Aside from my deep gratitude for free service, these guys also work really hard. The customer-facing representatives were visibly busy with phone calls, mediating between customers and mechanics, tending to other customers who were there to pick up/ drop off/ get a consultation for their cars, all while exhibiting coolness and professionalism. Botched oil change…read more.. I took my vehicle for an oil change a couple of weeks prior from the date of this post. After service I noticed the slight but consistent oil leak I had going on had increased dramatically to the point that I was leaving huge oil puddles in a parking spot after a minimum of two hours. As of the date of this post, my car began to overheat, and when I popped the trunk I noticed that there was antifreeze on the engine. None of these problems were occurring with my vehicle before the oil change, it was noticeable by next day. I am hoping that it's an oversight that they will be able to acknowledge and willing to make right.

I had an appointment and still waited about 3 hours. What made it worse was watching a customer without an appointment get taken care of ahead of me. It really made me wonder what the point of making an appointment was. I also found out that the tire I got had better prices at the shop across the street. To top it off, I left with my tires underinflated and had to add air myself. Between the long wait despite having an appointment, uncomfortable waiting area, pricing, and leaving with incorrect tire pressure, it was just an overall bad experience. I gave it 2 stars , since I liked the new tires and they didn't scratch the rims on installation.

Don't Go Here!(totally ripped me off)Took a Vespa here to do a job that would take less than a week that turned into a month I had to keep calling to track this guy down and just keep giving me the run around!Finally calls me up after me having to pressure him to get the scooter done says he got the scooter running(puts phone up to motor so I can hear it)but it's not fixed something in the motor and was afraid to look at it and may as well get a new scooter,so I come pick it up and ends up charging me for labor and storage doesn't fix my scooter and cost $400-$500 for hardly doing shit!...ok so I take it to a friend who doesn't claim to be a "mechanic" months after thinking my scooter is done for...he opens it up finds the belt that was torn apart inside of it that broke,replaces it,cleans carburetor,changed a few bolts,paints it and fixes my scooter for less than $100 WTF!So this guy is Full of Shit thanks a lot guy!So take my advice take your Scooters ,Motorcycles,Etc to someone who doesn't claim to be a Mechanic like Scooter Doc and you won't get ripped off! read more

I own a prized Vespa GT200 that I use daily for commuting to work and also for recreational purposes. Over time, I have noticed a decline in my Vespa's performance, and my confidence in riding it has also diminished. I have already experienced two services from a solo mechanic who tends to tip bikes sideways to drop oil in downtown areas. Very attentive to my needs, very pleasant with his responses and greeted me with a cold bottle of water on a hot day! I went to the Scooter Doc looking for a scooter part that I needed for a project I was working on. The part I was seeking wasn't anything major so Rich looked through a box of spare parts and found what I was looking for. He gave it to me at no charge and also provided me with tips on my project! Scooter Doc is the absolute best. I've been riding my motorcycle for almost a month now; since bringing it to get repaired by scooter doc. When I got the bike, it wouldn't even turn on; but now it's like a brand new bike. He gave me a detailed lay out of everything that was worked on, and included pictures to show me what and how he repaired it. The cost for the repair was reasonable, and definitely cheaper than other places I considered taking it to. Our daughter has a Vespa at UCLA and we were looking for a place that we could trust to get the Vespa serviced and repaired when we need it. We live in Florida, so we have to be able to trust a repair shop so far away and Rich did a great job being honest about what the scooter needed repaired and what to get fixed. Although his shop is farther from her than a couple other shops we called, he had the same delivery fee so distance didn't matter. He picked up her scooter & is dropping it back off. Rich was amazing. The level of service is terrific. His attention to detail is the best. My 2005 ET4 is running like new! Rich won't let a scooter go out his door unless he is sure that he has checked everything and it is as safe as it can be. Just brought my 2007 Gts 250 in to Rich. He was able to diagnose everything that needed to be fixed and did a huge amount of work in a short amount of time, including reupholstering the seat, changing the belt, rollers, air filter, new tires, shocks, clutch pack, in addition to replacing fluids and some detail work. I couldn't believe how well the bike was riding when I took it home--it rides better than ever, even better than brand new.
