After taking a hard spill on my MT07 and having inconsistent work done at other shops in the past, I decided to search 5 star ratings for a reputable one. I wanted a communicative, honest and competent mechanic to work with me/my insurance and this was him!! Lemme tell you, Marius has his sh** together. The boy knows bikes and not only did he and his assistant fix all the broken things (including finding another shop's almost fatal mistake) but he also worked with me to customize upgrades that I wanted. He's knowledgeable, experienced, polite and flexible. I was always updated with progress with pictures and was asked thorough questions to be sure he was understanding my goals. Never did I feel rushed or taken advantage of and he was gracefully patient with me the whole time. Although there was no immediate rush as to a deadline, my bike was ready sooner than later. Handed him a bit of loose cash for doing extras I asked for which he almost refused, so he's one of these guys who appreciates a tip but doesn't expect one. But tip him, folks! The shop is tucked away and secure. He's busy with alot of bikes and things around but it's very organized chaos. Everything is clean and they take care not to damage anything. I brought in my Yamaha FJ-09 not long after buying it, and it needed a good amount of work--new tires, chain and sprocket replacement, oil change, the works. He took care of it all, no problem. I also had what looked like a small oil leak. At first, we thought it was the drain bolt. Marius swapped it out for a new one for free, even drained and refilled the oil at no charge. Turns out later it was from the oil pan, but that just shows the kind of guy he is--straightforward, helpful, and genuinely wants to get it right. I can not say enough great things about LA Superbikes and Marius. And I'm a crotchety and salty guy. I have a 74 Norton Commando 850 ("Debbie") that I've had for over 20 yrs in Chicago, NYC and now Silver Lake. Through those years I learned to pretty much maintain the bike mechanically -- but always had an issue with its electrical (replacing wiring harness 3x in the past 10 years). So I thought I'd be smart and replace the old 40/50w headlight with an LED light -- y'know, it'll draw less power. That was a disaster. The bike kept shorting and couldn't solve the problem with seeing any live wires. Put back the original bulb (that's less powerful than a desk lamp) but the bike was dead. Had friends take a look and even called everywhere, but no one would work on an old British bike. Or they weren't taking new customers. This is LA, right? It was my last straw. Maybe it was time to put Debbie down. In a mopey and drunken state at 1am, I went online (nothing good happens in that scenario). Then I saw a new shop that opened called LA Superbikes in Culver. And if you know LA -- thass far! I emailed them, full knowing that I probably wouldn't hear back. Marius e-mailed me back 15 minutes later and told me to bring it to his shop. Great! But then I had to find a way to tow Debbie there. Long story longer -- Marius came with his electrician and towed the bike for me. On a Sunday! The next day he texted me to tell me what was happening -- wiring harness all wrong and some other issues. In a little over a week he had it all repaired (had to wait for a new Zener to come in and even built me a new battery box). He also towed it back to Silver Lake for me. And the kicker -- completely affordable price to bring Debbie back from the dead. TL;DR Marius and LA Superbikes are AMAZING! Now to have them open a shop on the East side... read more

I had my clutch line slip out of its arm while about 1-2 miles from this shop on Sunday. This is my first bike and in a panic, I called to see if anyone was open nearby that could tow me. This shop was open and didn't have a tow at the time, however, instead of hanging up and letting my go on my own. They were actively texting with me to help resolve my issue with videos and thorough instruction. And, then immediately opted to come to me, a non-customer, a mile away to help fix my bike, and even explain to me what was going on so i could help myself in the future. They resolved my issue without batting an eye, and asked nothing in return. I hope I don't need anything in the near future but, this shop will be the first place I take my bike when I do. Brought my 21 MT-09 in for an oil change, they were able to get me in quick and did the job super quick. The guy is super nice and a good dude. Super communicative and accommodating, if you stop by you'll see tons of people entrust their awesome bikes to these guys and for good reason. I found them after calling the closest Vespa dealership and they refused to give me a price on fixing igntion key switch that someone damaged trying to steal my LX150. They even helped me get it towed to their shop as AAA wouldnt help with the transporting. Marius gave me a fair price, and at every step of the way sent me pictures to show what work was being done. He was super professional, kind and just genuinely a great young man. He didnt try and sell me anything I didnt need, and I asked them to install new tires after the fact and he did it without hesitation.
