I don't know where all these 5 star reviews are coming from. My motorcycle was having an electrical issue and I figured it was either something to do with the ignition switch or the battery. Basically, I was stuck at a Krispy Kreme and couldn't get the bike running. I was calling around and most places around the area only work on a specific type of bike like a Harley. Mine was a 1984 Honda. I finally got around to call these guys and they seemed nice and even offered to pick up the bike and work on it. I was relieved and everything went smoothly. They picked it up and said that they had a couple ideas on what it could be, so it'd probably take about an hour to diagnose the issue. About an hour and 15 minutes goes by and he calls to tell me that my ignition switch is bad (not really specifying how) and that the diagnosis and a temporary switch will cost $260! What?! I was shocked that he would charge that much for something I could've figured out and done myself had I my toolbox with me. Once I acted surprised on the phone, he flipped out and told me about how he had to get to it and how hard it was to get past the front fairing (a square foot piece of plastic held on by two small bolts). It all ended with me stressed completely out with a bike that doesn't work that I had to wheel all around Burbank because this guy cares more about ripping people off than treating them like human beings. I am only giving this place 2 stars because they offered to pick the motorcycle up, which is rare. Screw motorcycle shops in Burbank/Glendale area. I ended up wheeling it to an awesome place called ATV Repo Depot and they treated me like family, hooked me up, and completely fixed the issue (which was two wires melted together connecting to the ignition switch). If you have lots of money to throw at a person who may or may not know what they're doing, please go to RPM Attack! :D read more

I had been to a few other mechanics before coming here, but now that I've found this place I won't take my bike anywhere else. Chris is the nicest guy, and I figure it's time I leave a review on yelp. Over the past few months since I've been coming, he has: - picked me and my bike up off the side of the highway when I was stranded about 10 miles from the shop trying to ride to Death Valley (like literally I called and he was there in 30 minutes) - fixed my pesky clutch problem - transformed my sportster from the ugliest bike in LA to one of the prettiest - always offers water or coffee or whatever he has in the kitchen to offer - a chain conversion and custom brass shifter peg - just been a generally nice dude every time I've gone in. Also, it's my understanding that other shops and repair services who I shan't name bring their problems in to him when they can't figure it out, so... yeah, I recommend this shop, absolutely. ***also his rates are definitely lower than HD so there's that as well. read more

Throughout the bike repair the next day, he kept me updated with the progress. Brian and Joseph, employees at RPM, did the repairs (rear brake drainage and padding replacement, changed tires) and inspection on my bike. They were very thorough, professional and respectful. Don't buy in to the reviews. They're paid by the owner, Chris who doesn't care about anyone else other than himself. Nearly everyone has 2-3 reviews and not a single elite has reviewed this place. I was warned by a friend who had a bad experience here but still went for it. I should've listened... I spoke directly to Chris to schedule a pick up and he never showed up. I waited 30 mins and called. No answer. I emailed asking for a call back. Nothing. Voice messages are full. 2 days pass... silence. This was after confirming the time and date with him when we spoke. I finally call back and he gets defensive telling me something came up that day and said "Things happen. I don't need to make this up to you." He didn't even want to reschedule the pickup. No accountability for his oversight and zero effort for any customer service. If he can't own up to his mistakes what do you think is going to happen when he looks something over during a repair? He'd blame it on someone else and that's exactly the type of shop you should avoid. Take your bike somewhere legitimate. Not here. read more

Chris and the guys @ RPM Attack are doing stellar work. My 2001 Triumph Bonneville needed the front brakes flushed and cleaned, new throttle cable installed, and new steering bearings for the top and bottom yoke. Nothing overly complicated. The level of work is top notch for a very reasonable price.  Getting in touch with the shop was very simple. Communicating back and forth with Chris to schedule a pick up of the bike was a breeze. Seriously, 400lbs off my shoulders. This is the second time I've worked with these gentlemen, honest and reliable mechanics. Pretty quick on the turnaround. I was always kept up to date with the bikes progress. Aaand duuuuude, they cleaned my bike!!! Took the grease and crap of off the engine cases and cleaned up the tires. I wasn't expecting this. What a pleasant surprise!!! I picked up my moto in the evening. I didn't notice until the next day when I went to go wipe the morning dew off of her. Keep up the fantastic work fellas!!!! This is the best motorcycle service/repair i have been to. Service was amazing, got the job done quickly and was ready before i knew it. First of all, I called a different repair shop about the issue on my bike. They told me it would be 85$ just to look at it. I called RPM and they told me to bring it in. I didn't have a tow truck to tow my bike. I called RPM and Chris came and towed my bike for me. He took my bike and it was ready in less than an hour. Huge thanks to these guys. Had an issue with my bike I just couldn't figure out. Talked to my buddy Kev who works at the garage and had me bring it on by. I expected it to be a few days, a few hours later i got a call letting me know everything was sorted out and it was ready to pick up, and the bill was exactly what I expected. I never bother to leave reviews on yelp, but this place is GREAT! I'd been looking for a honest dependable shop that focuses on Harley's and doesn't have that "too cool for school" attitude and RPM Attack is it. Chris the owner is super nice and approachable and the shop is well outfitted and well organized which I think says a lot. I came in with my stock Sportster rims and some new tires I bought online. Chris put on the new tires, sold me some new tubes (which he had in stock) and balanced everything. Great price and was done the same day. He also gave me a quick tour of his awesome shop. They do simple stuff and maintenance for a lot cheaper then the dealership, but also do full custom and fabrication work. As soon as my project bike is back in rolling condition I will for sure be back to this place for further work. I highly recommend it. read more
