Love coming to Cycle Gear Pasadena! They have a huge selection of helmets and riding gear, and most importantly, they actually have a great selection **for women** -- which can be surprisingly hard to find. The staff are always super nice and helpful. Shoutout to Ryan and Alex for being awesome! Their bike nights are also a lot of fun -- they're held on the **2nd Tuesday of every month** and are definitely worth checking out. Great store, great staff, and always a good experience! read more

Cycle Gear is one of the few places in the area where you can reliably find women's riding gear. I typically order online and handle any exchanges in-store, which has been very convenient. Alex and Ryan are my go-to associates--they've assisted me with helmet sizing, Cardo installation, setting up my RAM mount, gear fitting, and thoughtfully walking me through other purchases. Their guidance has made navigating what can be an expensive hobby much more approachable. I truly appreciate their support and expertise. I love this location and am especially grateful for how conveniently it's located near my workplace. read more

Came in to buy gear and Alenna helped me out big time. Amazing service and friendly too. Highly recommend this store and the staff.

Went in looking for some gloves and Alennie (hopefully that's correct ) was EXTREMELY helpful. She could've upsold me on some options that were within my budget, but presented more affordable options that fit my needs instead. Customer service overall was top notch and she even helped me get an idea on what armor and helmet options I should be looking for when I eventually upgrade. Will be going back and recommending everyone I know within the area to head to this shop. read more

Been to this location a few times now and everyone has been exceptionally helpful. Today, though, Anthony really took the time to help me find what I needed. He also gave me a sincere congrats for recently completing my MSF beginner course. As a new rider, that made me feel like a kid being told "good job!" from a respected teacher. :) I have no complaints, just praise, for the customer service here. I do, however, wish they had a larger selection of riding gear for women. It's definitely a fraction of what they have available for men. There's no doubt I would have spent more if I had more to choose from. Oh! Pro tip! You can get 20% off one item (with exceptions, of course) when you bring in your MSF completion certificate or the bill of sale/title for a recently purchased motorcycle. read more

4.5 stars I stopped by this store since I have an upcoming motorcycle class. I originally went in for boots only since I didn't have any that are ankle-protecting. I got the perfect pair of boots that works for now. And I also ended walking out with a much-needed helmet...that also works for now. Originally, I was about to borrow a helmet, but, with Jacob's advice, decided to buy my own. As someone who is just starting to learn, I didn't think it was a good idea to invest too heavily in $$$ equipment only to realize riding motorcycles are not for me. So, I ended up with Bilt products. Aaron helped me with boots and Jacob helped me helmets. Jacob took the same cycling course that I'll be taking, so I really appreciated his insight on the course. And also, really good tip from Jacob that classes might not have XS or 2XLs. I'll definitely be back when I'm ready to upgrade my equipment. read more

Needed a new rear tire for my Kawasaki and have to admit I'm so happy I went with Cycle Gear in Pasadena. Spoke with Eddie Saturday and he set everything up and set my new tire aside. When I walked in Sunday morning, the manager Matt was super helpful and knowledgeable, I think Eddie might have even showed up early to get my tire done. Ended up getting a new helmet while I was in the store also. Couldn't be happier with the whole experience. This will definitely be my go to store for future purchases. read more

I took my nephew to buy a helmet. The lady was very helpful and knowledgeable. Plenty of parking and easy to find the place . The prices are within the industry! Give them a try! read more

I've been bringing my son here for dirt bike parts and also safety gear for his BMX racing. Often, on Google shopping, cyclegear has the best deal on riding gear, helmets, braces, etc, but we aren't even into motorcycles. We come 90% of the time for pants and jerseys, basically anything clearance priced in 3rd grader size. Now that EV charger installation has completed right out the back door of Cycle Gear, I come inside to browse or *occasionally* to use their clean bathrooms. When CG first showed up on Lake Ave I wasn't excited. But it's exemplary retail staff and deals make it a compelling spot to visit, even if just while you charge. read more

Was looking for a specific helmet for my daughter. I called in and got Eddie on the phone who was SUPER helpful. When we drove down to make the purchase, Eddie helped us again. Dude knew his stuff and we walked away happy. Cycle Gear, your employee is professional, informative and most importantly, kind. You've got a keeper in Eddie! We will back back for any future motorcycle needs! read more

I'm a complete beginner when it comes to picking out motorcycle gear. I wanted to pick up a helmet before starting my MSF course. So I thought I'd give this place a try. Let me tell you... EDDIE IS THE MAN! Very friendly and outgoing personality. He was very patient with me when I asked probably more than 100 questions. He made me feel comfortable being a customer in a community that I'm not really familiar with. Eddie Answered all my questions and concerns with expert knowledge while maintaining a smile on his face. He Did not try to up sell me into buying the more expensive gear. Kept it within reason in my budget in which I'm grateful for. I ended up choosing an AGV K6. Although it wasn't the color I originally wanted but it's already growing on me. I'm happy and most definitely satisfied with my purchase. It fits nicely on my big head and it's very comfortable. I also want to give a shout out to the other 2 gentlemen that was working along side of him on that shift. They were also cool people with great positive attitude. Unfortunately, I didn't get their names. But all in all. Great customer service and I will certainly be a returning customer. Yuurrrr read more

Dude! What an awesome experience. Both Alex and John, huge thank you. You guys made my experience very positive. Been to a few motorcycle stores and I will never go anywhere else other than here. Very helpful, knowledgeable and overall cool dudes. Felt like very welcome here. read more

Great selection and knowledgeable friendly staff. I got tires installed same day. I'll be going there for all my tires.

Came in casually to check out their selection of helmets the other day. Eddie came by to check on me and helped answer many of my questions. After seeing they carried AGV helmets, unlike Bert's, I quickly realized I would probably need to spend more time in the store with my potential new helmet before purchasing. So I left feeling pretty excited to come back another day and to be helped by Eddie! I came back a few days later and Eddie helped me pick out my first helmet. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and never pushed any sales on me. The store is clean and well stocked with some cool employees! Will be back for more gear soon (: read more

Get fresh and safe gear from here, customer service is the main thing here. Employees are more than willing to help, they smile and say Hi. I have been here a few times and been helped by almost the whole team and they're all great. I've even had someone from the back stocking area walk up to me while the salepersons were busy and ask if he could help me find anything. Big emphasis on customer care here. We asked for Scorpion exo helmets, a week later they had them. I needed warm axial head to toe for cold weather, they had it. Basically they got everything and the fact that you can order online ship it there not like it give it back to them and order something else is just amazing. Honestly the fact that this company does that and eats so much shipping costs makes me appreciate them more. Jackets boots gloves helmets riding pants, they got it all brand names and amazing in house brands as well. I hope my review doesn't sound like a commercial but that's just how happy I am with them. I speak truth read more

Wow! Just literally left this place and all I can say is Matt went far and beyond on helping us getting a perfect helmet. He was extremely detailed on helmet specifics and sizes. He showed a large a variety of helmets and price points. Felt no pressure to purchase any helmet and felt extremely comfortable. We ended up picking the perfect helmet. All around Matt did an amazing job! Will continue coming to this store! read more

Someone by the name of Ryan helped us out yesterday and it was an amazing experience helped me out even tho he knew I wasn't ready to buy everything except a helmet but he took his time showing me the riding shoes, gloves, jackets , and everything else I had asked for amazing work thank you guys definitely will be coming back read more

Walked in looking for a cycling jacket, walked out with exactly what I was looking for. Eddie was super helpful and gave me some great advice that proved to be spot on. This is what a retail experience should always be like: friendly, helpful, and actually know what they're talking about. Bravo, guys! read more

I go in here often, the employees are awesome. Super helpful and accommodating. I've never had a bad experience when shopping in the store, the prices are fair and they always go above and beyond helping me select the best products for my needs. I recently bought the cardo edge for my helmet and they installed it into my helmet for me. Highly recommend this place for any of your motorcycle gear needs. read more

I usually don't do this but here I am ... I went in person to buy a specific helmet and when it came down to purchasing, the CSR tried to upcharge almost $100... and you wonder why the internet is better... I ended up buying the helmet online through cycle gear ‍ read more

Thanks Matt!! He help me set up my Cardo! Knows what he's talking about! Will be coming back again if I need anything.

This location is great. Nice selection of gear compared to other Cycle Gears, knowledgeable & friendly staff, and convenient location.

This was by far the best experience I had at a motorcycle gear shop. Everything I needed was in stock. Service was Amazing, Matt was outstanding he was a great help to me and my friends. Me and my friends ended up purchasing a couple of items including helmets the cardo packtalk edge units and a couple of other riding gear. Matt was a great help in recommending gear and helping find the right gear for us. side note they have a huge selection of helmets read more

Brand new rider at 55. My basic safety course instructors recommended this business for gear. After completing the AMO course and DMV process I visited the store on Lake and Anthony took the time to meet with me and talk. He had a wealth of knowledge and experience and took the time to speak w/ me, give advice and recommendations and the very helpful suggestion to explore different rent a bike sites for hands-on experience. After getting a great deal on a textile/ armor jacket I left the shop much more confident in my search for a first bike. Ended up with a 2023 Vulcan Classic LT which I proudly took back to the shop to show off and thank Anthony personally for the time he took in speaking with me. I will be back for more gear and highly recommended this shop. read more
