Picked up a nail and rode the flat down Colorado ti the first shop I found. Yamaha said they won't touch Harley's and Villains was a block or two away. Pulled up to find Gromet schooling an ol timer and Neil wrapping up on a bike. Both acknowledged me quickly despite being deep in their own current affair and shortly after backing the bike Neil was working on he had mine pulled into his station. Met Jose, excuse me, Pepe who was blast to chat with. From AC, to Springer front ends, clutch baskets, and mods. It was a good time spent at Villains waiting for my inner tube to get swapped. Cool cats and some nice looking bikes they working on too. I can see why they been in business over 20 years. Fair prices too. Glad Yamaha turned me away that's for sure. read more

All around great shop. Excellent service great customer service, I talked with Pepe, and you really can't beat the price. I took my heritage to add some ape hangers and they beat everyone's price by far and with just a 1 day turn around. I highly recommend this shop. Great clean professional work at a price you won't beat. read more

See all

Just had a service and rear brakes and a rotor l along with 2 tires done. Everything was done when they said it would be and they didn't try to upsale me on things I didn't need and that was refreshing. So I'll say they have good service and good prices. Way better than going to the dealer!!! read more

I recently had my chopper serviced at different shop out in the Valley And the bike broke down the same day I rode it to PASADENA where I work . It was squirting Oil all over the place. I towed my bike to Villain Bike shop & talked to a very helpful technician who seemed to know what the problem was right off the back & sure enough he was right on the money. PePe is pretty cool guy, fair & respectful business owner for what I've heard from whoever knows him. Well I picked up my chopper last Saturday & enjoyed riding it over the weekend with no issues. I should take it back to do some more custom work on it soon. read more

Always straight up and fair in their diagnostics of required repairs. Also, explanation of options and risks are always well communicated.

Bike that Pepe and his crew built for me is still running strong after 15 years. Good shop, honest work, honest people, definitely check them out if you need parts or a build. read more

Took my bike in to have it looked at because it didn't feel right. They checked it over, found nothing wrong with it and didn't charge me anything for checking it. Then i got a flat, had my bike towed to them, they had a new tire on first thing in the morning. This place kicks butt. read more

My third time leaving a review and give star remain the same. I just don't trust anyone else with my bike. Pepe is awesome. Always takes my countless calls and answers my questions. Pepe is installing a bunch of upgrades on my bike and its getting painted. Neal is another fave! :) read more

Great place,, Highly recommend I road in my 2005 special construction custom soft tail road king. I was still continuing to experience with my start up's after picking it up from a different motorcycle shop I explained to Jose my concerns he got one of his mechanics yo take a look he found that my c clip which wasn't installed correctly he connected it the right way . he had my bike ready less then a couple of hour's, and the great thing about it he was more concerned about my safety he didn't even charge me .. look forward to going back. read more

I've had scheduled maintenance done here and it was alright. The bike just always came out feeling off in some way. I thought it was just my imagination. Recently, I experienced issues with my clutch. I knew exactly what it was, as the same thing had happened before. The spring plate broke and needed to be replaced. A mechanic needs to open up the clutch to confirm that. I took it in to Villain and told the boss that that was the issue. He said they'd work on it. I asked for a receipt. I always do, and the receipt is always intensely vague in its description of work to be done. This time was no different. He simply wrote "Clutch problems." The fact that the boss writes receipts this way is a serious issue. I left the bike there overnight for "clutch problems" and picked it up the next day. The boss said to me "All the bike needed was a clutch adjustment. Nothing broke. If something had broken, you would have heard it." I won't explain how ridiculous that statement is. I was not charged for the work. Later, I needed my forks rebuilt (according to service schedule). I took my bike to Villain. They finished in about two hours (charged $170). I got the bike back and left. I guess they did do something to the forks, but I don't know what (vague receipt), because now the forks are so squishy they essentially do a nosedive if I brake too hard. Moreover, just braking by itself causes the forks to compress WAY more than they should. To top it off, the compression causes some of the oil in the forks to come out, leaving a line of residue that shows how far up the tubes the forks travel. Secondly, the risers on the top triple tree were left untightened. The handlebars felt like a loose tooth. I had to tighten those at home. To finish things off, I kept experiencing issues with my clutch, so I took my bike to my local Harley dealership and they found that the spring plate was in fact broken and needed to be replaced. I knew it! Not cool, Villain. Not cool at all. I thought about calling Villain or going in to tell them face-to-face that the mechanics seem to be doing poor work, but I figured that might end badly. If the boss over at Villain wants to discuss this further, he can send me a message and we'll arrange to meet or something. But as far as taking my bike back to them, it's definitely NOT going to happen. My bike is my lifeline, and I need people to work on it who will appreciate that the quality of work they do directly affects my well-being. Shitty motorcycle repair is life-threatening. read more

I took my Harley Dyna in the other day to get a set of new tires and 20K mile service done on the bike. They did an amazing Job and the prices were fair. Very personable and knowledgeable. These guys know their stuff, would absolutely recommend. I just moved to Pasadena and It's awesome to find a great mechanic I can rely on. read more

My harley broke down on the 210 freeway, did a search and called Villains and not only did they have a truck come pick me up he waved the tow fee because i got my work done there. The price was very fair and all it was, was a busted cable. They fixed it, checked all the fluids and i was back on the road in a hr and a half. They have a customer for life!! read more

The address is wrong. They're in their new location at 2762 Colorado. On to the good stuff.... It's a holiday weekend. The starter goes out on my bike. On a holiday weekend. Oh joy...I called Glendale HD, they were too busy to take me. I called Villain. They were good to go. Three hours later, a new starter was in and I was ready to ride again. My ride may have been cut short for Saturday, but Sunday and Monday are good! Thanks to Villain Customs! read more

This is hands down the best motorcycle repair shop in the L.A/SGV area. I've taken my sportster here multiple times and for different reasons, and each time, they've been honest and fair with me. From handle bar installations to it wont start problems. They are fair with the prices and prompt with service. Not to mention Jose and the guys are very friendly. Thanks guys!!! read more

I needed to have my tires unmounted and re-mounted, simple work order for any shop. Called a few places, got estimates for pricing and timing. Called Villain and spoke to Jose on the phone. He was sincere, friendly, knowledgeable, and very reasonable with pricing. When I dropped the wheels off, I felt complete trust in him and his guys to perform the work as needed. He even offered recommendations on a powdercoater, who gave me another amazing deal once I mentioned Jose and Villain. I felt extremely comfortable with Villain, Jose and his team, and will be going back here for any more work on my motorcycle. This place is as good as it gets, and I only have positive remarks to say about Villain. Highly recommended for anyone who is either on the fence for shops or just wants a great place to go. Thanks Jose!! read more

I've had nothing but good experiences with Villain. They've come through in a pinch and can honeatly y say I've never felt like I was being raked across the coals for some basic ass work like big name dealers feel thee need to. Pepe's a solid business man and I love that I have a damn decent shop to take my hog. Whole shop from owner to workers are solid. read more

These guys did the top end of my bike. They have one guy that did nothing but talk bad about my bike the whole time, the owner of the place started out acting like a good guy but in the end he's not. They didn't change the oil and then made up excuses on why they don't clean out the old oil. Didn't put the wiring back properly, but they did fix it after I brought it to their attention. In the end I've Learned my lesson not to go to these types of shops, I'm not telling others not to go here, but if you do just go in. Hopefully you have better luck with this place then I did. Good luck. I will not return nor recommend them. read more

Heard about Villain Custom Cycles through a co-worker, and I couldn't be happier. Got a screw in my brand new front tire, and called the dealership. They said $130 to put in a tube. Villain said $85...no-brainer. I live in Hollywood so it's a little out of the way, but I came in at 3pm and was on the road by 3:30. Customer service was quick and no nonsense. These guys are motorcycle mechanics not waiters, and I appreciated the quick, competent work. Villain is my new go to for work on my Sportster. read more

I called around to other shops in the Pasadena area, to get estimates on how much it would cost to get my plugs changed and my oil change on my 2010 Softail Custom. Jose not only beat out his competition, but was very nice over the phone. Had me drop off my bike while I was at work down the street, and he took care of it. Very good price, and very good business ethic. I immediately noticed my bike running different. A lot stronger. I will most definitely use Villains cycles for all of my future Harley needs. Good job.... 4 Stars, because of the really good job....-1 star because I believe they overfilled the oil, and it comes out through the top of the cap when i smash....I called Jose and he told me to take it back and they will remove some fluid....I just haven't had time....My whole bike is chrome, and I have to keep cleaning the oil spill that comes out. read more

Nice guys, but terrible repair service. Not only could they not fix my bike (I had to return four times to get their newly mounted carb adjusted and they still couldn't get it right), they also scratched up my cam heads, and worst of all they harvested parts off my bike. I'd take legal action if I could. Avoid this place. read more

This is the only place you should be coming to for your Harley needs. Got my road king top end worked on here and they did a great job. Customer service was great as well. Prices were low and fair. The shop is the super cool too with all the vintage Harley stuff they have up. Come in and speak with Jose about what you need and he'll definitely hook you up with the best service possible. read more

The owner of the shop, Jose, is a liar and the mechanic that worked on my bike had no idea on what he was doing and ruined my pipes. It took me months to get this fool to make good on the damage they did. This cat, Jose, will be real nice to your face with lies but has different intentions. I like to patronize the old school mom and pops shops as much as possible, however, when they dont operate like old school i'll find somewhere else to do business. This business sucks. read more

I'm mostly writing this for the hubby since he doesn't have a yelp account. These guys are great. The hubby had a break down due to a bad spark plug...and lack of gas. They picked him up for free since he was close by and helped him diagnose his bike. Totally saved the day for him. Great customer service, very cool guys. Everyone's very friendly and didn't look at him all funny because he's asian and on a harley. He's been back a couple of times since and I've gone with him. He had them re-lace a 21" wheel (which I got him for Christmas) to his hub. Very knowledgeable people working here with decent prices. read more

Lovely bunch of folks, good with customer relations, but the XL1200 pistons they acquired for my Buell were not quite up to spec. The bike seized out on the 210 one fine day about a year after the rebuild. Looks like the pistons had a compatibility issue with the lubrication system. Pushed a bit hard one day, then oil loss leading to engine death. read more

2006 HD Road King my bike was not charging took it in Jose owner and his employee Grommet(yeah cool right) Checked it out told me it was the Stator (not putting out a charge) and the voltage regulator(fried) once I knew I shopped around just decided to take it back to Villain. Once work done so much new power coming out of my bike. Good people, Awesome service and beat all prices. Thanks Jose and Villain William R. read more

Great service and great people. Always ready to help out, and prices are unbeatable. Absolutely coming back.

Drop my bike off for a simple stator replacement. Jose had his mechanic repair/install new parts I brought. When I test drove my bike I recognized my clutch felt to tight and awkward and there wasn't mutch fluid in my primary with now a knocking sound(bike just hit 10k miles). Jose blamed me for bringing my bike in with an existing issue stating that " I knew my chain was bad". After that I left the bike to be repaired Still not fixed, his mechanic(bald head long beard) grew frustrated/rude with me for me complaining about my concerns. When I should've been upset due to me bringing my bike back 3 times. Since the bald mechanic was upset with me and the issues they caused, Jose told me to take it to Dave at Rose City Cycle because they didn't want to work on my bike anymore because it's perfect and I'm just causing problems at this point. When I took my bike to Dave he noticed that my clutches were put in wrong, I needed more oil in my primary and they bent a screw inside of my primary. Dave at rose city customs is GREAT! my clutch feels great he replaced my Fluids, repaired my clutches. NEVER would I go back to villans and I DON'T RECOMMEND ANYONE to go there. HORRIBLE experience!!! read more

Been coming to these guys for all my Harley needs. From my Dyna to my Street Glide. They do it all!

Jose and his crew made it possible for my brothers bike to be finished. It had been sitting for almost 10 years. This is a special construction bike my brother had started before he passed away in 2005. There was some water damage in the engine and transmission, the wiring needed to be finished and much more. Well, this was no match for these guys. They got it all fixed and now we will do the long awaited memorial ride for my bro. I highly recommend this place. They kept in contact with us through the whole process, explained what was happening and made our dreams come true. read more

Jose was amazing to work with. I had to keep calling in order to arrange logistics and each of my calls were answered and handled appropriately. After a few days in the shop, bike was ready to go with a carb cleaning and oil change. Price was reasonable and now I am posting on Yelp so that should tell you I am a satisfied customer. I will be taking all my Harley bikes to this shop from now on. Thanks. read more

I don't know what Aaron is talking about below but his review is not accurate as you can tell by all other reviews here. This shop is the best!!! The entire crew is amazing! I am not a trained bike mechanic but I do most of the work on my bike myself. I don't let anyone touch my bike with the exception of this shop! No matter how big or small the job, this crew takes care of your bike. They have gone above and beyond to help me every time. One time I was on the side of the road with a rear flat (not going anywhere with that). I called the closest shop which was a Harley Dealership. The Harley Dealership was too busy to take me for a simple flat repair. Thanks Harley : ( I then remembered seeing Villain custom cycles, I called them from the cab of the AAA tow truck. Not only could they help me right away, they had my exact tire waiting for me! This was this start of a customer for life. This shop had me in and out in less than an hour. They treated me like an old friend. This shop has accomplished things on my bike other people said couldn't be done. They always make it right and give you that outstanding mom and pop shop service that has disappeared here in America. Even when I need a small part Jose will spend 30 minutes looking for it online for me or through his numerous parts catalog. Who even gives that type of service anymore? NOBODY but Villain Custom Cycles! Seriously this group does amazing work and at a reasonable price. They always make sure it is done right. Tell all your friends to take their bikes to Villain Custom Cycles you wont be sorry! They can do anything from complete chopper builds, powder coat, wheels, tires, springer front ends, custom fabrication you name it! Of course other services like tune-ups and oil changes. Get the service the dealers now lack! My reviews are honest. Check out my other reviews and you will see that my reviews tell it like it is. Villain Custom Cycles beats every other shop out there hands down!............. W read more

Guys were nice, but the work on my bike was piss poor. Had to bring it back 4 times....and even then had to bring it back to Harley dealer to undo the shit show they caused. I've been going to the dealer in Glendale and yea, it's a bit more expensive, but the work is night and day. #neveragain. read more
