Went in to get some replacement Yakima keys. Guys there were extremely friendly and helpful. It was only a $5 dollar part but they treated me the same as if I was buying a roof top tent. Will definitely be back and will tell all my offroad friends. read more

All staff was wearing a mask. They were friendly and answered all questions I had. Really recommend this place.

Caesar was incredibly helpful when a piece on my yakima rack had broken (rack is older - not purchased at Rack Attack), he was able to quickly find a suitable replacement, and I was up and running later that day. Highly recommend their services for any of your rack needs - organized shop, with great selection and service. read more

The service here was great. I was having problems with an existing roof rack and called the store to see if they could assist me. I wasn't sure if my rack was broken or the incorrect model or what. I spoke with the assistant manager, Alex, and he told me to come by and he would check it out--no appointment necessary. He troubleshot the rack, installed it on the car and then told me there was no charge. It was "not a big deal." It was to me though and I am so grateful for his expertise and generosity. Great service and a great attitude here. read more

Really nice place that I've been meaning to stop in and check out for some time. I was very pleasantly surprised as the staff were VERY friendly and willing to talk and answer questions about some ideas I had. They were able to think outside the box and help me which was very welcome. I didn't get the hard sell or anything at all they were simply wanting to speak passionately about what they could and would do to help meet my needs. I have some full size vehicles rather than just a jeep or Tacoma and didn't feel any judgement or snarky comments or anything by kinda being outside the norm or with ideas I had for an over-landing trailer setup. I'll definitely be back thanks guys! read more

Great customer service! I brought in a 15 year old Thule roof carrier, purchased from REI, that I somehow managed to get all out of whack. REI could not help so I went to Rack Attack. Rack Specialist Cesar Hernandez met me at the door, unloaded the 'out of whack rack' and carried it into his work area. A few minutes later he came back with the good news that the carrier was fine and the problem was instead "operator error" i.e. Me! He patiently showed me the correct procedure for opening and closing this carrier and then carried it back and loaded it into my suv. Rack Attack is not in the business of repairing this type of equipment but Caesar explained that because they were a distributor of Thule products he wanted to assist me by diagnosing the problem and then pointing me in the right direction if repairs needed to be made. The store was busy at that time and he didn't have to do this. But, he graciously focused on me and my issue and ensured I was satisfied when I walked out the door. If you are looking for roof carriers, bike racks, or car racks of any type, this is the place to go. And if you want good customer service, just ask for Cesar Hernandez and you will be in business!! read more

I seldom right reviews, but this time they deserve a great one. Called first before going, spoke with Caesar very helpful guy. He told me just go to the store and they will swap my lock from my Thule bike rack for free. Through enough, went there then Oscar help me out. The swap was done in less than 5 min. Amazing sevice. Please continue what you do. And thank you again guys. read more

My second experience here could not have been more different from my first. The dude behind the counter could barely tear his eyes away from Instagram while another employee, Peter, who was so helpful last time, brought out the rack I ordered. In addition to the rack arriving late (mysteriously only showing up once I called to complain) they left it up to me to discover that it was the WRONG RACK. Peter at first refused to admit that he'd ordered the wrong rack, telling me he'd done me a favor because I'd be able to use it if I ever got a different trailer hitch on my car, and then, when I did get him to admit it, did emphatically NOT apologize for lying to me and wasting a few hours of my day. Sincerely fuck this place and their bullshit service. read more

This store carries all the top brands and is knowledgeable when it comes to servicing and fixing them. They re-keyed my Thule XT2 Pro in 5 minutes, now I don't need two different keys to use it. A+ experience! read more

I have experienced the best customer service with Cesar and Brianna, they have treated me like a friend and I feel very warmed with their professionalism. Everything with service now a day would always have a price of labor cost. But here at Rack Attack Pasadena did me a great favor in my case without cost, which I deeply appreciate it! read more

Price-point was a big deterrent. Shopped around and got a significantly cheaper price for the same product. Great customer service though.

Came here today for a Thule cargo box. The rep hwas helpful and very nice. He set up the cargo box onto my car too!

We returned a couple of weeks later and purchased roof rails for our new car. The service was just as great as the first time.

I tried installing my thule rack and went back to rack attack Padadena for a quote. They were able to work with me and negotiated a lower price that was initially quoted. I left it to the professionals who installed my thule rack in minutes. read more

I ordered a roof rack a couple of years ago from www.rackattack.com and had a great online experience. I am excited that an actual store front is now open not far from me. I went in for some spare parts and the gentlemen there were more than happy to help! Shop is big and clean.. easy look at and test out each rack. Give them a visit and see for yourself. read more

Showed up from pretty far, admittedly close to closing hours but I called ahead in hopes of finding a rack. The staff that answered the phone put me on hold indefinitely, when my question could have easily been answered. I made it 3 minutes after the doors closed still on hold and the guys in the showroom just pretended they couldn't see me outside, clearly with no intention of picking up my call. Lost my business. read more

This place is awesome! I've been debating on getting a bike rack and roof rack for awhile. These guys were super helpful and very informative! They were also super chill and didn't pressure me into a sale. I would definitely come back here again. read more

I worked with Oscar and Peter to get my rack installed and they both were very helpful. This was not an easy installation and they were the only shop in town that was able to do the job. I highly recommend their shop for great service, skilled installation and the highest quality parts. I purchased a Rocky Mounts bike rack and a Stealth Hitch for a 2016 Audi A3 Etron. read more

All Rack Attacks are not created equal. Santa Monica Rack Attack installed a a Thule Hullavator kayak carrier but the roof rack whistled very loudly. I returned one time to the store for adjustments to the rack and mentioned the whistle. I'm not even sure they did anything about the whistle since it didn't change at all. Cut to about 2 months later and I decided to order an 8' Thule awning. I tried the Pasadena store. They were helpful with figuring out the awning. Oscar and the entire team at the Pasadena store got involved and tried some rubber seals on the rack to try and stop the whistle to no avail. But they did try! A week later when I returned for the awning instillation the Rack Attack team realized the S.M. store had not used proper Thule cross bars. The Pasadena store had a Thule crossbar set which I happily purchased. Peter, the manager of the Pasadena store, got on top of my van and personally dialed in the re-install!) Once the new cross bars were swapped out with the reinstalled Hullavotor and the new awning I took my van on a test run and the whistle was gone. So to sum it up they were more patient and better problem solvers at Pasadena. They did a great job. read more

I just went to the Pasadena Rack Attack Bc I couldn't take the ski box off my suv by myself after a road trip. I own a Black Mercedes Benz Metris Van. I needed a rack to carry plywood for business - LACPP.COM. I was calling around for the rack and everyone wanted to sell me a white rack. They would tell me that I could purchase the white rack, have it powder coated black, take it back to them for installation. This seemed over complicated for me. I wanted simple. I wanted a black rack for my black van. I did another google seach and found Rack Attack - Pasadena, CA. I called and I spoke to Cesar. Very Nice knowledgeable guy. I told him I wanted a black rack for my van. After explaining my needs. He told me he a few options. He emailed me three quotes. He explained to me the different weight capacities for each of the racks. He even encouraged me to shop the rack i was interested in they will beat any price including online and Amazon. I did my price research and they were very competitive. The next day I walked in to rack attach in Pasadena. Cesar showed me my three options - black racks. I chose the Rhino Racks. I paid. They called me a few hours later after the rack was installed. Beautiful top notch installation. Eddie Z read more

Outstanding service and a total yes mentality makes this shop a great place for racks and hitch work. The team has a lot of stock and can install it quickly while you wait. Loved the fact I could walk out with the rack on my car and not just order it and make another trip to get it installed. Good pricing and the people in the shop are very knowledgeable. read more

AWESOME STORE! Finally a decent LOCAL rack store. Had to go all the way to Santa Monica to get my original Rocky Mount. Of course, I drove through a garage with my bike on almost right away and messed up my Rocky Mount brass knuckle. Oscar and Peter righteously hooked me up! They didn't try to upsell me anything. But gave me expert advice on what I could do to repair my slightly bent part and torn straps. The store is clean and well-stocked. I will definitely be coming back here. I recommend this place to all my friends that want cool shit! read more

This COVID thing has been really hard with orders and deliveries. This put me in a real bind with another seller so I tried RackAttack. The COVID crisis caused problems with deliveries still but unlike the other retailer the RackAttack crew went above and beyond to help me out. Their team was excellent I worked with Matt in Boston and Bailey in the Pasadena store and even though they were across the country and super busy they were able to work together and come up with a solution within an hour where I had been working for months with the other retailer on this same thing. They both put in extra leg work with Bailey even driving to pick up a part that I needed on his own time. They even exceeded expectations for the installation time and it looks so good. my I am beyond impressed, customer for life and will only work with RackAttack in the future and all my recommendations will go to them. The only thing that could have made my experience better is if I had started with RackAttack to begin with. read more
