They showed up on time, wore masks the entire time, took great care not to damage anything and the most astonishing part... those guys hustled like I have never seen any moving company do before. I used them because my mother, daughter and myself are moving from one townhouse to another about a mile away and RADA took exactly 4 hours from start to finish. The movers were good but slow. I ended up paying 50% more than they initially quoted. Towards the end of the move there was only one small damage (to a coffee table because of stacking sharp stuff on top of it). Rada Express Movers were GREAT!! They were on time, fast and efficient. All the guys were really nice and super helpful. They helped up wrap up some furniture so it wouldn't get damaged at no additional charge, let us use their tape (when we ran out), and were all around super helpful. I checked out a number of moving companies, along with renting a truck and using other moving help style sites (which is normally supposed to be the cheapest), but RADA was the best deal by far! I even had to ask them to take a break at one point, they were moving thing so fast, they got ahead of what was ready to go. I can't say enough good things about these guys! Ray and his crew help us move a two bedroom unit. We make an additional stop at the storage unit. The overall experience is great. The communication before and during the move has been prompt and smooth. Our appliances have been wrapped with multiple protection layers and have been taken very good care of. I was shocked how fast the furnitures have been disassembled and reassembled. The rate is almost the best that you can find in the area. There's no hidden charges at all, only go by hourly rate. RADA was a great hire! They called the morning of to let me know the precise time they would arrive and they came ready to work. Finished in great time. The only reason they are not receiving 5 stars is because they scratched up the door to one of my bookshelves and the latch to my fish tank was broken. I'm not sure if these items weren't wrapped or what, but slightly disappointing. I think next time I move I will just be more particular and request all things like that wrapped. read more

We used this company yesterday to move from Fairfax to Woodbridge. The crew showed up on time and got straight to work. They were quick, efficient, and very careful with our furniture. They wrapped all of the glass, wood, and metal furniture pieces to ensure they didn't break or get scratched. Once at the new house, they got right to work unloading and delivering boxes and furniture to the correct rooms based on the box labels. They laid down carpet coverings to ensure our carpets stayed clean. They asked questions and remained in contact throughout the move. The price was reasonable compared to all the other companies we received quotes for and we were not charged more than the quote. I highly recommend this company! read more

RADA Express Movers did a wonderful job for our move to MD . The whole process was pretty easy, we pretty much booked the entire move online through their website. A sales rep gave us a call afterwards to confirm everything with us. The movers came on time and worked very hard to pack and wrap our things. Our move with RADA Express was a nightmare. They started around 9:30a and ended at 1:30a, again a nightmare. Biggest issue is that with the exception of one of the movers, the others weren't skilled movers. Secondly the company didn't provide the movers with essentials like moving straps, dollys, etc to help with the move. On one hand I felt sorry for the movers because with the lack of moving straps; movers were exhausted before unloading. The unloading took as long as the loading which is unheard of...problem being they were tired and literally carrying one box at a time that would take 4-5 minutes before they were back at the truck to grab another. We were also told we would have 4 movers but had quite a few hours with just 3. The owner was even present to help finish off the move, but they were completely unprepared for a large move. We were very upfront with what we had, the space and configuration. Aside from the unpreparedness was the sloppiness and damage that occurred. At my initial residence that I was getting ready to sell these issued occurred: Gouges in multiple interior doors in different places Damage to exterior doors Hardwood floors damaged in two areas Dented wall corners in two locations Damaged a stair tread Damage to exterior brick from basement We moved into a brand new construction and this was some of the damage caused: Walls gouged on at least 4 walls, major scuffs on too many to count Stair case floor and railing damaged Damaged the exterior door Damage to Laundry Floor And below is the damage done to our furniture: Broken TV (they knew they dropped it but didn't admit to it until asked) Scratched Laundry Appliances Broken glass desktop Leather recliner heavily scuffed Dining table legs scrapped/scratched Headboard damaged To top it all off after they left we discovered we were missing two wardrobe boxes that two movers had hidden in a main level bathroom because they didn't want to bring it upstairs. It was a disaster. Most of the damaged items weren't uncovered until after they left. They offered to repair the staircase at the new house however we never heard back from them. The owner partially discounted the amount by giving me about 70% of the value for a 4 month old tv. The owner wouldn't take ownership that his lack of tools to provide to his movers and overall lack of preparedness extended the move by probably 4 or so ours. There were so many instances you'd have 3 or 4 guys looking at how best to attack moving certain items. It took over 20 minutes to get washer and dryer up two flights of stairs because they didn't have moving straps. When it came to settle up payment, we were certain that they'd acknowledge their deficiencies that caused all the extra hours...nope with a straight face they wanted to charge for all the hours even while their movers were operating at less than 50% capacity. Only discount initially given was to the tv mentioned earlier that was damaged. So a nightmare! They should only be utilized for very small moves with small pieces of furniture. The one positive is that the owner and his son, that was the lead, mostly had a pleasant attitude, however it overshadowed by the lack of professionalism. read more
