Marius has maintained both my 2022 KTM Duke 390 and my 2024 Honda CB1000R Black Edition, and I've trusted him with just about every aspect of their upkeep. That includes oil changes, tire replacements, chain replacements, battery diagnostics and replacement when my KTM wouldn't start, and general maintenance associated with keeping motorcycles outdoors. He's also helped me think through suspension setup, clutch adjustments, and brake maintenance to make sure my bikes are performing and handling the way they should. Most of my visits have been for preventative maintenance and keeping my motorcycles in excellent condition rather than dealing with major mechanical failures. That said, I've seen Marius working on bikes with much more serious issues, and the level of care and expertise he brings to those jobs is just as impressive. LA Superbikes really feels like a one-stop shop, whether you're coming in for routine maintenance, troubleshooting a problem, or dealing with something much more substantial. The quality of his work is impeccable. He maintains my bikes to a standard that makes me genuinely proud to own and show them off. His attention to detail, turnaround times, pricing, and overall customer support have consistently been fantastic. One thing I particularly appreciate is how approachable he is. He's knowledgeable, experienced, polite and flexible. I was always updated with progress with pictures and was asked thorough questions to be sure he was understanding my goals. Never did I feel rushed or taken advantage of and he was gracefully patient with me the whole time. Although there was no immediate rush as to a deadline, my bike was ready sooner than later. I noticed them growing over the years and becoming an official factory-authorized dealer, so when I was looking to get back into riding, I decided to check out a pre-owned 2019 Yamaha MT-10 they had on the floor. Well, it looks like not much has changed in all these years when it comes to their pre-owned offerings. This bike (with around 10k miles) was in terrible shape. The chain was totally rusted out, the seat was broken, and the left grip was completely loose, indicating a poorly done replacement. The left-side engine case had rash--probably from a drop, which connects to why that grip needed replacement. On top of that, the battery was dead, the front tire was completely bald, the back tire was 4 years old despite having tread, and last but not least, the bike had an active, open safety recall. Yet, their asking price was for a bike in great condition. Whenever I pointed an issue out to the salesperson, he replied that they knew about it and intended on fixing it at the time it was purchased, which I highly doubt. I am pretty sure they would happily sell that bike as-is to an unsuspecting buyer. Otherwise, why not take care of those things to begin with if you plan on doing them anyway? It doesn't inspire a lot of confidence in a major dealership to see a bike in such poor condition on the showroom floor. My guess is they try to pass off a mess to someone first, and if it doesn't sell, only then do they start lowering the price or addressing the issues. It's a shady way to do business.
