After moving to El Sereno in August the place I was normally taking my Harley in Glendale/Burbank was no longer convenient. I did take it to him for one last oil change and he charged me for a quart more of oil than normal and left a huge mess of oil and sludge on the underside which I had to go to town on with degreaser and a toothbrush etc. to clean it off... Understandably I was looking for a new place and Eagles Nest Cycles is less than 3 miles from my place and thought I'd give it a try. Jerry the owner is deceitful. He said he was going to pay me a full $1000 and he still owes me $400. He said the $400 was for an oil change. There are no oil changes that are $400. I can't start to explain how amazed I am at the TEAM at Eagles Nest. I had issues on my motorcycle a few weeks back and posted it on FB, well today Richard and Jerry where a few blocks away form my house dropping off a motorcycle and Richard called me to see if I was home but I wasn't. Richard asked me if I ever got my Harley looked at since my last incident and informed me that they were 2 minutes away and would look at it if someone was home. My daughter was home and like magic they showed up and picked dup my Harley to be fixed!! I cant believe Richard still remembered where I lived since he built me a bike almost 15 years ago!!! WOW!!! I have a 2014 Triumph Trohpy SE. I know it's not a a bike they work on. I could not for the life of me remove the retaining clip for head light bulb. After 2 days of pulling my hair out and just staring at it, called Richard out of desperation. He said bring it in. I was there 1/2 hour later. He worked through his lunch it was PIA but not only did he figure it out he installed a new H4 bulb. I asked how much and he said A 12 PAC OF BEER. I was dumbfounded ! I paid him cash instead. This for sure will be my new shop. Great service, complete and total understanding and knowledge of what needs to be done. No crazy upsales like everyone else and they also let you know what priority the repairs are as to save you some money. I had to get the compensator sprocket done and I couldn't be more happy with the results. I was told at a different shop it was the clutch and oh how wrong they were. For starters me and my son just stepped into the Harley scene together a few months ago and got ourselves some bikes. So when I first rolled up at there shop I had many questions about my bike, first I was greeted by Jerry and than Richard these dudes answered all my questions put all my concerns at ease never felt rushed outta there. About a week or so later I took my bike in to get serviced and a tuner put in by Rich witch I was very happy with and just yesterday Rich worked on my sons Road King (Factory 47 bars, chrome cables, levers, switches, housings and grips) witch absolutely hands down did a beautiful job! The whole process of ordering parts and getting it scheduled in for installation went really smooth, Rich kept my son and I updated and informed every step of the way even allowed me to stop in and take a few pictures of the tear down process when I asked witch I thought was cool af. Did upgraded air filter and 20k service here. Bike ran great afterwards. They can clearly do the job. Plus stars for competence and friendliness. Noticed new air filter still had old parts on it. Was irritated, pointed this out to shop. Got into a fight. That was highly unpleasant. Minus stars for that. read more

I took my 2007 Deluxe. I had a minor leak coming from the outer primary cover through the plug (or whatever the bolt is called). I took my own Harley Davidson parts. K&N oil filter, Primary Gasket & oil, Eaglerider Oil. They charge $90.00 labor per hour. (Laidlaws HD is $107.). I asked Richard if he could call me at work when he found the reason for the leak. So I would not have unnecessary repairs. So that I would only get an oil change. He never called me at work but replaced the Primary Gasket and he did the oil change but I am sure he did me a favor. My bike has a lot of chrome. I got it back dirty. So I could only frown. I was worried about the leak for days. My bike is my baby. I wish I would have been kept more informed. Where that leak was coming from but overall it was taken care of and I got my oil changed and the Primary gasket changed. total cost of service $92.00 June 10, 2017. I don't know what's wrong with my darn bike. The infamous leak continues. I don't know what to do but now I am just leaving it alone. read more

It's been about a yr now since I've used Eagles Nest. I would of wrote a review then but time just slipped on by. I had bought an air ride online and one of the shocks wouldn't fit. A friend of mine told me about them so I decided to ck them out. With no heads up I just showed up and took my shock and air shock in just to ask a question. If I could remember the guys name I would post it, just to give him credit. Long story short, I asked my question, he took a look at both shocks Frankenstein the air shock and it worked out fine. He took time to do this all in 1 hr. Oh did I mention he stopped what he was doing and made time or took the time to do it. Now this may not be the norm, but it was my experience that day. I would like to use them more but the distance is too far. Sorry for the late post, and thank you. read more

I am going to try to minimize the frustration I feel about this hole. The service is mediocre at best I took about 5 bikes there to get running again they all needed batteries out of the 5 at 2 were bad it may have been 3 but even 2 out of 5 isn't good. Out of the 5 bikes i,got a call from the shop to check and see if bolts were tightened they can't remember if they tightened them or not. In my opinion that should not have happened. In,another instance one of the bikes wires were not property fastened preventing the battery from being charged. Again I begin to wonder what was I paying them for. I was an auto technician for many years and those would be called "come backs" so out of 5 bikes 2 would have been brought back to the shop. Not a very good record if you ask me almost 50% of the work done for me was substandard. Why did you take 5 bikes? You ask. Convenience. That's all its was close. The money wasn't and still isn't a problem I still have more than enough. Then things got worse. I had some very bad transactions with jerry. I can't go into detail because of various pending suits.but once those are complete I will freely publishe the outcome. On yelp and as many other sites as I can. My honest opinion of jerry is I should have never trusted him. Past experience. My opinion of eagles nest as a place where I would go in time of need. I would rather be eaten alive by army ants then to take my bikes back On a very important note I noticed that eagles nest hasn't had any reviews for quite sometime now good or bad. That alone should have told me to BE VERY WARY OF THIS SHOP. I did some looking around on yelp as well as other sites it seems as though shops that have great outstanding service are regularly reviewed it doesn't take months or years for a review. Spent 4k to rebuild my motor on my softtail and to change the oil filter. Kept having problems after it was "fixed" and they kept telling me nothing was wrong with it. I took it somewhere else and they told me that everything that I just paid for was never fixed. I spent 4k on services that were never provided. Stay away. Thet are scam artists. read more

This place sucks. Wanted to get some custom work done on my husband's motorcycle but they said it was gonna be too hard. A custom shop couldn't and wouldn't do the custom work and they were trying to charge us a ridiculous amount of money. Took the motorcycle to our regular mechanic and he charged 10 times less than what eagle's nest quoted us guess the job wasn't that impossible. They were being dicks because it wasn't a Harley. While we were there they screwed up putting some dude's wheel back on and when he complained they said "It doesn't look that bad." Don't go here. First time here for an Oil Change, guys were real nice guys. It was a hot day, the Mechanic did the job outside in the back area. The shop is small so don't go thinking your going into a Harley Dealership people go to get their bikes worked on. I appreciated them offering a cold drink and got to talk about bikes, they informed me of some things I need to have checked out, gave some advice on other things I want to wait on and priced me out on additional work I could do later. I went there the other day to get my rear tire replaced. I found that the Eagle's Nest staff to be friendly and knowledgeable. They offered me a cold drink and allowed me to hang out in the shop and watch as they did their work. I was very impressed with how quickly they were able to complete the work and I was even happier to find out they charged me such a reasonable price for the work performed. I will definitely be going back to Eagle's Nest for any future repair needs. I will never be going back to the overpriced service department of my local Harley Davidson dealer.
