I called Pro Italia's service department with one simple request: clarification. Not specs, not step‑by‑step instructions -- just clarity. The Shop Manual shows contradictory information, stating to torque the bolts on the right side while the picture clearly shows the left. Before touching anything, I wanted to confirm which side was correct. The guy who answered the phone refused to help in any way. He wouldn't ask a tech, wouldn't offer insight, wouldn't even acknowledge the contradiction. Instead, he told me they have a strict policy against providing "any information like that" and that my only option was to schedule an appointment, trailer my bike in, and pay their shop rate -- all for something that could be clarified in seconds. He was more than happy to get me on the calendar for a future date, but completely unwilling to provide even the most basic level of customer service to keep a rider safe and on the road. The message was clear: they'd rather charge you than help you. After hanging up, I called another Ducati dealer. Their service advisor immediately put a tech on the phone, and within five minutes -- including hold time -- I had the answer I needed. That's what real customer service looks like. That's how you keep riders loyal. This is a professional shop that does a seriously good job. I wanted a Tamburini era Ducati, and I bought this collector grade 916 from them and broke everyone's heart lol ‍ everyone falls in love with this bike everywhere I go. I knew it was a daunting task to find an older bike like this that didn't need a complete rebuild, that's why I wanted a reputable dealer to buy from and handle the registration. I took it to a local Ducati shop closer to me and they did the timing belts, all fluid flush and refresh, plugs, compression test, full detail inspection, minor upgrades, tires, new chain and guides. Anyhow, they were gushing about the bike and the condition with all upgraded fuel line connectors etc. and that the bike was "new inside" and really well cared for. This speaks volumes about ProItalia, because they cared for this bike almost the whole life from new. They supplied all original parts, nearly new OEM wheels along with unobtainium cast marchesini mags, shop manual, owners manual, two keys, and all service records. Just a dream come true for a collector like me. I would not hesitate to purchase another bike from them, and who knows, I have a couple slots open still in the barn lol.. cheers guys! read more

Let me see, where do we start here? I've taken my bikes for service many times at PI. I also purchased several bikes from PI. Am I entitled to a royalty treatment from PI? No, but at the very least, treatment where I do not have to beg for the things I was promised. Recently, I just purchased a brand new Aprilia RS660. I tried to haggle a bit, but they would not budge. Understood that it is the only one with the color I desired, and no other dealer has it around LA. OK, I put down a deposit, then the next day, I paid the bike in cash. Upon delivery of the bike, I found out that they do not take out my deposit from the final invoice. So they owe me money. OK, so they told me that they have FedEx-ed my check so that I will get it the next day. This was on Friday. A week had passed by, and I still did not get my check. There is no FedEx delivery person. I followed up with texts and calls just to ask about the tracking for the check, but I never got a response. When I do get a response, they said they will inquire with the finance people, and then ghosted me for days. I also asked for suspension clinic registration, and it took them several days to get back to me. I also asked for an additional quote for equipment (levers and seat cowl), but it took them many back-and-forth exchanges and many days. Furthermore, I kept requesting, and they kept ignoring. Since I have some questions about it, I asked for a callback, and I am still being ghosted. The check did come after a week, via snail mail (if they had told me they mailed the check via snail mail, I would not have been freaking out TBH). All in all, I think it is just a terrible customer service, where I have to keep calling and begging to be able to spend my money. I understand that they might still be a great business, but I have just to voice my experience the way it was! A paying customer should not have to: 1. Beg for the money they are owed multiple times, via calls and texts 2. Beg for quotes, multiple times via calls and texts 3. Beg for a phone call just to review extended warranty questions I would gladly pay for your services and whatever it is you are charging me for parts and services, but your treatment towards me STINKS! I am angry because I always ask nicely and treat people nicely. Furthermore, I have said "thank you" and "I appreciate your time" many times in my texts, but the way they ghosted me is just awful. **Update** I went to PI and discussed the problems with Larry - the GM, Larry had addressed my issues and worked with me to my satisfaction. I am happy to say, PI has rectified all my issues and made me whole; for that, I appreciate their efforts. read more

I got my bike serviced again (it's Italian lol) not too long ago and not only did they finish the job pretty quickly (in basically half a day), but they also went out of their way to wipe down my grimy Tuono and filled up my tires.
