of thought and effort into making this business very welcoming and comforting! It truly is incredible! I was immediately warmly greeted and they proceeded to answer all my questions. They explained the Red Light Therapy completely to me. It is a sauna with the red light bands bouncing all around inside. My research said it takes 3 treatments, 20min each, 3 times a week. So I asked which would be the best priced package and was recommended the monthly unlimited which provided me access to all the spa services they offer. I was very pleased with the price which I was expecting the cost to be much higher due to the type of treatment and amazingly professional looking interior. Check out their website for the other services they offer. I have tried several and they are all super, super clean with towels, perfect furniture and even cold towels in the saunas! They have literally thought of everything. The restroom was immaculate! Very fresh and clean. The employees are constantly working and cleaning. But always stop to ensure all is well with me. I am also very impressed with their free mineral water drinking water. Like I stated there has been a lot of effort in thought placed in this business. So after 3 treatments my RLS has disappeared YEAH and I am able to go to sleep at night now. Salt & Light has returned my life back to me. After all my treatments are completed I will do touchup treatments and I will be having a hip replacement and will use their Red Light Therapy which also increases blood flow for my surgery recovery. I came out and asked and then she apologized and said oh I'm sorry we don't have medium Mystic tanner. We're all out. So then I asked her. If there was another option for a spray she told me I could do the versa. But I had to pay 12 more dollars. And she didn't know which level would be a medium tan. I asked her if she could just honor the 35 already paid since they were out of what I paid for and she said no and made me pay the additional $12. Not great customer service.

I was inconvenienced for the second week in a row, and drove over to the Lake Elsinore location. I called first. Just to make sure that the only Versa booth there was working. I called multiple times before anyone answered the phone. I confirmed that their Versa spray tan booth was working and drove over there. It was 6:07 PM. The girl who answered made sure to tell me over the phone that they close at 7 PM. I was greeted by Bailey who asked if I was the one who called from Wildomar? I responded "yes." I let her know I had to call multiple times before she picked up. She said she was in the bathroom. That's understandable. I was already frustrated that the Versa still wasn't working in Wildomar. Not her fault. She told me to go ahead and go into the booth for my spray tan. I go into the booth and get fully undressed. Then I realize there's no wipes in the container ....its completely empty. I need those to get the barrier cream off. I had to get completely dressed again and go out and let her know it was empty. She handed me some. I go back in and get completely undressed again. Then I realize that there's no hairnet in there either. Seriously?! Now I'm pissed. I had to get completely dressed again to go out and ask her for one. She didn't care. No apology. She just handed the hairnet. This location is rarely busy. When I was done, I asked her to please have a manager call me. She says "why?". I said "there were no wipes or towel, and no hairnet in the booth. I had to get dressed and undressed twice." She said... "there's no wipes because people keep stealing them." I said "there was no towel or hairnet in there either." She responded "that's because there was someone in there before you." Then she said "you're not supposed to come in after 6:30 PM... I'm closing up." I looked down at my watch. It was 6:34 PM. I came in before 6:30 PM, but that's irrelevant. They close at 7 PM. The blame shifting, lack of accountability, and her snotty attitude was astounding. Very poor customer service.
