I don't usually review tattoo shops or artist often but Erin was so professional. Finding a good artist is so hard theses days. Since we often find them using social media it's hard to connect if their booked solid or don't always message you back depending on their availability. Erin was so wonderful she responded to my email about what I was looking for gave me some tips on what would look good. I had a tattoo done some time ago and what a different experience. Payton did my tattoo, it was just 3 simple letters, taz. She charged me 120.00 and she missed major spots inside the letters. Went on a Monday night to get my septum pierced, making it my first college freshman decision. Nick was super friendly, making jokes to make me feel comfortable. It was a walk-in, and I was seen right away. All the guys in the shop were super welcoming, and I did not feel intimidated. Nick was super gentle, and the entire process was easy and quick. Showed the artist (JOE)a picture of exactly what I wanted and got complete something different, It's fairly upsetting, considering it looks nothing like the reference photo, it came out horrible and very poorly done.Should have listened to my instinct his tattoo on me was a mistake I will regret until I get it laser. So for starters I did NOT come here for my piercing I went elsewhere . My reason for my visit here at Empire tattoo was because I had a infected piercing and wanted to save it . And I was advised by Nick to go with a longer bar . Nick was very personable, gentle and so kind with me and my care of the jewelers removal and replacement. And let's just say with his recommendation my infected piercing is healing right up ! So thank you Nick ! Also wanted to add that when I first walked in I was welcomed. Literally terrible job I'm very dissatisfied with my visit I walked in and liked the vibe of the shop at first I felt like I was in good hands I asked the guy peircing me what the pain level was like he told me a 4 I sat down on the table and was so nervous he turned around to watch what I think was damn Jerry springer on the tv‍ and put the peircing in my stomach was not paying attention he never even asked me if I liked the placement of the peircing he told me to lay down after he marked me and completely botched my stomach peircing I almost passed out the pain was not a 4 out of 10 maybe because he did it completely wrong way to high and wasn't even looking at me he was LOOKING AT THE TV. It's been almost 2 months now since I got this peirced it has still it healed I clean it everyday with saline solution and even put antibiotic ointment. Don't get piercings here. I got pierced by Nick and he marked my nose and just went for it. I was saying I was unsure on which side I wanted it and mentioned the left and I didn't even get to look in a mirror before he put the needle through. I went back to the shop to get it removed at 3 pm the next day because I hated where he put it and the shop was completely closed. I went to Mission Tattoo and Piercing to get it removed and the place was much nicer and more professional by a landslide. In total wasted $50 because their piercer doesn't care. Wasn't given any aftercare instructions and we had to wait in the front while he did another persons piercing to make sure that payment went through because he didn't want to wait for our venmo payments to go through before he went on to the other person. However, he was more than happy to tell my friend and I about his dick implants, but not bringing me a mirror to look at where he's putting a hole in my face. read more
