Love this place! While the location is definitely a bit rough towards sunset, the staff are usually very kind and helpful and I come fairly often. I do enjoy their accessible flyers for local events and businesses and I do wish there was seating for such a large lobby as I do like to loiter lol! Treats are always pretty tasty and my coffee is always good. I did have to learn the hard way though that their matcha traditionally comes unsweetened (and when sweetened, it's typically not by very much). However, to each their own! Coffee is not good. To me it's just a cup full of sugar. Baristas are chill. They're more about their aesthetic than actually serving good coffee and well crafted drinks. The colored whip cream stains your mouth and anything else it touches. The shop looks cool though. read more

Spanish Latte was amazing! The perfect pick me up. It was strong and I love how large the sizes are. The second you walked in, it smelt amazing. Inside was clean and retro. It also very spacious but there is no seating area. The two baristas were sweet and friendly. I love that they close late. read more

I love rad coffee. This is the only location I think I hadn't been to yet and it was good too. I love that they have so many vegan friendly options especially the donuts, pop tarts, brownies and cookies. The brookie was really good. The donut was ok, probably a 4/5. We got the peppermint matcha with vegan with oat and it was really good and the great white vegan with oat and that really tasted good especially for cold brew. It's considerably bigger inside than some of their other locations and the workers were friendly and helpful as well. I was stoked to see that this location had opened up since I had been going to the Upland location for a few years. Really open space with the familiar posters on the walls, merch, and music. Got the Great White and it was as strong and sweet as I remembered. The girl at register was a bit rude while my partner was deciding on what to order. I hope that customer service improves a little bit, but solid experience otherwise. read more

Discovered this spot in Riverside; it's decent but not rave-worthy. Appreciated the quick and efficient service. The diverse coffee menu and unique concept is nice but it doesn't make up for the quality of the drinks. I opted for the Cookies and Scream - visually appealing and tasted like a blended coffee twist on a cookies and creme shake. While my drink was my favorite amongst my families orders, most were too sweet for my liking. I think it's worth a visit if you're into sweeter drinks. read more

Chill place with dessert coffee concoctions. When you need the sugar rush, some caramel drizzle or a drink with some purple and Oreo flavor they know how to blend everything together perfectly. I love that we got a location closer to Riverside. It's in the downtown area. There's parking and perhaps some questionable activity around but the inside is really cute! As expected! Tons of merch & good & quick service. I got the Salted Caramel Cold brew which was ok! I think the latte's are much better so I probably wouldn't get it again but I would return! read more

I have been on a matcha latte kick lately, and I love very close to Rad Coffee. I was at Maxi food grabbing some last minute things for dinner and stopped in to grab a matcha latte, and man, I wish I had gone here a long time ago!! The staff is super friendly and had great suggestions and information on their drinks. I grabbed a matcha latte and you are able to choose from a variety of different flavors to add and I love strawberry matcha. The inside is decorated really cool with all kind of Punk Rock posters on the wall and some merchandise available for purchase as well as a great selection of random stickers. Compared to every other coffee shop in the Riverside area, Rad Coffee has the best prices. I was able to get a 24oz strawberry matcha latte for under $6. It's at least $7-$8 for a 16oz. Strawberry matcha anywhere else within 10 miles. I will definitely be back!! read more

Which is really odd because there is space for seats. You just awkwardly stand there waiting for your order so 4/10 for ambiance. The barista who took my order was super helpful and sweet. 8/10 service. I got The Great White: 2 shots of espresso, cold brew concentrate, white mocha, almond and caramel sauce in a 16oz (small) and it came to be around $6.75. The coffee was so unique and tasty. I asked for their strongest coffee drink. There was a mild synthetic after taste but I'm guessing that was just from the almond sauce. But with the whole drink, it was definitely one of the most unique coffees I've had in a minute while still maintaining a good coffee flavor. 8.5/10 Definitely want to go back and try their other options! read more

Not what I expected. coffee was OK. Located in a "sketchy " shopping center in Downtown Riverside. No seating? Really? Kinda defeats the purpose of sharing or having an experience that is a cup of Joe at a coffee shop. Take a drive a couple blocks up the street to "Back to the grind" instead. Open late which is great due to most coffee shops closing early. Might give it another shot down the line if late night and in need of some coffee, or if they decide to offer Seating for a "drink in" experience. read more

This spot is really cool. The atmosphere here is chill, and there's a ton of merch to pick from. As for the coffee, I ordered the Campfire drink, which they said was seasonal. I HIGHLY recommend it. It's dessert in a cup with coffee. I was wired for HOURS, and the drink was delicious. The people who worked here were super nice and patient. It was our first time, and it took us a long time to look at the menus before we ordered. I also appreciated that I was asked if I needed any modifications to the drink, which I did. I was so excited for the drink I had forgotten to ask for oat milk instead, and the fact they asked went above and beyond excellent customer service. I have been to upland rad, Covina rad and even followed the rad truck. I'm a big fan and I love Rad Coffee maybe more than the average person but this is my lesser favorite location. The drinks are great and I rarely have had an issues in that front. The store definitely has that punk ambiance but it also feels a bit empty at times. This is a grab and go type location and I understand why. The area is very close to downtown and can be a bit seedy depending on the time of day you go but don't let it stop you from trying it. I would advise against going alone late at night especially if you're a lady. Again it's great coffee but it's more of a come get what you want and leave. It's definitely missing that extra something but the area is changing so give it a chance. You definitely won't find any other coffee place like this in the local area. Their signature drinks are always so unique and don't forget to try their seasonal items since they are often limited time. The staff is always nice and friendly so if you're not sure what to order just ask. I would say this is a fantastic stop if you're going or near by Main Library. I completely forgot to take a picture of my drink so you're just going to have to stop by to see what they got. read more
