I recently made an appointment with Tai for a double helix. The online appointment process was simple and easy to navigate. Onto the day of the appointment, upon entering, I was greeted by her welcoming smile - a great sign! We filled out the necessary paperwork and she started prepping for the piercings. Coming into this, I have a fear of needles and I let Tai know. She was understanding about it and asked how she could make me feel more comfortable and offered options as well. I appreciate her calming nature and she made me feel safe and in trusted hands throughout the entire process. Onto the piercings, Tai explained the process step by step and in a couple of minutes, I had a double helix! She was so quick, yet gentle with the piercings that I couldn't tell she had already put both piercings in. The entire process was so pleasant and smooth that I immediately started thinking about other piercings to get from Tai. Terrible customer service, even worse professionalism. Had an appointment scheduled only to show up and the artist won't be in for another hour. So instead of waiting I wanted to go with another artist. Once I tried to book with another artist I was told "they quoted you way too low, wtf" and that it would be a higher price than originally quoted. Not only were the people at the shop very rude but also very unprofessional. I guess you should verify MULTIPLE times that the artist will even be there for your appointment. Please also verify the price with the shop before they bait & switch you once you get there so you can spend more money. I would recommend any other shop in Riverside besides this dump. read more

Nobody has ever hurt me more than Aya. 5 stars. All jokes aside, Aya is wonderful. She's funny, quirky, a lil crazy, and an amazing artist. I found her on IG after looking through social media for an artist near the area. Back story: I have scars from self harm and other past mistakes and I've felt super self conscious about myself and allowing someone I didn't know to see what I had done to myself. I saw Aya's work on IG and she definitely has the style I was going for so I took a shot and DMd her. I explained my situation and she made me feel super comfortable (through texts) and I took the plunge and scheduled with her. I could not be happier with the work she did for me and i know the conditions of both of my arms were not an easy task. Both of my arms are so beautiful and I have gotten soooo many compliments - I can now walk around with my arms uncovered with pride. Owner lied about supporting and disappeared. Response to owner - what a superb lie. Touch up was done after it was healed and if it wasn't then why did your artist work on it.. You dint have time to respond to correction request but responds on Yelp within minutes. Lol. Wow! I too believe in God. You need think about lying to customers about taking care of their poorly done tattoo. Promising them to fix it and not answering insta msgs, calls. I saw that Tai was super well-liked in these reviews so i decided to bring my business here despite the high price tags. It was impossible to call into the store when i was trying to make an appointment to get some piercings done. I called 3 times within business hours on 3 separate days at 3 separate hours, and each time was sent to a voicemail that was not even set up. I got into contact with the piercer, Tai, on instagram. She was spotty with her responses, but i gave her a pass on a missed appointment day that i was trying to book and decided to still schedule for a future date bc her reviews were good. Fast forward to my appointment today at noon... AND SHE DID NOT SHOW UP. I messaged her politely to let her know i was there, and I even waited HALF AN HOUR after my time before leaving. Maybe it was an off day, but it's super unprofessional as nobody was able to tell me where she was or apologize at all despite 2 people knowing i was waiting for her specifically for an appointment.
