I bought Blue, a Royal Enfield C500 few years ago and right away I knew she was a keeper. As time went by, I did not ride with her as much then came a time when she was sitting there for months on end. Before I knew it, two years went by. ‍ ‍ I'm so happy that my lovely girlfriend decided it was her turn to straddle a motorcycle and I couldn't think of a better partner for her to practice with, than Blue. So I went ahead and made the call to get her back on the road. I came upon the wonderful reviews for Melrose Moto a few days ago and it was a no brainer to reach out to them and get this going. I was helped by Emmet and Chris who helped me setup an appointment to bring Blue in. I dropped her off this past Friday morning and by 3PM, i had an estimate as well as the amount of time it'd take to get Blue going. I went by the next morning to pick her up. Chris had done a full inspection, flushed out the fluids, given her a full cleaning and even topped off her gas tank! Got a live person on my very first phone call that was knowledgeable and helpful. After giving me expert advice they were able to accommodate my busy schedule and got me in quickly. Owner is an expert in all things motorcycle and was very attentive to my concerns. The shop is located in a prime area that allows for roaming while waiting, interior design was pleasing, and they provided great merchandise for purchase as well. The shop uses up to date technology for speedy service and is in constant communication throughout the process. They were able to remedy my issue in less than 2 hours. Shipped my (5k mile) Ducati super bike across the country with the understanding (and paid deposit of $500) that they would work on it (cut new key, general inspection, etc....). Based on their website and an in-person conversation about the bike and work request, I pull it from storage, pay to ship the bike across the USA and agree to pay whatever amount of money they wished, regardless of cost to me, I literally did that. It shows up and the guy decides he cannot work on it. I literally had to walk it home in the summer in LA heat. I had to argue to get my deposit back too. Run. Do not walk unless you want a t-shirt or a fancy jacket. read more

After calling around the City for something as simple as a tire service on my Monster (seems common enough) Melrose Moto not only had the tire in stock but came in at a far better value than the local dealers. I recently used them for the first time and it was a great experience. My BMW tire was slashed and Chris could not have been more accommodating or professional. It wasn't able to be towed to him until 2 hours after closing time, but he said that was fine; just let him know when the truck arrives and he will meet me, which he did. I was thrilled that he enabled me to get it out of a private parking lot and into his shop, but he had the tire in stock and got me back on the road in 45 minutes.
