YES! Take your bike to Wrench! Nope, they ain't paying me to write this... but I have to say, I've been to my share of car and motorcycle dealerships and Wrench by far... actually cares about your bike and they care about the quality of work they do. I took my used 2005 Honda VTX 1300 to them as it was having some issues. The dealership I purchased it from pretty much lied about everything and let me ride off with a crappy carburetor. Wrench went above and beyond to accommodate me and get my bike running properly for a very affordable price. If I had a question, they answered, truthfully. They even dropped my bike off to my apartment late one night when I couldn't get to the shop to pick it up after work. Free of charge! The thing that's awesome is that they want to make sure they do the best that they can. No half assing on the work. No bull. They honor their work and take pride in giving great customer service. Not the best experience with Brendan who claims to be the owner if you ask for a deadline. Blamed a screw for the shifter peg falling off! Not the fact that if it is not safe, you should put a longer screw as it had to be done later anyway. Scratched newly painted exhaust (paint's fault perhaps even before the bike was hot); gave the bike back with loose shields, tubing not connected, water rinse and completely dirty and kept the old parts. Had to take it back and force him to get it right, but still had a chip on. Exhaust was rattling, so had to point it out for him to find a broken bracket. Now he won't work with someone who asks for the repairs done properly and tries to put up with him the whole time biting thier tongue. Good riddance and thanks for not having to deal with you again! read more

Excellent motorcycle repair shop. Very friendly and patient staff. Very knowledgeable and excellent hours. 10 - 7 so if you work 9 - 5 like me you can still get your bike after work. If you're in the Glendale or Burbank area, I defiantly recommend taking your motorcycle to Wrench. read more

Wow these guys saved my ass! I had my bike at Al's Motorcycle for almost two months and they tried everything to fix it. They even sent it home twice claiming to have fixed it only to find it had the same problem when I had first taken it in. I was growing wildly frustrated until I finally just took the bike from Al's to Wrench and within 20 minutes they diagnosed the problem and I had it back in a day. Been coming here frequently for a year now with two bikes. One of which is basically an antique '73 and almost a complete overhaul (reseal the engine, new hoses, carb cleans, valve adjustments, and engine tuning, and more to come). They have been very patient with me, and even excited on my behalf for this restore. I even broke down following a service (problem unrelated to service) and they came and promptly gave me a tow back and diagnosed the issue. For my other bike, a newer Harley sportster, they have been happy to do small mods and basic jobs for me - no problem. I have a lot of mechanic experience - but no workshop currently - and I assure you they know what they're doing and have fair prices. My confident guesses have been very much in line with their findings, and they always elaborate on an issue. Of course they also find problems I cannot. They do not give up, and given my pain-in-the-ass bike, I'm pretty sure they can figure out and fix anything. Recommended read more

This is a great bunch of guys, super helpful and professional! Brandon is the man! I went in to get both tires replaced on my aging beauty, an '83 Yamaha Maxim. Their pricing was fair ($50 per wheel, brought my own replacement tires) and they started servicing my bike immediately. They helped identify some problem areas that I would need to look out for with future maintenance, including my rear valve stem, which they said would probably need replacing next time I replaced my tires. So I rode home happy. However the next time I went to ride I saw my new rear tire was flat! Turned out that valve stem was worse off than they'd thought. But as soon as I told Brandon about my predicament he sent a truck out to bring my bike back in, promptly fixed the valve stem, and then sent me home free of charge! That's quality service. These guys at Wrench are amazing! I'm a new street bike rider and recently purchased an old bike. 98 Katana that needs a little love. I found these guys through my Mini mechanic who I trust implicitly. Brandon came out to greet me and my friend (another Kat owner) and said "man two Katanas just pulled up into my shop". He and his coworker Brian have spent the most time talking to me about my bike and being generally very helpful. I'm getting it fixed up little by little but I've taken it in twice now getting things repaired and Brian has been the one mostly working on it. These guys take the time to really explain things to you and to actually teach you things about your bike you may have not known. I came here with the mindset that this motorcycle service worked on you know most bikes. Honda I think is a very basic bike in my mind. I came to this shop WALKING my bike because it got stuck. This shop turned my goldwing around because "they don't work" on my type of bike. This service works on bikes that have been customized and you're telling me you can't work on mine. Not sure if it's because I showed up 30 min before they closed or just cause the owner or whoever made up that rule is just ignorant or incompetent, whatever it is it's sad. Really good place. Friendly, honest, reliable. These are pretty unusual qualities. I live a half mile away and until recently I had patronized major brand dealerships who have gone out of business. Yamaha of Hollywood was great. Honda of Hollywood was okay. This place is head and shoulders above those two. Not to mention nearby racing bike repairers who are snobs and will try to sell you more than you need. read more

Just a quick note about a great service experience I just had at Wrench Motorcycle Services in Los Angeles, with the owner Jamin, and his tech, Kent. I'm from Connecticut, had just toured Baja Mexico for a month on my Honda NC700X, was back in the USA, and needed some repairs to keep my tour going. Even though they were backed up with other repair work, because I was on a tour they took me right in and made the repairs so I could get back on the road. It's clear that motorcycle wrenching is not so much just a business form Jamin, but a passion. The service was quick, excellent, and very reasonably priced.
