If there is anyone that can fix a bike, it is Mike. I brought him a headache that wasn't working, and he did a full assessment. He wasn't about the bells and whistles, and helped me save money in every step. He is a no nonsense guy who I have come to truly respect not only as a mechanic, but in how he is as a person. He has shown me that he can fix any bike, and was able to put on tires, check fluids, rebuild a brake master cylinder, and clean up a fuel system and pump for my Suzuki SV650. I think the value you get here is amazing because he is cash only, can find the parts for you, and does the quick research you need to get you bike going. He will not oversell or upsell you EVER, and so what you get is even other bike shops referring to him when bikes are older or unworkable. My husband and I both own motorcycles. I found Mike's Garage on Yelp and decided to give him a call. I got an answer right away and he advised me to let him check it out. I ended up going to his shop for an inspection... He checked the engine with devices and took the motorcycle around the block to see why the engine was stalling... Found out what was wrong... Ordered the parts... I returned two days later once he received the parts ... He installed the parts while I went to a coffee shop. He then texted me, letting me know that the work was completed ... Mike is a great mechanic! He really does work wonders. I have been going to him for a while and he has changed my oil, brakes, tires as well as replaced my fork seals. He has been working at several locations but his service has always been superb. He has extensive knowledge of motorcycles and has been working on them for many years. Very quick to reply as well as a quick turn around time. I have taken several bikes to him and he does a wonderful job each and every time. He definitely takes the time to look over the bike and test it to make sure everything is perfect before returning it to you. I took my 2012 Kawasaki in that had been sitting in my garage for 3 years and did not start. Mike took an extensive look at everything and was able to keep me updated with text messages and photos regularly. He got the bike running for me and did a great tune up. When I arrived to pick up the bike he was able to explain a ton of maintenance things to me that I didn't know which helps in keeping the bike in good running shape going forward. Mike is absolutely talented and most professional mechanic I have ever seen in the US. Plus he would definitely give you a fair price for the job, no doubt I brought my 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 300 which is salvage in a horrible condition - forks were wrong size, the whole front was "Loose". Sprocket and chain had to be replaced. Problems with plastic and electricity. During corona most of the shops have closed and I decided to buy parts on eBay myself and find a new mechanic as my previous mechanic turned out to have drinking problems and could not finish the job in 2 months. Mike replaced forks and steering wheel that I brought, replaced chain and sprocket, cleaned frond brakes form oil and installed brake pads, checked electricity and fixed plastic body - all in less the 2 days!
