My wife and i ended up getting the R3. After that Juan helped us out to purchase the bike. After waiting for approval and all the paperwork there were other employees that congradulated us gave us some shirts and other stuff. They were really happy for us. And we got a Hatsune Miku helmet. Womderful!!! Definetly will come back here for out second bike and will refer friends here. Thank you to all who helped us and congradulated us!!!

I understand if it's closer to you and if you decide to get one anyway please be careful. I personally was lied to. Part of me buying the bike was them giving me a certain percent off for a yoshi exhaust. That never happened and they never tried to offer anything to fix it. This is probably not them but my break lever had a piece missing and I didn't notice till I got home. I live 1:30 away from Long Beach. When it was time for the 600 mile service. I definitely didn't go with them. Took it to a local bike shop and they noticed bolts that were loose and they over filled the bike with oil. There's 0 communication with them. I've been waiting for my gap check for months. I've gone there multiple times. That's hours there and back yet no answer on when I can get my gap check. It's been a horrible experience dealing with Del Amo Long Beach. I bought two other bikes at two other bike shops and the employees there told me there are many customers that say the same. I would definitely advise you to go somewhere else.

While I haven't taken one of MotoQuest's organized tours, I have taken advantage of their Transport Specials to move bikes between their West Coast locations. Each time I have worked with MotoQuest, their staff has been top notch. Very attentive to what my needs will be on the ride, offering luggage options to carry all of my gear, answering any questions I have about the bikes, and on one occasion when it was needed, they even stored my motorcycle at their Long Beach location while I was renting their bike. I recently returned from a ride from Long Beach to Portland. As with all of my experiences, when I arrived, the bike was cleaned, fueled, and ready to go. In fact, this bike, an F750GS, was brand new. As expected for a new machine, it performed flawlessly, and I had a fantastic time, enjoying the Highway 1 ride, along the coast, over the Golden Gate Bridge, and up into the Redwood Forest, before exploring the towns and beaches along the Oregon coast. Along my ride, I got a call from MotoQuest's Portland location to make sure that I was enjoying the ride, and when I arrived, I was greeted with a cold water, and a place to change into my street clothes for the flight home. If you're looking to rent a great bike from a great group of people, MotoQuest is the place to go.
