Came in for a repair quote. Was quoted $500-$600. The person helping me, laughed smugly as he suggested buying a new bike and gestured with his hand towards the bikes they have for sale. The cheapest bike I saw was $900 with the most expensive being $14,000. The people working here are incredibly pretentious and rather underwhelming. I feel as if the driving revenue force behind this store are the deep pockets of Pasadena and the workers don't care or respect anyone else. I went somewhere else that encouraged me to repair my bike, and not buy a new one. I paid $200 for the same repair that Incycle quoted me $500-$600 for. I would sincerely avoid coming here and to look elsewhere for your cycling needs, unless you prefer paying exorbitant prices with a side of bad attitude. read more

TL;DR: Was helped by a certain mechanic here and he let me go home with a broken bicycle part. Will go to a different bike shop for service from now on. It pains me to write this review because I enjoy going here for buying parts and customer service. Kyle usually helps me and will do his best to try and teach me about what kind of service is being done. I can describe their mechanic service as a hit or miss. My first mishap was due to a newer mechanic installing something incorrectly which I had caught right away. It was fixed by the staff and they even did a complimentary tune up for the inconvenience which I was very thankful for. Everyone here is pleasant and easy to work with. My second mishap happened on 7/20/26 between 2:00 PM - 2:36 PM. I came in with multiple wheels to work on. One of the wheels needed a free hub to be installed along with a cassette. The other wheel just needed a cassette installed. I'd rather not mention the name, but one of the mechanics began helping me. I observed him over-torquing my lock ring on one of my wheels to point where it started spinning freely which I thought was not normal. The mechanic decided to go on his lunch in the middle of helping me and passed on the work to another mechanic after I witnessed the free spinning lock ring. He basically told me "the next mechanic will work on the wheels". Aldo, the mechanic that took over the job was a bit confused of what he was supposed to work on and said the last mechanic did not really specify what needed to be done. I failed to mention about the free spinning lock ring but had Aldo work on the other wheel that had not been touched yet. Ended up leaving with all my wheels. By the time I got home, I remembered about the free spinning lock ring. I used my tool to spin it with just my hands to see if it still spins. As suspected, the tool spun freely in both directions (clockwise and counter clockwise) with no resistance which I knew was not normal. I called Incycle and they told me to bring it back. My cassette ended up falling off the wheel when transporting it in my car. Ben is the next mechanic that helped me out when I came back. He verified that the lock ring was actually for brakes and not cassettes and that's probably why it stripped. He then helped me to find suitable lock rings for the cassette online and offered to install it when I received the part. Was a bit bothered that I have to buy something that they broke or did not catch was not the correct part the first time around but not a huge deal. Was more bothered that one of the mechanics was okay with me leaving with a loose cassette and broken lock ring. He definitely did not hand his work off correctly to the next mechanic. Hoping this person is held accountable because it almost seemed like he didn't want it to be known that it was broken otherwise he would've told the next mechanic. Thankful that I did not discover the broken part while riding on the road leaving me stranded. read more

Great bike shop. I brought my son's 16inch bike in to see if we could add a kickstand that is tough at this size bike. I brought in another bike that needed a new tire and tube and the bike mechanic replaced that pretty quickly. My son came away with new bar grips and was super happy. This visit was for a new wheelset as the Incycle near my residence did not have it in stock. This is a quality place. The store is well lighted, orderly, and inviting. The shopping experience there is comfortable. The merchandise is wonderfully presented. I was referred here by a friend. Best bike shop referral I've ever had! I took my road bike to have some much needed service done and they exceeded my expectations! InCycle has some of the best service guys in the market! I've gone to several bike shops for repairs and my bike always felt off. These guys fixed all the problems! One problem in particular was causing me to use more watts on my rides. I had a rubbing disc issue that I wasn't really aware of. I thought it was normal since the other bike shops I took it to never informed about. When I went out on a ride, I was able to set new PRs on several segments. The bike rides so smooth now and very fast! No sounds, no discs rubbing, all the gears shifting very nicely too! I'm very happy with Incycle! read more

Bought my "specialized" bicycle here. My bike was hybrid "commuter" bike called Sirrus 2.0. It cost me $~700 (including taxes) and that was cheap for a new "specialized" bike. I remember other road/gravel bikes easily went for over $1k! Most of the helpers were very kind and knowledgeable about the bike and what other equipments/accessories need to go with. They even let me try riding their $2.8k bike just to try it out. I love their atmosphere-- friendly and very clean. DO NOT GO HERE. Worst Bike Shop Experience Ever. I don't usually write reviews, but after my experience at Incycle Bicycles, I feel like I need to warn people. If I could give zero stars, I would. I took my bike in for a simple bottom bracket adjustment because I was getting a clicking sound when I pedaled. From the moment I walked in, I got nothing but attitude. The guy at the counter barely looked up from his phone and acted like I was wasting his time. When I explained the issue, he gave me a sarcastic "Mmm-hmm" and asked, "You sure it's the bottom bracket?" in the most condescending way possible. Mind you, there were zero other customers in the shop, yet he still made a big show about how "busy" they were and how it might take a while. Whatever. I filled out their little form and handed over my bike, hoping they'd at least do their job. Fast forward an hour. I come back, and the same guy pushes my bike toward me with a smirk and says, "All set." Immediately, I notice my seat post is scratched--it was not like that when I dropped it off. Then I spin the cranks, and guess what? The clicking sound is STILL there. Actually, it's even worse than before. When I pointed this out, the mechanic just shrugged and said, "Dunno, you brought it in like that." Total lie. I asked if they even checked the bottom bracket, and he gave me another smug look and said, "Hey, man, we tried. But, y'know... some bikes just ain't worth the trouble." Excuse me?! At this point, it was obvious they had no intention of actually helping me. They either didn't work on my bike at all or deliberately made it worse. The whole time, the other workers in the back were laughing and whispering like this was all a joke to them. I don't know if they just get off on treating certain customers like trash, but the vibe was disgusting. I grabbed my bike and left because clearly, they weren't going to fix anything. I ended up doing the repair myself at home--took me 20 minutes. Bottom line: This shop is unprofessional, rude, and straight-up dishonest. They don't care about their customers, and I wouldn't trust them with a tricycle, let alone a real bike. Save yourself the headache and take your business elsewhere. read more

I've come here for multiple fittings using the Re-Tul process that they have here, most recently a month ago when I picked up a gravel bike. The team here is super knowledgeable and helpful (especially Carla) and has set me up great each time. This is the spot I refer my friends to for a fit, and I highly recommend that anyone who is doing longer rides and spending hours on their bike come here to get that fit done. A Re-Tul fit is a little more pricey than some of the other options out there, but I look at it as a dollar cost average thing... think of all the hours you spend on your bike and if you're dialed in perfectly on your fit, you will be that much more comfortable, have better power, and enjoy your ride that much more. So even if its just a 10% improvement, over time it really adds up. The first time I came in, my shoes were too big and my cleats needed a major adjustment (needed to be slightly asymmetrical to get my knees in the right plane of movement). I was preparing to do the Santa Barbara 100 and I knew it would be a challenge to finish under any circumstances. Carla did the fit (which takes quite a bit of time and is very comprehensive) and then helped me pick out new shoes and fix a few settings on the bike. I finished the race exhausted, but was pain free the next day. I haven't done another long ride like that in a while, but I brought in every new bike I've gotten since then, and each time, despite trying to set them up on my own and feeling pretty comfortable riding them, I always immediately felt the difference after I got them tuned to exactly the right place. Each bike geometry is slightly different, so getting an expert to help is a must. read more

I took my Specialized Levo to get the seat dropper cable replaced. From start to finish, the guys/girls at the shop were super professional, communicative, and they made the whole experience super smooth. From the start they told me it wasn't a repair they could do on the spot and that it might take 7-10 days because they had a lot of bikes to get through. I wasn't in a rush so I told them to take their time. Over the next 7 days I Received multiple text messages and calls from the guys in the service department to update me on how things were going and that they would get to my bike soon. One week later my bike was done and the rate they charged was super reasonable. They will be my go to shop. A+++ experience from start to finish. Thank you all! read more

I really like this bike shop. I came here to get my first helmet, gloves, and bell for my first time mountain biking. I have to say they delivered well. I was able to get some good, affordable gear that fits me well. There wasn't any need to drop $200 bucks just to keep me safe for my first ride. I definitely will be returning here or to other locations for my next steps in my mountain bike journey. One thing is that they had tons of bells, but absolutely no horns, like the ones street vendors use. Step into this bike shop and you will feel like you are at Disneyland for cyclists. They have an incredible selection of top notch bikes, ranging in prices and sizes... from tots to teens to old folks like me. They have a great selection of bike accessories, clothing, foot wear, and hydration packs. But that's not really what I'm giving them 5 stars for.... I just wanted to stop in to get some straps for my pedal cages and maybe a Cat Eye to see how slowly I bike and how short my distances are even though I feel like I just completed an Iron Man! Simply a reality checker. I happen to stumble upon the friendliest of bike mechanics (I think that might be their title) Marcos and Andrew. Marcos took great care of all of my needs, installed my new Lezyne Cycling GPS Computer and put my straps on my cages. He even took the time to show me how to practice getting in and out of them without breaking some fragile bone in my body. Marcos and Andrew were so friendly, accommodating, and knowledgable. Everyone at InCycle is friendly and helpful, but I must give a sincere shout out to the two behind the counter that made my shopping spree a lot more fun! Many thanks to Marcos and Andrew for such great service... give these boys a raise! I've been to other cycle shops in Pasadena, but this one is the BEST. I don't like to leave bad reviews but for this store I will leave a poor review and I hope to protect other people from getting ripped off. What's my opinion on Incycle store? Don't come here. My bike needed a tuneup. Since I have an old specialized I figured I should take it to a specialized certified store, so I chose Incycle. Here's my experience: They fixed the bike and tuned ok but my customer service experience was absolutely horrible. Initially they said it'll take them 7 days for the bike to get to a mechanic because of the long wait, I was fine with it and agreed. But It took them two weeks for them to return the bike, I had to call them twice to check what's going on, they told me that their mechanic who could work on my bike was available, this had been already about 8 days since I left them with my bicycle. They called my phone to let me know when it was done few days later but didn't care to leave a message. They charged me about $440 without any explanation in person of what they worked on when they were returning my bicycle. Just charged my card and that was it. Luckily, I caught some things on the receipt that was odd. They added more items than we discussed. They charged me 80$ extra on those items that weren't even used... I wasn't sure if they were trying to rip me off for their commission or what. I also had them ordered tires but they forgot. No apologies from them, nothing. I found it absurd. Also a cage that they sell at the store for 50$ (on sale) is 17$ online. So go ahead and spend your money here if you don't care about customer service and getting ripped off. Service quality has slipped drastically. They also act like it's your fault when you ask them to fix their work, and are very adamant about documenting what's not their fault but don't do anything for you when they waste your time. They also have strange attitudes that I can quite pin down. Don't be friendly with them or they'll take it as a sign of weakness. Double check whatever they do and call them immediately on it. I'll only come here when I don't have the time or inclination to do my own work and other shops are busy or closed. read more

This has become my bike shop. I as many others decided to get into road biking due to the pandemic, but am so thankful for this new found hobby. I bought my bike during a major shortage but through in cycles online system across all their locations I was able to find my bike at their store out in the Inland Empire. Since then I have been going to the Pasadena location for all my biking needs. Every time I go there the employees are very helpful. I have also had some minor adjustments my bike has needed as I broke it in and they always accommodated within the time that I was shopping around. Will definitely continue coming here. I actually need to take my bike in for its first major tune up. Grateful for finding this new activity and for the team at Incycle for taking the time to make sure I am set up but also for answering my questions and be a resource as I continue to learn more. read more
